Motorola Motoactv :: How To Delete Workouts
Apr 10, 2012So got my motoactv yesterday and to test I of course started a workout walking around my kitchen..I can't seem to now delete this test workout from the device? Workout->Recent-Run.I was able to remove it from the dashboard but it will not sync the changes to my device as they are still listed.

Feb 17, 2012I just got my Motoactv but I'm having a lot of trouble setting it up the way I want.Among other things, it isn't syncing the way I choose. I selected which playlists I want to sync to the devive but it has still taken in a ton of additional music that I don't want. I do not want podasts on the device. I do not want anything other than the playlists I choose. How do I fix this?

Mar 10, 2012You can delete workouts and have been able to for some time now(at least since January) . Just go to workouts tab. then click on recent workouts. make sure its in bar view not table view. and place your arrow over your workout. A box pops up. In the lower right hand corner you'll see delete click on it nad your workout magically goes away. It still wont fix your workouts if you got carmichealed but you can delete it.

Nov 15, 2011how to Delete a incorrect weight value from MotoActv.com, 2) Lock in default metrics (i.e. MPH + Heart Rate as opposed to Pace & always show "non-active days"), 3) Identify how many "real world" laps I've performed in a specific run (aka passing the same point in a 0.65 mile circle around the block), 4) Is there a way to log a "heart rate only" workout (i.e. if I lift weight, play tennis, go boxing, use a row machine or any other non-standard workout ... ideally I'd like to be able to name said workouts as well but, 5) Is there a way to quickly see what song is currently playing on a run (technically I can always go to MotoActv.com after a run to see what songs I didn't like / skipped past and will ultimately remove from my playlist. but it's always nice to see what's playing at that time

Jan 26, 2012A funny thing has happened on my 8GB MOTOACTV. Music that I do not have has begun to appear on my device. I originally downloaded approximately 220 songs and have since added another 15. However, my song total now shows at 401 songs, many of which I would NEVER listen to. THere is nothing worse that running and listening to a great song and have the next one be a Bay City Roller or Cyndi Laupner tune. Are these songs being uploaded when I plug into the website? Were they pre-loaded onto the device?

Mar 18, 2012I have recorded short work outs by mistake several times. I then reset the device and carry out my workout as usual. Unfortunately the motoactv then syncs with my wifi and uploads both workouts.I know that I can delete workouts by hovering over the workout in the bar charts view however this is not the case if you've got a short workout recorded on the same day (as in the above situation). In fact I don't see the dud workout in the bar chart view but when I switch to the table view there it is. Annoyingly I can't delete the workout from within the table view.
Also, are there any known issues of only occasional syncing with a wifi network once it's been set up? Sometimes I return from a run and the workout syncs straight away. Sometimes the workout never syncs and I have to plug in the cable in order to do this. Tonight I actually lost a workout as it didn't sync and then disappeared off the device!

Aug 7, 2012I've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

Feb 25, 2012I see that people say they use the MA as a watch. Perhaps it's a problem with my unit, but if I wear the MA as a watch, no Bluetooth, no music etc. I have it timed out at 15 secs (makes a boring watch) and the brightness guite low... it never lasts the whole day before I have to recharge it. Seems a bit pointless having a "watch" that runs out of power before the day is through.If you use the MA simply as a watch (ignoring the silly steps counter which can't be turned off!) how long do you get?

Oct 17, 2012The unit worked normally for my workout yesterday. This morning I tried to turn it on for my workout, and nothing happens. I plugged it into the computer to see if I had inadvertently killed the battery. The white charging light comes on, but the display doesn't show the battery percentage graphic, and nothing happens when I push the power button. The Motorola charger is at home, so I can't try that until after work.

Motorola Motoactv :: Can't Log Into Android App
Jun 1, 2012After having a ton of syncing problems that never got resolved I now get "Please wait, syncronization in progress..." screen for a long period of time. It will eventually time out.
I have tried uninstall, reinstall, and even a factory reset erasing everything. Nothing works. I have had this issue with the last couple versions of the MOTOACTV app but I am currently on 2.0.52. I emailed support a logcat a while back but never heard anything from it. I love the MOTOACTV, but without the app.
Oh and I am using a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.0.4.
Motorola Motoactv :: Wifi Always On Or Always Off?
Jun 12, 2012So before this last update I think my wifi was always on. When I got back from a run by the time I could get to my laptop the data was already synced. After this update it seems the wifi is off and when I click on wifi settings it says "enabling wifi". How do I turn this off or on so either it always connect to my wifi when in range or stays off until i tell it?
