Motorola Defy :: Create And Rename A New Folder, It Comes Back To The Default Name "Folder", After A System Reboot?
Oct 8, 2011Every time I create and rename a new folder, it comes back to the default name "Folder", after a system reboot.Any suggestions to fix this issue ? I think it is related to MotoBlur, since I did not find anything related on other phones that don't use MotoBlur.

Sep 3, 2011I am using Motorola Defy with Android. Yesterday i have accidently deleted the download folder for web downloads in which all the downloads from web app like pics, music etc was suppose to go. Now the pics etc are not getting download and show error. Previously everything was working fine. Before deleting that folder, i used to long press on the pic and options page used to open and from there i select save image, now the option page do come, i select save image, the image try to download then it donot open and a message says your phone is out of memory.

Jan 10, 2012My photon does not read the Micro SD card. This problem has been there for 2 months. I never had a need to use the Micro SD card so i did not bother.
This seemed to happen since the last software update. Before that, it worked fine.The phone simply does not recognize any Micro SD cards. I tried 2 different micro sds and the same thing happened.
The buttons where it says"Mount SD card" are always disabled(shaded). And the phone does not let me erase data from SD card either.I tried the reset from Privacy>Factory Reset. Same thing happened. It reset the phone but it still does not read Micro SD.

The phone does recognize the micro sd card and I have looked around and found nothing besides hooking it up directly to the computer but I don't want to go that route because I don't have the data cable and cant get one because where I am they don't deliver or sell the cable.

Jun 2, 2011So I love my Defy (still running 2.1) and have had no problems since I got it in January. I took some amazing pictures of the sunset last night and my camera and gallery both worked fine. I went to show them off this morning and all of my pictures and videos are gone! There are some random pictures of what look like arrows from internet pages, but nothing I had every seen before. I went to the TMO store and they put my sd card in another phone but they still weren't there. I am phone-stupid when it comes to this kind of stuff, but I know for a fact I did not delete them or do anything that could have deleted them. What's weird is everything else on my sd card like music and files are still there, and my homescreen still has my picture that was in the gallery Asoftech Photo Recovery, but as a single mom nursing student, $30 is hard to come by at the moment. I would use a free program but I don't know which ones are safe.
