I downloaded the facebook mobileapp from facebook when I signed up for facebook mobile. It appears to have written over or replaced the factory loaded app. Can the cache be cleared and the program be corrected without a factory reset?

Today I recieved an Authorization Error notification and since then I have been unable to use that yahoo mail account on my messaging app. I have tried removing the account and adding it again and also changing the password via my PC but it is still giving me an error message on my Bionic saying "Login to the account failed , please try again." View 2 Replies View RelatedSo my turbo is set up nice, but when I decided to add in my google play music account, after entering my email it says it cant communicate with google servers. I tried removing my google account and readding to the phone, but that didnt work either. 2 step verification is not turned on with my account as well.
Apparently all I had to do was click on my email that was on the main screen. Telling it to add an existing probably confused it? But anyways, now Im curious because my google music settings show NO authorized devices. Is my phone not authorized anymore? My old phone was on there, but I deleted it from the list, now no devices are there....I mean, Im listening to music with it, and I can buy songs, so Im confused. Or is it a moot point because I only use a STANDARD account?
Had my eletrify for two weeks and everything was working great. Synced the Music Player with my iTunes thru MML and was all working fine. Yesterday I was playing music thru the library etc. No problems. Today - When I go to "Music" - it errors out and says "Sorry! Application Music (in process com.motorola.music) is not responding. I have tried rebooting, closing the app, re-syncing to iTunes with MML, etc. But no luck. I can go directly to my SD Card file and play a particular song and the music player works. However I no longer have a library or the ability to use playlists etc.

I've deleted the widget and reinstalled, changed all settings, even logged into FB and changed/updated the App settings there. Is there a MOTOBLUR outage? View 13 Replies View RelatedI'm probably going to have to take this in to the local US Cellular store to see if they can figure out what is going on. I tried sending texts to three different individuals this morning and all are not going through. Initially I was using Go SMS Pro as my default SMS program. Thinking something may be messed up with that program, I switched my default SMS program to the phone's Text Messaging program. Still cannot send or receive any messages. I am on a business plan (which my wife is on as well). She is receiving and sending texts fine. I tried sending her a test text, and it tells me "Message Not Sent". I had her send a test text to me. It shows that it sends fine on her end, but I never get anything.
Is there any error log I can look at to see what's going on? I have powered my phone off and on 3 times already this morning and that hasn't fixed the issue. Any suggestions or am I just going to have to take it in? I hate doing that because they're just going to do a Factory Reset I'm sure since they aren't too good on the technical side of things.
My music player only works some of the time and other times it gives me an error message. Also when I set ringtones from any music on my phone(ones I bluetoothed, ones downloaded from apps on the market, and also ones I copy and pasted from my computer) they will only work sometimes. Other times they seem to reset themselves and go back to a default ringtones or say unknown ringtone and will not work at all. The only ringtones that work all the time are the ringtones that came on the phone. My friend is having the same problem and the tech at US Cellular said he has had couple people come in with the same problem but they can't seem to find a solution. Also when the ringtones/music player is not working the videos in the "Help Center" on my phone will not work either. There seems to be some kind of glitch. I just want to be sure that there isn't some kind of setting wrong or something before I take this phone back and get something else because I would love to keep this phone, but it's not looking very promising.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. I am just wondering if there is anything else that could be draining the battery or a way to fix it?

I have my Facebook account setup under the Facebook app and I am able to use Facebook as an option when I share photos but I am looking for the ability to have Facebook contacts show in the Contacts. Needless to say, the piano app that I use.( for jotting down quick ideas, I am a music director at my church and a songwriter) is nearly unusable because piano often uses more than two fingers. I know that the hacking community has been able to enable up to 8 points if multitouch. Is this going to be enabled for this phone? I would hate to get rid of it since I love everything else about it, and have no problems at all with any functionality. ( aside from that whole pesky multitouch thing).

I installed the Facebook app from the Market, and now when I go to accounts, and click Add, I see 2 facebook icons (one produces the annoying Motorola terms & conditions screen and I suspect is tied into Blur somehow), the other is clearly the Facebook account that goes with the Facebook app, but when I click that one, nothing happens.
