Why are my contact pictures constantly disappearing? I go into edit contact, add a gallery picture to a contact, save, then at some point in the future, the contact picture is gone.

I keep going into the gallery and selecting contact pictures and saving them, they show up for awhile and then disappear.

Never had this problem with my HTC. Even if you take a pic with your phone, you can't attach it to a contact.

On the phone I added a picture to a contact. Later, I added notes to the contact on Outlook, and the picture on the phone disappeared. What's up with the pictures?

I check my google calendar which is syncing fine and see all of my past appointements, however they are gone from the phone. I've tranferred the files to both Mac and PC and neither have worked. View 2 Replies View RelatedIam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. I am just wondering if there is anything else that could be draining the battery or a way to fix it?

Needless to say, the piano app that I use.( for jotting down quick ideas, I am a music director at my church and a songwriter) is nearly unusable because piano often uses more than two fingers. I know that the hacking community has been able to enable up to 8 points if multitouch. Is this going to be enabled for this phone? I would hate to get rid of it since I love everything else about it, and have no problems at all with any functionality. ( aside from that whole pesky multitouch thing).

Now this new one has started and I don't know if it's a bug that I can fix or not, randomly it loses the contact name associations when I open up the text message inbox. It just comes up with the phone numbers, the contacts are still there and when I reset the phone it goes back to normal.

I'm not sure if it's related but recently here phone screen starts to dim and flicker if charging or left alone for a little while.

So i just updates to the gingerbread 4.5.91 update on my Atrix and now when i go to change a picture from contacts, edit contact, press pic icon... i cant choose what part of the picture i want to use it just uses the whole picture but this way the picture isnt so blurry... if i go to my gallery select a pic, hit the menu button, set as, contact icon i can select what part of the pic i wanna use but then its very blurry... and the original pic is clear as can be..

When I'm in my contacts and "edit" them to place a picture I have in my gallery, there's no option for selecting the exact face or spot you want before finalizing the perfect fit for the contact you just edited. My Droid X does this and it is a nice feature. Am I mising this somewhere on the Bionic?

I've tried telling it to sync, but the pictures remain the same. Also, with some of my contacts it lists their Twitter name as their name, even if I type in a new name. Is there some way to set a default name? When I'm searching for someone to call/text, I don't normally think of them by their Twitter name, so it can make some people difficult to find. Other people come up by the names I set them to. Not sure what I did differently there.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using hosted Exchange server 2010 for many years and have around 500 contacts with pictures in my contact book. Once I receive Motorola Photon 4G same as on my prior Epic 4G I sync to exchange account and all my contacts with pictures was there. I do not even yet sync to any other account. I need to reflush my phone, using regular stock software I did stock reset (factory default with erasing data from both storage cards) and once phone back I again link it to my exchange account. It resync all contacts as expected, but this time without any pictures. I did not make any changes on exchange server between 2 sync. I can still see picture on exchange webinterface, ipad and outlook. I repeat delete, reset and resync on my android multiple time, I went to exchange webinterface and delete link to this phone account. No pictures, whatever I do can not get it back, but I know it was working. I installed for fun exchange by touchdown and it sync all ocntacts with pictures, problem I do not like it as it keep contact and calendar in it own database and it not easy to integrate with other apps.

I think the problem has something to do with Verizon Backup Assistant +. If I go in manually for the contact and put the contact photo in, then I can see them in Handcent SMS. I have many contacts, and I really don't want to do this manually.
