Is there a way to get the Widget selection to read correctly (the text appears to be white on a white background)? I know there is a way to do this using methods not supported by these forums but I would like to avoid that if could.

View 3 Replies View RelatedICS lacks two important features: 1) stand-alone native toggles for GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, airplane mode, etc. (lack of these was one of the reasons i returned the galaxy nexus and replaced it with the Maxx) and 2) a clean easy way of toggling between 3G/4G. Im aware of the LTE on/off app from the market but it's not as clean, simple, and easy as the way you could toggle between CDMA and LTE before. Hoping motorola adds these back someday....

Then for some unknown reason the number would dissapear. Then again reapear, and disapear, and reapear, I think you get the picture. Needless to say this is becoming frustrating. It has been two months and I just can't seem to get this number to be accurate.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Razr XT912. All of a sudden, I'm not receiving any text messages!! Messaging worked fine when I first got the phone (a few weeks ago), then a couple of days ago, there was a huge delay in getting texts (of a few hours to an entire day), and now, no text messages whatsoever (I know for sure that three separate people have texted me a few times and I've gotten nothing!). I dont' think it's a service issue, as I move around quite a lot and the messages haven't ever arrived (plus, I called my provider and they said everything was fine on their end, but I suppose that's what they always say).
Not sure what the problem is. I haven't made any big changes to the phone since when I received text messages without any problem. Calls/e-mails/updates/apps/etc.still working fine, but curiously, my weather widget stopped updating about a week ago, and still refuses to work, even though my coverage is allegedly fine.Ideas? I'm desperate as most of my communication is done through text.or what it's worth, I live in China and my service provider is China Telecom. The phone has been unlocked and rooted
I have been having problems receiving/sending text messages since I got my Droid Razr in January 2012. I ramdonly don't receive all of my text messages or the ones that I sent out....I never had this problem with any of my previous DROID phones. I got my phone replaced twice, sim card, factory reset, etc....still having the same issue. My data connectivity keeps dropping as well. Has anyone else experience this same issue with this particular phone.

The 2nd time (same day) I hit cancel after I heard the message and since then it will not pop up and read me the message anymore. The only topics I can find on this are how to turn this feature off, I like this feature and want to know how to turn it back ON.
View 5 Replies View RelatedHave noticed that if I add a new widget from the market, the only way to get it to show up in the app tray is to power off/on the phone. I check the Apps Manager, and they are there, but not in the Apps/Widget tray until the power off/on sequence.
Do we need a refresh option in the tray or is this an isolated issue with my phone. Has anyone else experienced this.
Clock will randomly flip from digital to analog and tapping on new SMS notification will bring me to the write a new message screen, not the message the widget is notifying me about.It is not a problem on my RAZR M which is perplexing.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI've noticed that after the ICS update, newly downloaded and installed widgets from Google Play don't show up in the Widgets list until I reboot. Not a critical bug, but annoying nonetheless. I have noticed this on my Acer A500 and A100 tablets on ICS as well, so I assume it's an OS problem, not hardware-specific. Wondering if anyone has found a workaround, and would also like Moto to be aware of this so that it can be corrected in the (hopefully) next update.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got the ICS update, but now my smart actions cannot control notification volume...? Also, I cannot link volumes anymore, so the volume buttons do nothing for me anymore. Turn down ringer, sure....but then notifications and alerts just blast through without having to manually adjust each one! Why was this removedAlso, since the update, the emal widget only allows you to select either one account to display, or all combined?? Why? I have 6 accounts...combined view is just a mess. On GB, you could select the account right there on the widget. Now, you have to go into the email, then switch it. Even then, the widget reverts to the first one you set up. This is annoying and I do not get why this would be removed?That is the same for the news widget and the social media app...where did they go? They were better than any other widgets out there and now they are gone...unless I am just looking in the wrong place?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI put the Motorola toggle widgets on my home screen (e.g. toggle data, wifi, bluetooth, GPS). I rebooted and they disappeared. I tried to re-add them. I can't. I can add toggle widgets from the Android Market. I can't re-add the Motorola widgets, but also, the space where they should be is not available to add another widget either. i.e. I've now got a dead/unusable space on my home screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI finally got my phone set up the way I wanted it using nova launcher and some icon themes. The first thing I tested was the tap to wake/sleep as I was disappointed to find out doesn't work.
I'd be willing to get a different launcher if it works with the tap feature but my first choice is to get it working with nova.
Ok I have been trying to figure this one out for a few days. I installed Nova launcher and for some reason I cant seem to find the stock messaging app in Nova. It's there in the stock launcher but nowhere to be found in Nova.

Am very happy with the screens and icons, etc. but ever since I did that I can't use google maps gps. What I try to put in an address to ask for directions it says "turn by turn navigation is only available in these location modes: high accuracy (or) device only" Then you have the option of hitting ignore, which means you still don't get directions, or settings, which takes you to the location section of settings. Location is set to on, but I can't see any place where "high accuracy" is an option and don't remember this ever being an issue with my S3 - which is why I think this is related to the Nova Launcher?how to fix it. I'll uninstall the launcher if I have to but wondering if there is an alternative.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen you opened up the app drawer there used to be a tab on top for "apps" and another for "widgets" and if you scrolled through your apps, the next swipe to the right took you to your widgets. Now there's no tab for widgets and if you scroll to the end of your apps you just loop around to the beginning of them again. So where did my widgets go?
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhenever I set a wallpaper on my Moto X while using Nova the buttons are in a black bar and it looks like they aren't "on screen." But setting a wallpaper while on the Google Now launcher resolves this problem. It's kind of annoying to have to switch launchers just to change a wallpaper.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI happened to look at the memory section in settings (6.0.1) and noticed my Nexus 6P (not rooted) using an average of 2.3GB RAM within the last 3 hours - 650MB of which was Android OS and Nova closely behind at 350MB - not exactly lightweight. I haven't noticed any issues performance wise (so what's the problem you might be thinking) but my Nexus 6 never used that much for Nova. In fact, with a similar setup I have on the Nexus 6P, I would sit around 1.5GB on the Nexus 6.
I will reinstall and test again but 350MB seems to be a lot in my opinion (which isn't a technical one)...
Having issue where nova launcher "crashes" becomes inactive when coming out of sleep or clicking on the home button? I have had it since upgrading to lollipop. I have the PE version and I just got moto yo send me a code for a new phone but they are showing my walnut backed version as "unavailable" so I'm not too excited about my options.
I've been emailing with teslacoil about this issue but they can't seem to reproduce... I've done a recovery and cleared partition but haven't reset since post lollipop upgrade.
