Motorola Motoactv :: Intensity Level Not Transferring To Dashboard?
Dec 29, 2011
After completing a workout, you have an opportunity to rate the intensity level from very easy, easy, difficult and very difficult. However, this does not get transferred to the [URL]dashboard.
I've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.
Ever since I initially charged my XOOM the battery indicator shows 100% full, never shows any discharge & just shuts down when the battery is flat with no warning, any ideas, still under warranty.
I just received my Verizon Xoom back from Motorola for the 4G upgrade, the Xoom had 3G signal level before it went in for the 4G upgrade, now it shows no signal level, I checked in "Status", it shows 0dBm in signal strength and network is listed as "Unknown"..this Xoom is not activated and was not activated when it went in for the 4G upgrade, but it DID show 3G signal strength before the upgrade and "Network" was listed as "Verizon".
My bluetooth devices work fine with my previous phone (Sanyo SCP-3810). Main device is LG HFB-500 speakerphone. But the volume is much too low with my Motorola Triumph. Can barely hear anything at max volume. Seems to be a common problem for Android devices. How about a fix Moto?
Pretty much every app/widget I've tried only gives me a report on the battery level in increments of 10%. Is there a way for me to get a more accurate report on the battery level?
I powered off and restarted my Electrify this morning. It had run on battery for about ten hours and the battery level on Circle Battery Widget said 84% - which is pretty normal. When it came back on, Circle said 96% and the standard notification bar battery icon showed totally full, which is absolutely not normal! I plugged in the charger and it was up to "100%" and stopped charging within a few minutes, not nearly as long as a normal morning charge would take. This was the second power cycle I've done since installing the 2.3.5 update. After the first one (about two weeks after the update!), my WidgetLocker lock screen showed up, but after I unlocked it I got the standard lockscreen and had to unlock that, too. The developer had already found this problem which was introduced by the 2.3.5 update, and had a fix ready. Neither of us could figure out why the problem hadn't shown up on my very first boot of the 2.3.5 version.
I have seen some reports here that the update recalibrated the battery level indications, but there is no mention of that in the official changelog. What I'm wondering is if the changes from the update might somehow be appearing one at a time for me? It sure looks like this morning's restart found a new set of battery levels. Is that why I see people suggesting we should do a battery pull after the update? I didn't see that as part of the official instructions, and I doubt typical OTA customers would do it.(I did verify that I had 1080 video immediately after the update, and I had to uninstall and re-install the Flash 11 update to get it to work with Dolphin HD, so at least some parts of the update appeared after the very first boot.)I see lots of procedures for recalibrating the battery levels, but they all require a rooted phone. Is there some official procedure for us non-rooted peopleTW, the reason I'm paranoid about battery level is that the phone came with "Nighttime saver" mode on by default. While this seems like a good thing, it is disastrous if you use SugarSync - it causes SugarSync to hold wakelocks and wifilocks for more than half of the "saver" time period, and totally trashes your battery overnight. Set Battery Mode to "Performance"
Let the developers know what new innovations you would like to see in Motoactive. Let them know what Apps, websites, hardware features that are out there that you love and would like to see incorporated into Motoactv.
My Motorola Charm's battery life went all the way to 0% because I couldn't get to my charger in time, but now everytime I try plugging it into the charger, it won't charge up. I even tried charging it for 2 days, and still the screen says 0%, and the phone won't turn on no matter what.
A new issue with the 3.2 update. I set the speaker volume to zero and pressed OK. Later I attempted to reset the volume to full on. Next I initiated an MP4 movie (using the latest Quicktime); the movie plays fine but with no sound. I stop the movie go back to the sound setting and it has reset itself to zero. The same result with an MP3 music file. Is this a software compatibility issue?
I am hearing impaired and rely on the Maxx vibrate mode to catch messages. However the vibration is weak and only vibrates in two very short bursts.I cannot feel it.Is there a way to change the level and frequency of vibration? I didn't see anything is the Settings app.
I've got a wifi only Xyboard 10.1 that has in the last couple of weeks developed the won't charge issue. I've read through the forums and some say it's the battery. It seems to be a micro usb port issue in my case at least. I can prop the cord just so and get a charging indication but it never seems to charge in actuality, rarely going above 30%.
if as a result of Android 4.3 upgrade to HTC One if they have made the vibration intensity less than before. The reason I ask is because I have been given a new model of HTC One (original one broke) but this new one's vibration intensity is rubbish!! Wasn't too sure if it was the phone or whether HTC had pulled down the notification intensity as it was really strong before.
The help states ""Lock phone" will remotely lock your phone and present a custom message which you can personalize by pressing the "Settings" button."I cannot find this on the phone itself. Are there screens after the "Lock phone" button on the dashboard? if so, it would be helpful to state this, as i have a feeling users will be put off by the possibilty that their next action may lock the phone with no knowledge of how to unlock it.
When I have BB Maps open, and have begun GPS navigation, the "dashboard" has several items of information. Left side of dahs has mph. The center of dash has some sort of symbol and a number. What does the symbol and number represent?
So I just got the factory unlocked HTC One M8 from the website and so far I'm loving it. The only thing with me though is that I REALLY think the vibration intensity on this device is too high (or is it just me?).
I've tried Samsung PC Studio 7 with no luck - it will not recognize my phone. Have changed USB phone settings to Modem as I read in a thread somewhere, still no luck.
I don't have texting, don't use internet on the phone, so I can't email them to the phone.
I was able to transfer mp3's via. the USB cable & sync with Windows Media player, that works great, but I can't get them to set as a ringtone...
Is the only "free" way to put ringtones on this phone is to use a SD card? If so, how is that accomplished?
Just got new Intensity. After activating and playing around with it for awhile, I updated the software through the "Phone Info" menu. This appears to have worked, everything on the phone still works fine, however there is now an "AA" on the middle left side of the home screen. It even rotates to middle left with the screen when you slide out the keyboard. When bringing up Menu's it disappears, but is always back on the home screen when you return. Have tried changing wallpapers, verified that no banners were turned on. Have tried power cycling the phone several times, no luck getting rid of it.
Has anyone figured out how to get stereo sound out of the 2.5 mm jack on a Samsung Intensity? I have obtained several different "stereo" adapters for 3.5 mm headphones, and I still get either mono sound or sound out of only one channel.
I would like to know if there's a way to put ringtones on my samsung intensity with a micro sd card. i've tried to create a folder called : my_ringtones and it didn't work! also, i'm with telus.
I got a samsung intensity and I was wondering how to transfer a image(to be a wallpaper) from the pc to the phone? I tried to use the data cable it came with (the usb cord), and also the samsung pc studio. But I guess I can't figure it out. Also, can I set seperate ringstones for my contacts? I tried, but they are still all the same.
I formatted, then put a couple of songs on it to test it out. The phone recognized and played them, so then I added the rest of my music to the memory card. There's about 14 gb on the card now, so it's almost full. The phone also accurately tells me that there's about 14gb of the memory card that's occupied. BUT The music player now only puts a small portion of all those songs into its playlist, I would say it only plays about 2 gb out of the total 14 gb. I also cannot choose which songs get put on the playlist. I am on Telus, NOT Verizon, by the way. Why can't I access ALL my music in the music player? Is there a maximum to the number of songs in the mp3 playlist that I wasn't aware of? Did I buy the wrong memory card?
