Jul 28, 2011My x10 mini , updated to 2.1 version, connects to a nearby wifi accesspoint, remains connected for a few seconds, then discconnects and interrupts web browser, gtalk and any other network application. It reconnects the network automatically after a short while. Other wifi phones and PCs use this access point with no problems. I've checked my phone in an airport, a coffeshop and two university networks and came up with the same issue

Jul 3, 2010My mobile is Sony Zperia Z3 Dual (D6633). A few days ago I started to experience issues in Wi-Fi. Is keeps reconnecting. I mean I turn on the Wi-Fi it shows the available networks connect to the one of them and than after no more than one second it disconnects and search for new network again. And than like this in a loop.
I tried to update to news version (23.4.A.1.232) and repair using PCC. Also I am experiencing the same issue in safe mode. Is there anything more I can do instead of sending mobile to the warranty? Right now I am not able to use Wi-Fi at all.

Feb 5, 2012My daughter (who lives in another town) and I just switched from Samsung Mesmerize to Electrify phones. We both have D-Link DIR-655 routers in our homes. Although we had no problem using wifi with our old phones, the Electrify searches, connects and then immediately disconnects. I've spent hours checking out the router software as the admin, checking on line to see if others have reported this and I've tried every combination of options on the Electrify. We're both running Win7 and both use our routers successfully on other wireless devices in our homes.

Nov 13, 2011For whatever reason I can't get the stock e-mail app to sync my G-mail account correctly, unless I use the manual sync. It shows every 15 minutes (not thrilled with that either) but still won't do it. I really like the stock e-mail app with the gesture swipe too and just the general look of it. How can the g-mail app continuously sync and not this one? I traveled abroad always with the mobile network off and just using the wifi and it worked perfectly. Only when came back to the U.S. and inserted my AT&T SIM card and registered the phone with them, the wifi did not work any more, even though it connects to all the available wifi networks.I have tried everything: re-registering the phone with the previous foreign SIM card; reset the phone to factory defaults; but it did not solve the problem.

Aug 16, 2012Just got a Sprint Admiral, paired my bluetooth with it easily enough (Blueant T1), but at random, the phone will disconnect and reconnect bluetooth.I have actually watched the bluetooth icon go dark, then light back up so I know it is not an issue with the earpiece itself. It is becoming very annoying, and talking to others who have this phone, they have reported the same issue with other bluetooth earpieces.

Google Nexus 5 :: Phone Wifi Only Connects When Screen Is On
Dec 29, 2015I have this problem for some time now (at least since the marshmallow update). If I move my Nexus 5 to a different place, far from the current Wi-Fi AP, it does not connect to the nearest saved AP, it only does that if I wake up the screen.
The Wi-Fi works properly when the screen is off, I still get the notifications and all, I just have to stay connected to the same AP. I have tried everything to find what is the problem, but I can't find it.
I did a factory reset, it was working again, but when I did the first time Google account login, it started again, even on safe mode.
I thought I corrected it by doing another reset and not recovering my account , but when installing some apps it started again.
Every time I think I found the app that causes the problem and uninstall it, the Wi-Fi problem eventually returns
and I don't know what to do more.
What I have found out is that even uninstalling the app I think is the culprit, the Wi-Fi only works again properly if I reboot the phone, so maybe I have not found the app, and the Wi-Fi only works properly because I rebooted the phone?
The apps I have on my phone are the same I have in my Nexus 7 (2013), and with all those apps, the Wi-Fi works properly on the Nexus 7.
Is there anyway to know if is the phones fault, or some app (that makes the Wi-Fi not work properly on the Nexus 5,but not in the Nexus 7)?
