Whenever I receive incoming calls, the caller, and even the phone number, doesn't appear to me, that is, the caller always appears as unknown. This means that I don't know who my missed calls are from if they don't get to voicemail. This isn't because of privacy settings on the other phones, I know, because some of the people have public numbers
View 1 RepliesWe've upgraded successfully our two US Moto X Pure Edition devices to Marshmallow yesterday. After upgrade completed, the numbers of calling contact are not being recognized anymore, although these contact exists and saved in android's Contact app, and backed up in Gmail accounts. Also, all incoming and outgoing calls in the call log are not recognized, although they were recognized before the upgrade.
This is very critical for us, since one of the phones is used as a business phone and it's crucial for us to know who's calling.
Whenever a call. Comes immediately becomes missed call in single ring though I try to attend.

Turned in the phone for repairs, and **bleep** me the tab at the SIM was bright red. .
But that's in the upper left corner, the reject call thingie is in the bottom right corner. I will probably just get the phone back in same condition in like Xweeks since the red sticker.
The touchscreen works perfect during games and such and its not the blacks creen problem, it just rejects them calls!
Since the latest software uppdating, I cannot answer incoming calls. The phone is ringing but no botton for answering shows up.

But, if I'm texting at the time, although I can see the call notification I can't respond to it and the buttons disappear from the bottom of the screen. The slide down options from the top of the screen also disappear. The phone just freezes and I have to restart the phone every time. I don't know if it's doing this with other apps, or whether it's just the messaging app.

If the screen is active, it remains active but unresponsive for the duration of the ring. I'm still using Kit Kat 4.4.4.

I wait for his call but never rings. He texts me and says he called me twice but my phone never rang at all! So I got my house phone and called myself but it didn't ring neither! I called myself 4 times and no incoming call at all! I left myself a voicemail and it did went through. Now here's the kicker, I have to make a phone call in order for the incoming calls to go through.... I tested that by calling my voicemail or house phone.

I think the problem is that the voice signal is not being decoded correctly. It happens randomly at least once per day.
