View 15 RepliesI've had great success opening pdf, Word, wav, m4a, Powerpoint, and videos using Zumocast on my Bionic. But every time that I try to open a jpg file, I simply get the twirling blue icon. I've let it "do it's thing" for as much as 15 min with no success.Zumocast is on a Windows Vista PC.

View 1 Replies View RelatedZumoCast is setup on both my Win7 PC and my Bionic. I can see most of my many files with the Bionic however when I try to view the files in the player the screen just goes black, like it's trying to play the files but nothing ever happens. Then when I press the back button, I get this msg "Error During video Playback" ZumoCast was not able to playback this file; it might not be in a supported format.

Is there a way that I can add my C: drive as a folder so that I can have access to all files on my hard drive?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm working with an XP machine and am always getting an immediate "failed" download when trying to get .asf files from my machine. I'd hate to have to convert all of these files. They do show up on the Bionic's option for stream or download and to begin transfer but just fail. Is there a way to get this to work.

Although my WMV formatted Videos play fine on my home computer, I had no problem transferring them to my Bionic SD Card. Rather than playing, a small blue box opens at the bottom, which says "unable to open this type of file". Confirmed that the pre-installed Player should play MP4 and WMV. I tell them about my error message, and they recommend downloading the VLC Media Player (which works great on all files on my home computer, even on AVI and FLV files). Still won't play, so they refer me to Motorola, but before I call them, I also download, the seemingly popular MoboPlayer and MX Video Player.
The Motorola second level of support tells me to convert them from WMV to WMV, although my experience with Motorola's Tech support is that I sense that due to our mother tongues, it might be my fault for not parsing my words carefully enough. Feel free to contribute your WMV (or MP4 experience) to this thread, as the last advice that the Motorola Level 2 Tech Support gave me was to go to "setting", then "privacy" and then "restore data reset".
I have a droid bionic. I have recently had problems with ZumoCast app (i.e. not connecting). I uninstalled the app and re-installed it. Now, I'm getting a message that says "Unsupported Device - This device is currently not supported. check for updates at [URL]"
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I load up a video on ZumoCast it will start playing and then randomly pause every 30sec to a min. This is not buffering since I can see the wheel turning when it is doing this, it is a straight up pause that i then have to hit play to resume the video. I have not tested this on wifi recently, I last used it on wifi a month ago with this pausing only happening 1-2 times in a 40 min video, but it is deff happening more frequently on both 3g and 4g and is very annoying. Is there a setting I have overlooked or is this a bug in the software

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have the Bionic and have loaded Zumocast on my laptop and my desktop. My desktop music library is a few thousand song files in one folder. I get to listen to them using the random button on my Bionic with no problems. I have started Ripping all my music CDs to my laptop. They are stored in the Music file, the a sub file for each artist, then a sub album for each album, then the individual files. I must open each folder down to the album folder to listen to my laptop music. This means I can not use random and listen to all my files of all albums. My question is obviously, How can I listen to all the files without manually opening each folder to access them? Can Zumocast do this, or can you suggest a way for me to group all the music in one big playlist to access with Zumocast?
View 2 Replies View RelatedZumocast works great for my music and pictures. Just can't get my video files to play. The videos were taken with a Sony HD video camera. The file extension of the videos are .m2ts. how I can get these files to play on my Bionic?

How long does the "internal, acidental, unofficial, don't install this" leak thing go on before the soak tests start? Not being a jerk, but new to the moto way of doing things. View 9 Replies View RelatedI am new to this forum, I just have a quick question. I have a desktop computer running windows 7 with zumocast installed on it. I have accessed my files (mainly movies) from another windows computer just fine. I just got a macbook air for christmas and i tried to access my movies through zumocast on my mac but none of the files showed up. I dont want to put all the files on my new laptop because it only has a 120 SSD installed. Is it possible for me to access those files on my desktop from my mac?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy only "complaint" is that whenever a call comes in or when I make a call, it always has it on the phonespeaker and not over the car dock audio connected to the radio. View 10 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know of any surefire way to transfer files to and from the Bionic to a windows 7 PC?
I have been using Zumocast, but that's only a one way deal. You can stream and download files from PC onto the Bionic, but not vice versa. Also, I tried to download a 1.4 gig mp4 file but it doesn't fully download, and makes my notification area on my Bionic force close and the whole phone just wigs out and requires a reboot. So Zumocast needs to do some updates in order to support large file transfer.
Anyway, I am looking for a way to transfer files from my phone to my computer(s) wirelessly. I don't always have my USB cable around.
Im having the same issue as a lot of other people (so i read). Mine has progressively gotten worse. My data connection shows active (sometimes it doesnt) but I cannot transfer data. After multiple restarts/battery pulls, i have data connection but NO app will transfer data except the web browser and dolphin. Even Gmail will not sync. So i can surf the web, but cant check my gmail app, pageonce, etc, etc. Wifi/bluetooth work fine. MOST of the time I can still text / make calls but not always.
I am hesitant to do a factory reset as the last time i did this, it did not change the problem and i was stuck with nothing because i had no data connection to connect to my google account with (nor wifi, i was on vacation).
I can get a 4G signal rarely in home. At work and mobile I am usually 4G.I expect to be on 4G for a few years (5G anytime soon?) and was thinking of spending $$$ on a Wilson repeater to pick up 4G with a directional antenna and amplifier for home: url...I am a licensed Amateur Radio operator and the principals involved seemed sound to me.Also, does anyone know how to put the Bionic into Field Test Mode?
