View 2 RepliesWe've upgraded successfully our two US Moto X Pure Edition devices to Marshmallow yesterday. After upgrade completed, the numbers of calling contact are not being recognized anymore, although these contact exists and saved in android's Contact app, and backed up in Gmail accounts. Also, all incoming and outgoing calls in the call log are not recognized, although they were recognized before the upgrade.
This is very critical for us, since one of the phones is used as a business phone and it's crucial for us to know who's calling.
I bought a phone from someone and cant get any contacts on my phone I have them on my sim card but I keep on getting that message.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhenever I receive incoming calls, the caller, and even the phone number, doesn't appear to me, that is, the caller always appears as unknown. This means that I don't know who my missed calls are from if they don't get to voicemail. This isn't because of privacy settings on the other phones, I know, because some of the people have public numbers

View 13 Replies View RelatedI would like to start off by saying that I DO like my Cliq.I noticed problems with my News Widget. It would stop updating.I tried taking the battery out, etc. After some searching, I realized I wasn't running the most updated software. So, after some challenges with the update, I finally got my phone updated. That was followed by a total reset. Not happy about that, but seemed the only way to go in order to work out some kinks with the upgrade. So now I am trying to reset all of my personalizations. Now this is where my most recent problems are.How do I set ringtones for my contacts? Each way I have tried only lets me choose from the defaults or factory installed tones.

My CLIQ has died. (radios and wifi) How can I export my Contacts to either the SD card or to my PC?
None of the radios work, so export has to be either to the SD card or via USB to a PC. Installing any apps to do this unfortunately has to be via the same route as well.
I recently turned my phone off and removed the battery and sim card because the phone froze. When the phone came back on my contacts were changed. Each contact was linked to 1 telephone number plus the correct number. Also there were several contacts that have my yahoo email contacts linked to them
View 7 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know why my phone does not register the contacts from the address book on incoming calls? It only happens sometimes and it seems like it is always after I connect it to my PC.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI manged to delete all my contacts including the ones on the SIM card
Now after recovery I have 100+ contacts under the T-mobile account/group, but none in the phone address book or the SIM card. I cannot figure out how to copy all my T-mobile contacts to the SIM card. Looks like you can only copy the phone address book contacts to the SIM card.
Is there a way to restrict incoming calls to just those entries in my Contacts?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got this phone from someone who upgraded up. If I only want to use it for calls and texting and nothing else, should I update from its current system version 1.6 / Firmware version 1.5?If I wanted to do this manually, are system and firmware updates done separately and where are the download pages to do it manually? There are threads talking about how updates slowed down CLIQ MB200 phones. Do they slow down the basic functions of this phone? I see there are Android platform versions all the way up to 3.2. Is version 2.1 the last version compatible with MB200?Some threads compare updating this phone to installing Windows 7 or Vista on older computers - they would slow down basic functions on them so it's really not worth it to update. Is that comparison true when it comes to this first Android phone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI upgraded from the Cliq a few months ago. So I noticed when I link contacts together that it doesn't always keep the name of the contact that I open. It'll change it. Example: I open the contact "Dad" and then link another contact for him "John Doe" and then it will change the name from Dad (which I opened first) to John Doe. Why is it doing that? It did not do that when linking contacts in my Cliq

