View 10 Replies View RelatedAny app I try to download wont download. It just has a continuous downloading status but never actually downloads. Has anyone seen this problem before? I spoke to a sprint rep and she did a refresh but the same problem still persists. I even restarted the phone but still have the same issue. My internet and everything else works. The rep told me I can do a factory reset to see if that will fix the problem. I will take it to a sprint store but wanted to see if anyone else had this problem and fixed it without doing a hard reset.
View 15 Replies View RelatedOnce again, I adore my Backlfip; however, there are a few issues I've been posting about lately as an attempt to see if there are any solutions to long-term problems.
I update my apps about once a week (mainly due to the following problem). While updating apps on my phone through the Android Market it will almost always reboot my phone (not on each update... but maybe one out of every 5 updates). It doesn't seem to tie to a particular update.
I have had too many problems with thsi phone and I'm starting to think it wasn't worth the $300. First of all the Android MArket force closes on me every time I go to the Just In game section. Another problem I've had is freezing, it freezes way too often. The biggest problem is the freaking resetting, my phone just resets for no reason, I'm just browsing through the internet or playing a game and suddenly the phone vibrates and turns off for example and then it turns on again and let's be serious the phone takes a long time to turn on, I have had this happen to me 5 times in the last 3 days and it is really annoying. Also wanted to know if this phone will ever be upgraded again to a newer version of android. I just have to know Motorola are you planning on fixing any of these problems, because this product is very, well how can I put it, horrible. I'm hoping you guys do something about all these bugs because most of us payed $300 for a crap phone taht rarely gets any updates. Just truly disappointing.Also forgot to add, will thsi phone ever be able to install apps/ save them on SD because the internal memory is too low and fills up to fast and I can't find any option enabling me to save my apps to my SD card.

My phone dont want update nor download any applications from Android market but I can access my web browsers(internet working perfectly). When trying to download it gives the following error massage "Download was unsuccessful, please try again" I have check the internet settings and even requested my network providers to send me thier setting but didnt succeed, and my software is even updated.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI wasnt able to start the market app for 5 days on the phone because the account that was tied to my Milestone was deleted from my Google Apps domain. You have to wait 5 days to reinstate an account with the same name.
So... 5 days later, I can bring up the market app, and search, but when I try to download I get a generic "Download of xxxxxxxx was unsuccessful, try again later". Anyone else having issues? Anyone have any ideas? From what I can tell everything else seems to be ok. I can get mail from my domain account and my gmail account as well as my exchange account.
I get this error with wifi on, wifi off, free apps, paid apps..... I have been able to download them before. If I look in the markets at "downloads", the only thing it shows I have downloaded in Google Maps, but I have download about 8 other apps.
During an exam, I can get in trouble if my phone goes off, even if it just vibrates.I've noticed that even when I have my phone in silent mode, it still vibrates when I receive a text message. How do I turn this off? I do not use the phone for anything other than calling and texting; I have no apps or email accounts or google or anything else set up with the phone. I wouldn't even know how to use them, to be honest. I just want silent mode to mean everything is completely silent, no vibrating or anything.

i uninstalled the market and it was fine. (it ended up re-updating itself at some point later.) it happened again. i went into manage apps and cleared the data, and it was fine.

I just opened the Market to see whether any apps of mine needed updating and "My apps" shows that I have only 7 apps installed--and that doesn't include Gmail, Google Voice, Google Search, etc. I realize that this may be unrelated to Motorola or the Droid X, but you never know.
