I ran the update on my phone this morning and now I cannot get my settings back to what they were before. After the update my texting language changed to Spanish. I was able to switch my text and swype language back to English, but my dictionary, all my help keys, and my swype help is in Spanish. Anyone know how to get everything back to English?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI got the upgrade to 2.3.3 on Saturday morning.I am having one issue.I use the email imap client that is built into the operating system to access my work email.I have known a lot of users to have issues with that client, but so far I haven't had any problems.It is still working in 2.3.3 but now the account is not listed in the accounts page.I tried to add it again, but it says the account is already there.I also went into the email app and cleared the data.It did deleted all of the mail but still would not let me recreate the account.When I started the email app again, it downloaded all of my old messages.At this point I am unable to change any of the settings for the account.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my Droid Turbo, and while I was setting it up I vaguely remember seeing a settings screen for the command center widget. I didn't really understand yet what the command center was at that time, so I didn't change any of the settings. Now, however, I'm trying to get back to see what setting changes are possible and for the life of me can't figure out how to get to the settings screen.
When I tap on an open area of the command center near the top left (right under where the target GPS icon is displayed), a screen opens up for a VERY BRIEF quarter of a second and the top says "Command Center", as if that is going to open the settings screen. But then it immediately changes to the weather detail screen.
how do I get back to it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI live in South Korea, and when the phone installs MOTOCAST, it is in Korean. When I download the MOTOCAST client from the web, it does an IP autodetect and installs the Korean client. As far as I can tell, and I have done a lot of probing, I cannot change the language of the program in the system. There doesn't seem to be a primary options menu at all. My Korean is pretty bad, and this makes this valuable program difficult to use.

I have just got myself an XOOM 3G, from Saturn electronics here in Germany. This is an device witout contract, and I am using it with my O2 data contract for 3G connectivity.
I was expecting that I would be able to change the OS language from the Standarad German to English... Huummph it seems not to be the case.
It looks like from my investigations that I will need to reinstall the Android OS, because The only language in German android in German SO my question is where do I find the download of the version of Android that has English as a selectable language? I've seen this issue covered in a few non-motorola forums. Despite the fact the I have the ringer turned on, a ringtone selected and the volume turned up, I don't get a ring during incoming calls.Powering the phone off and on seems to be a temporary fix, but (according to the non-motorola forums), the issue may have something to do with a smart battery profile (something I did not enable) and can only be permanently fixed by a factory reset.If that's what it takes, I'm more likely to return the phone and find a model without this bug.

I've checked the "Use static IP" box and entered all of the settings (ip address, gateway, dns, etc.) but my phone still keeps trying to use DHCP to get settings from the router and eventually fails. How do I set a static IP address on this phone? This option worked on my old Nexus S 4G phones with Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich. I don't want to use up any more of my data on Verizon than I have to.

When in a screen, it will start scrolling on its own, up and down. When typing, it will randomly change languages or in mid-text it will automatically position itself at the beginning of the text.