I get NO INTERNET CONNECTION at all.I can't even get my phone to be recognized through the Motorola Troubleshooter now when it IS plugged into my laptop via USB ....Hoping to avoid a reset, even though I have everything synched through my Blur acct and Gmail
View 4 Replies View RelatedI inherited a Cliq 2 from my father-in-law and I have a T-Mobile sim in it right now. When I look at the system version, it is saying 1.1.28. From all the info that I've read, the latest version is 1.1.30. I've tried doing a system update from the phone, but it tells me that I am up to date.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe screen has been cracked recently, so my brother took it upon himself to buy me a Cliq (MB200) from someone off CraigsList for my birthday. I am not sure if this is the route I would had gone but it's not like he can take it back now. Luckily it is a Cliq with a T-Mobile emblem on it, which is my carrier, so there shouldnt be any problems. And it appears to be in excellent condition.OK, time to transfer the SIM card.First, we cannot get the newly purchased Cliq to recgognize my SIM card. It is an old T-Mo SIM card that has been transferred from A Samsung T-719 purchased in 2007 to a BB Pearl to a BB Curve and then to the Cliq2 bought in 2011. I do have newer SIM cards that have never been opened or activated, so that could be an option. But the SIM works fine in my Cliq2. But in the newly purchased Cliq we immediately get the "Please insert SIM card" message on the screen.Yes, we did do a factory reset and then re-tested the SIM.Wi-Fi works. We were curious if the SIM Card can't be read until we go through the Motoblur registration. Also, can the Motoblur info just be transferred from the Cliq2 to the SIM Card or SD Card so I don't have to login on the newly purchased Cliq?I forgot my Motoblur password and it is registered with an inactive email address, so a password recovery via email is not an option. Should I just open a new Motoblur account? Will it let me connect the same emails and social media accounts as the old Motoblur account?
View 5 Replies View RelatedAt random my Photon will not receive incoming phone calls. For instance, today this happened twice and the calls went directly to voicemail. Both calls came from other cell phones. This has happened a few times before while at work. I've had this phone for about 10 days now. System version 45.2.7, Android version 2.3.4, Build number 4.5.1A-1SUN-154_6.PDATE: 10-02-11: Again, phone would answer calls today at work. After 2 rings would go to voicemail. I have tried removing the battery and restarting but not luck
View 5 Replies View RelatedNo incoming audio on calls--speaker only. Silent mode is off, volume is turned up.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have tried multiple ring tones, and the incoming calls only ring once. This is my 2nd Triumph and this one ends in software/firmware 038.
BTW, it seems like people with software/firmware 039 has more issues with their phones, such as flickering and random reboot.
Yesterday I was next to my phone at the time two new calls came in. No ring, no notification of a call, nothing. Then two voice mail messages came in - no alert, however. I happened to pick up the phone to make a call and saw the VM notification on the bar.Called the callers - they said the phone went straight to VM as if it was not turned on or locked on a tower. The phone was in a place that I use it constantly - I mean I would be on the phone for several minutes while driving this area - strong signal always.
View 13 Replies View RelatedUpon Receiving an incoming call my phone rings & vibrates - but will not display any alert on the screen (or lock screen) that there is an incoming call. If I unlock the phone as it's ringing the normal home screen is displayed and after a ring or two I receive the below "Mobile Data not available" prompt. Pressing ok results in the phone going back to the homescreen with once again, no further dialog to answer/ignore/mute the call (nothing in the notification bar either). Eventually the call will make it to voicemail as i can't answer it, and i get a prompt missed call notification.
Items i've checked so far: disabled apps - re-enabled to make sure nothing got zapped that's interfering.Mobile data is enabled under settings.OTA Update was applied & Phone works fine otherwise, solid 4G service in populated area....Note the missed call notification icon is displayed from a previous call when i was trouble shooting:
My Turbo suddenly is not receiving incoming calls. I can call put fine, get texts and am getting vms of people trying to call.
When you try calling my phone from another device it rings on there end and phone does nothing on mine.
Ever since my phone was updated to ICS, I've noticed that once in a while (it's probably happened 5 times now) I can not answer an incoming phone call. Usually it's while my phone is in the Droid 4 car dock, but it has also happened without it being connected to anything. What happens is my phone will ring either through the phone speakers and my bluetooth headset (if connected), but the phone "answer" screen will not pop up, and the phone doesn't respond to any type of input, which forces me to reboot my phone by holding down the power/volume down buttons. Once the phone boots back up, there is no record of who called me in the recent calls list, so hopefully they leave me a voicemail otherwise I have no idea who called me. After the first couple times this happened, I decided to perform a factory reset, hoping that this would fix the lag/freeze up issue, but it did not correct this problem. The only way that I can think of trying to minimize the occurrences of the phone freezing up/ running sluggishly would be to perform a reboot every couple days or so to clear up the memory.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got a CLN Razr a few weeks ago (came from a Bionic) and love the phone. One question that I can't seem to find an answer for though. I put the phone in vibrate mode and text, emails will vibrate. However, incoming calls will not vibrate, just silent. I checked the sound settings and Silent mode is set to vibrate. Any ideas on how to set the incoming calls to vibrate?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIf I leave my phone on a browser page or text message app or any other app, and the phone goes into standby / locked mode, when an incoming call comes in, I am unable to answer the call. Sometimes I can't unlock the phone (screen dead to touch), sometimes I can unlock but then still no screen, no call Answer button appears, but the phone is ringing.
Is it correct then, that one should never leave any app or browser open on the phone?
During Incoming and Outgoing Calls, I have to activate the speaker phone for the person on the other line to hear me. Is this an issue that I can resolve myself (settings or physical dust) or do I need to send my phone in?
