Motorola Droid Bionic :: Any Way To Download And Install Manually Last 2 Updates?
Feb 9, 2012I haven't been pushed updates 5.9.901 or 5.9.902 from Verizon. Is there anyway I can manually install these? I have tried going into settings and pulling them down but it says my phone is up to date even though I have 5.5.893 currently.

Nov 18, 2012Often during the day I go long periods in which I know I won't be using my phone for anything but sending or receiving email. I am always in a 4G zone however I would prefer to manually set to 3G during these times to preserve the battery. Is there any way to manually set to 3G?
When I travel to 3G only areas I also notice that when I am in a 3G only zone even though signal seems adequate (-73 dbm) and I see 3 or 4 bars next to 3G signal I often cannot connect to internet. Why doesn't my phone like 3G?

Jul 2, 2012Ever since the ICS update my battery life is 2x worse than before on Gingerbread. I have noticed on here that I am not the only one with this issue. Is there and options I can do to improve battery life? I noticed there is no way to toggle back and forth betwen 3G and 4G and background data cant be turned off now. I have also noticed they got rid of the task manager that actually worked and force quit the apps. I had to force quit ever app manually ever since the update. Every app was running in the background. I got this phone for the extended battery life and if I dont use the phone all day and by the end of the night I have 20% battery left, something is wrong. ICS has a lot of great features, but if I had a chance to un-install ICS I would.

Aug 18, 2011I had the number changed on my phone. Everyting worked until then. I can connect in all modes except for USB Mass Storage. I have updated my drivers, enabled USB debugging, etc. It works on another Windows 7 computer, but not on my main laptop. No matter what I do, it will not find the Mass Storage drivers. Everything else works great. I have to run in Mass Storage mode to get to some files for a work app.

Apr 24, 2012I had to get a new DSL router with security and motocast stopped working on my desktop. It still works on my wireless laptop. I uninstalled the motocast application on the desktop and re-installed it and it fried my internet connection settings on the desktop. I can get them back using a windows restore point but each time I try to reinstall Motocast it kills my internet connection settings again. It was working great before the new modem was setup. I don't understand why installing Motocast would alter my computers internet connection?
