Motorola Bluetooth Stero Headsets :: S9 Sound Cuts Out While Playing Music
Apr 25, 2011
I have attempted to use these horrible headphones wiht multiple different phones now and I still have the same issue If I am walking around the sound constantly cuts out and skips!I can't believe Motorolla would seel such a useless product.I don't know if it has something to do with the buildings in the city or what because if i am in my car or on the subway it doesn't really happen, only when I'm walking around the city.
How do I set the music settings? The manual says to press and hold the multifunction switch until I hear a voice prompt. The menu cycles through bass, treble equalizer and vocalizer but doesn't say how to change or adjust those settings.
Bluetooth connects but whe trying to make a call or answering a call, the bluetooth keeps making a noise and disconnects. Reset buetooth but still don't work. battery is fully charged.
I've just got the motorola rokr S9-HD headphones and I cannot find a way tu turn on the SRS WOW features, based on the manual I have to press the forward button for a while to turn it on but nothing happends, I even hold it for 30 seconds,
i don't know if this is configuration but i'm having trouble using my s11 headset with windows 8. after they are paired they disconnect when media starts playing - netflix, hulu, Internet - and not just via the browser, also using the netflix win8 app, for example.
my S10 HD which has great volume with phone calls but volume is too low when playing music Did a reset but no luck...Am I missing something I have tried 3 different headsets and all are the same
I just got a Motorola Elite Sliver headset, and it won't stop beeping. I get four quick beeps, then silence for about thirty seconds, then the beeps again. It does this whether it is paired with anything or not. it will stop during a call or listening to music, but when nothing is going on, the beeping kicks in.
Music volume is too low to hear but phone calls are fine did a reset and it was ok once but has never been the same volume as volume with wired earphones am I missing something?
I found this headset among some items my wife was throwing out. I plugged in the charger and very quickly there was a solid green light circle showing. I left it on the charger, not knowing what the light meant. after all day on the charger there was no change so I unplugged it and began looking for instructions. I secured the quick manual for the H700 which said that turning it on was accomplished by swinging the microphone boom out all the way. I did and no lights of any color showed. What might be going on with this headset. I am guessing that my wife maybe bought this headset last July.
I'm not too thrilled that the little decorative white, plastic marks near the ear buds on my S10-HD Bluetooth® stereo headphones are already trying to fall off.
Called Motorola this morning sending the Sliver back, they make a 300 foot range claim thats bull i can't get 20 feet from my phone it connects and disconnects 20 times a day I talked to Motorola and they told me if they sent me a replacement and that was --profanity removed-- also i could not get my money back even if I was still within my 30 days.
Alright, over the past week, my bluetooth has been acting rather spotty, then today, it just stopped working completely. Now when I plug it in to charge, the little LED on the side will quickly flash three times in red, then it goes to a long red, then a long green with no break inbetween red and green. When I unplug it and attempt to turn the device on, all I'll get out of the headset is a low tone for a few seconds, then nothing.
I've attempted to contact Motorola via the live chat and a 800 number they gave me from there, but all they can tell me is that their system is down and wont be up till early next week. Fine, I just want to know what the flashing means (Obviously it means something otherwise it wouldn't be flashing, right?) and if there's a possible fix I can use to have my headset working again for the time being.
I have just obtained S10-HD and can pair to my iPod touch but no luck with my Xoom wifi ice cream sandwich (soon jelly bean)? I notice that some have had luck while pressing the s10-HD power button and the + volume button (the blue pairing light is steady). Nothing works for me!
I was using my wireless headset for several months without any issues. I was wearing them today at the gym, made a phone call on them after the gym, and was listening to Howard Stern at work when the batteries started dying. No problems - was using them continuously for over 3.5 hours. I plugged them in, charged them for 4 hours, and now they won't turn back on. When I plug them in, the charging light comes on, then the blue "charge complete" light comes on after a couple of minutes, but when I try to turn them on, I get nothing. I purchased these because they were advertised as "sweat proof", but I'm beginning to think not. So my question is this, Motorola, am I doing something wrong, or, as I've found mentioned in several places in these forums, is there a design issue with your product?
(I have a pair of S10's and a pair of S9's. The problems below happen using either one, but let's focus on the S10's. The problem is not interference between the two). When I pair my S10-HD set to my laptop (Acer TimelineX, Windows 7 64-bit, Broadcomm Bluetooth 3.0 USB driver 6.3.0.5900, Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator6.1.7600.16805), I have two options: 1) With Audio Sink disabled in Services (device>properties>services tab) I get great audio, but it cuts out continually (sound goes off and on) AND it is out of sync with video (in all video programs... Windows Media Player, VLC, and Silverlight); or 2) It is in sync, but is horrible sound (muffled volume, awful constant static).
This is what I have tried: All combinations of services, allow and disallow bluetooth devices to find this computer, clearing pairs and re-pairing over and over and disconnecting reconnecting and closing applications rebooting and closing and relaunching applications (all combinations for all tried scenarios), turning off ALL wireless devices in the house, never S9's and S10's on same machine, and I've tried every combination of button pressing on the headset. Bluetooth is set as the default playback device. The headset pairs perfectly with my iPhone 4 (the phone was not on during pairing or when experiencing the problem).
it won't stay in the charging case, I can see the light go off after a few minutes and hear it turn on and announce that it's connected or trying to connect (if my phone is paired to my desk headset that is).
I read one discussion that was discussing the problem of the bt EF isconnecting/connecting when a call ended. The problem I am experiencing is the same, except my EF is doing this during calls. Any idea what can be done to resolve this?
I have a Motorola Elite Flip headset I use with a LG 505c 'dumb' phone, and have one problem. If not used for a while, the phone will 'time out' and turn itself off. When this happens, I can't figure out how to get the headset to turn it back on, or unlock it, in order to make a call. One press of the 'call' button just brings up the phone's screen where you 'press & hold to unlock. A second press of the call button doesn't do anything.A press and hold of the call button redials the last number.
I have a Motorola H17 headset that worked great with my Windows Phone when the OS was at 7.0.After I upgraded to the new OS 7.5, I now can't hear the phone connecting on a call.I can hear the audio say "phone 1 connected" and I can hear when I hang up.It is not on mute on the headset or the phone. No sound of the actual call comes through the headset. And after I close the headset, then I can't hear a phone call through the phone either, so I have to turn the phone off and on to get it to work again.the phone's bluetooth setting goes off and on as it should.
Just got the Elite Flip Thursday night (it's now Saturday morning), paired it with Moto Droid Razr Maxx (OTA .181), and yes, I am using the latest MotoSpeak. I noticed that every time I used the EF for a telephone call, once the call was disconnected, usually but not exclusively by the other party hanging up, the Elite Flip would disconnect from the phone and then reconnect. Is this normal? Is there a way to keep the Elite Flip from doing this?
I love my Motorola Finiti, but I seem to be having issues with stealth mode.According to the manual, I should get a "stealth mode" prompt when turning the feature on or off. All I hear is two quick beeps. Is there anyway to confirm if stealth mode is enabled/disabled?
I recently purchase the S305 and l really like the sound quality, comfort and convenience. It works excellent with my audio books which is the main reason I purchased it. The trouble I'm having is that on voice calls it is constantly dropping the connection. First I hear a farting noise and then my caller is gone.
