Just got my new A45Eco, running on TMobile network, received the Motorola setup instructions and still cannot send text messages.all messages go straight to the outbox with an error message. any tips?
View 3 RepliesQuick question I have a nokia N95 phone but it wont let me send messages it puts them in the outbox, says a resend time then says failed and comes up with un able to send... When I press details it says "General: memory full. Close some applications and try again".... I have no applications
open and have pressed and held the menu button to check and defiantly don't. I have turned it off And on, re installed message settings, deleted stuff, even reinstalled factory settings and its still not working id much appreciate some help. It did the same thing on Tuesday but was fine when I woke up Wednesday morning. It did it again 10pm Wednesday night and is still the same and its Friday xx I have posted this message on facebook and got told to ask here. I don't know if there is already a topic on this, but I really want to sort this problem out. I have always had Ionians and they have usually been very reliable...
I can't send a decent quality video clip taken with my phone over mms. It will only let me send unwatchable video, even if the video is only five seconds. Is there something I'm missing?

Is there a way to send group messages on the Moto X 2014? I tried sending an SMS to 2 people (that both have iPhones) and it sent as 2 independent messages. I want them to be in the same thread so that I don't have to "copy/paste" from one thread to another...I would prefer it to go out as an SMS rather than data, if that makes sense. Basically, I want the functionality of the iPhone group messaging to work on my Moto X.
Anyone having trouble sending mail? I have a POP 3 account with COX San Diego. I can recieve mail but I can NOT send mail. This phone does not have SSL. I tried 587 in the settings along with all of the other info, identical to the other phone ( EVO 4G) and my Outlook setting on my home PC (except for the 587 port) Home pc has 25 there.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to set up my email on my new Admiral and I've run into a bit of a snag. I'm able to receive emails just fine, but it appears I'm having no such luck trying to send even a test message. Given I have no problems doing so in Outlook, Thunderbird, and on my old Blackberry, I have to believe there is something android related that's giving me complications. I'm using the standard android email application (No Hotmail/Yahoo/Gmail) for an IMAP email account (No Enterprise/Corporate Sync/etc.).
I have entered the server info, port info, username info identical to what appears on my outlook/thunderbird server settings to no avail. If I was given some sort of error message when the email is not sent I would post it, but the only thing that happens is I get a notification on the top bar saying "Email not sent". If I try to access the message to get insight on an error, I am simply redirected to the email message in the outbox with no explanation.

Numbers in my contact list, however, have *82 programed in front of the number so friends, etc. will know it is me calling. This works fine when I call a contact, but, when I try to text the same number, I get the error "The message must contain valid recipients and content" and am unable to send the text. If I manually enter the same number without the *82, I can send the text, but, nobody knows who it is from, because, my umber will not be revealed. However, I am trying to set up a couple of business accounts (.co.uk and .eu domains), and althought they work ok in most respects (they pick up all incoming e-mails, and also copies of outbound e-mails created on my laptop), the phone does not seem to be able to reliably send e-mails: they get stuck in the outbox.

View 8 Replies View RelatedSince I got the Motorola Droid Turbo I have not been able to send out mass text. my last droid phone I could click on people which then opened my contact list, there was boxes next to each contact for me to check multiple people. On the Droid Turbo, when I need to send out a text with multiple people there is no way I see to get to my contacts and click on multiple people. I send out a mass text every week and need to get this quirk fixed. I have also tried a few texting apps. but when I send out the mass text a message box pops up that says "SMS is sending a large amount of... do you want to allow? I click allow, but the box will continue to pop up over and over, but does not actually send out all of the texts. I only send 20 text at a time, so I'm not sure why it is not working as far as the texting app goes. Mostly I would like to be able to use the regular texting app that comes with the phone again.

So I bought a 32 gb Moto X(2nd gen) about 4 months ago.I've tried to download a few games like Injustice,Fifa 15,Asphalt 8 however I am unable to download them.I face no difficulties in downloading small apps and games but the 'error while downloading' shows up every time I try to download a large sized game.The downloading begins initially and this one time even went upto 80% but then it stops and the error flashes over and over again every time.

I have now come across the second update where I am unable to download it because of a lack of wifi. I downloaded Motorola Device Manager on my PC after being prompted today and it told me there was no update found, but my current software is "NA". I am not sure how to solve this issue. I have talked to AT&T and they want me to pay the $100 to get the phone replaced, but as I am eligible or an upgrade in a month or so I feel that is a waste of money.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is my first smartphone and I'm an Android noob. I spent an hour on Google searching how to properly transfer media to Android devices and tried different things but to no use.
I have the 32GB model and it's unrooted/stock with no sim card installed yet. I just wanted to try some videos, music, and pictures to get a feel for the screen and speakers. My micro USB cord is fine and when it's plugged in the PC I can see the media is in the MXPE's folders and taking up space. I turn the phone on and off, try putting them on different folders but no matter I can't find it. I removed a file called .nomedia but that didn't work. I tried transfer through both MTP and PTP but no go. It appears Android is keeping them hidden from me.
I'm completely unable to use any of my personal ringtones that are on my SD in facebook messenger, they just don't show up I've got them in the right folders as far as I know and all my other devices worked fine, I put my SD card in my phone as phone memory when it asked and now I cannot access my internal memory with astro or any other file explorer so I'm unable to move these ringtones to my internal memory to test there... Every other program shows all my ringtones this one doesn't....
View 24 Replies View RelatedI have Straight Talk, and need to adjust my APN settings so I'll get high speed data. I know what the correct settings are.
The problem is that I need to change MVNO type and MVNO value, but they're both grayed out, so I'm unable to tap on them to change them. MVNO type is grayed out and set to GID and MVNO value is grayed out and set to deff. I need to change them both to 'not set'.
I called Motorola, they were useless- kept telling me to make sure cellular data was enabled. I looked at my old phone (a Nexus 5) and MVNO type isn't grayed out on it.
I was using the "Post to Facebook" feature on Moto X 2nd Gen and was unable to post using my voice. It would get to the part that would confirm my post and ask if I wanted to post I would say "Yes" than it would "Posting Status Update" than "Something went wrong please try again". I've tried logging out of facebook than back in to no avail.
