I have an icon flashing on top of screen that I cannot identify. It is not listed as a standard Motorola icon. Appears to resemble a bulleyes and the center of this flashes.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy 6 month old iPhone 5c is flashing the apple icon it then says hook to iTunes so when hooked to iTunes it acknowledges the iTunes and says phone in recovery mode? Then it prompts me to restore phone i go through the whole restore process and at the end it says error code 9.... I cannot afford a new phone i know its under warranty still but unsure if warranty will cover it bc the plastic around the screen has a few wear and tear marks ...

I found a weird bug and wanted to report it. If you attemt to add the World Clock widget on the home screen it will cause the LED light to flash green continuously when the display goes to sleep. Deleting the widget off screen doesn't make it go away and to make things worse, when rebooting the Atrix 2 the LED flashing comes back because once you apply this clock it will forever run in the background every time phone boots. You have to do a master reset to make this nightmare go away. Update: It appears that what causes this is when for the very first time you apply this widget it scans for your location and if unsuccessful is how this problem starts. Deleting the widget, clearing data and rebooting doesn't fix it. You have no other choice but to master reset the phone. If you were successful then it will function like it should.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy wife and I both have icons. With both of our phones, it seems to take an excessively long time for the phone to identify that it has been plugged in to charge. In some cases, it won't give the notification sound for upwards of a minute. I don't think I've had a single phone that actually did that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedBecause of a number of unpleasant changes in behavior in my Atrix over the past few weeks, I decided to perform another factory reset, clearing all internal storage and starting from scratch - this is the 6th one of these I have performed since the GB update. For whatever reason, after this reset the e-mail "postage stamp" icon that had mysteriously turned gray after the GB update and remained gray in the subsequent 5 resets has turned back to red. I didn't change my Motoblur account, use a different e-mail account, or do anything consciously different. This behavior reminds me of how much more difficult it is to engineer software than virtually any other manufacturing discipline. It is impossible to test every combination of conditions through which a piece of software must behave correctly (or at least not catastrophically). I am curious to see what other behaviors may improve or decline after this reset.

Well stupid me used the customer upgrade and it got me a nice peice of phone. I can get the motorola screen whenI try to start it but it flashed on and of.I can get into the bootloader screen and I figures I could do the Alltel monster there but nothing. Makes the image but then fails. Is it dead forever?

I've had the same headset paired to a Razr v3xx whereupon I was able to hear my various ringtones I had set for certain contacts so I could tell as to whether or not I needed to answer right away or not without having to look at my phone. I liked the fact that I was able to hear these tones in my headset as well as the phones speaker. Now don't even try to pass this off as the headsets' software, as I ever had changed anything until I paired with my new Atrix. my thoughts are that this is a softwarwe engineers code changes for this particular phone

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo, for the past few days, when I wake up in the morning, I have found that the lower half of my screen is flashing. I use the AlarmDroid app and have done so since I got the device in February, so I didn't think that this would be the cause. It will flicker for a while, then eventually stop, so I can't just take it to erizon and show it to them. It only seems to do it first thing in the morning when I wake up (plugged into the charger). I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but no change. The only thing I can think of is that a couple of weeks ago my phone would not restart, so I had to reset to factory defaults. This started after I did the factory reset.

On the things broken, one is the battery charge indicator in the upper right hand corner of the GUI next to the time.At 29% it shows half full. At 49% it shows at around 75%. If you go to the Settings, Battery & Data Manager, that will show properly at 50% for instance, while the icon shown in the GUI next to the clock is not showing half green but more like 75% greenI have a nifty widget called "Tiny Battery Widget" that gives a more accurate representation (which is consistent with the battery charge indicator found buried in the system's menu under "Battery & data manager" ) and also verifies the small icon at the top right next to the clock is overly optimistic.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAtrix 2 - after downloading Android 4.0.4, green phone icon is missing. The app icon is not in any tray, any screen, or the generalized app listings. However, it is listed as running when you select "Manage Apps." Doing a force stop, then rebooting unit does not restore the icon, even though it is listed as launch by default. Technically, app is "Phone", version 4.0.4-67.21.125. How can I restore it? (Workaround - select People, then small icon phone/dialpad.)

However my wife bought the Atrix2 and she says the screen shuts off on her when the she touches the screen. It is not a timeout setting either. It is REALLY bad when we are laying in bed and she holds the phone and i try to touch the screen...boom screen shuts off! She turns it on and i touch the screen...boom the screen turns off again. Is this some kind of security setting?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have this weird thing going on with my Atrix. I've had it for about six months and it was fine until now. What happens is that the touchscreen stops responding after it is turned off (pressing the power button) and back on. I can't unlock the phone, but the volume buttons are still responsive and I can still turn off the screen. If i reboot it (by removing the battery), it boots up just fine, with the screen working perfectly. It'll sometimes stop working when ending a call. The weird thing is that it doesn't happen everytime I turn off the screen, and when it happens, if I turn it off and back on it sometimes starts working again. It also seems to happen more frequently when the battery is low.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just got a Nokia E72 and have managed to self teach how to operate all the functions I can see needing, ( no thanks to the paper manual the phone came with). Unfortunately from day 1 there has been a black + white envelope icon flashing at the very bottom of the screen. It can't be reached by the navigator and I have no unread messages nor are the message boxes full.
I have read the manual cover to cover and pressed every help button in the phone to no avail. how to stop this flashing icon as it is starting to drive me crazy. Other than that it seems like a really good phone.

View 3 Replies View Relatedi will be browsing / using apps / unlocking my phone and the screen will just crap out and turn itself off. a little red light seems to appear at the top of the phone, which i'm not sure what that means, but it keeps doing that. i've turned the phone on and off a few times this morning, taken the battery out and let it sit for a minute before putting it back in and rebooting and it still does it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedProud Atrix owner since 2/22/11...Had to replace my Atrix today with another one because the top 1/4 of the screen became unresponsive to touch. It was a sad day. I didn't do anything to it either. Good news...My backup Pro...was able to put all of my texts back into my phone...not in perfect order...but they are there. The call log was replaced! The desktop was put just like I had it! It was a pretty good move...just lost my pictures and had to redownload everything

Im not sure if this is a google flagship fucntion, but I think if we got that with the next a future update, it could even boost future sales of the device. There are hundreds, if not thousands of people out there that want this feature. However, many have never have even seen it in person. Let us be the ones to show it off to our friends, so they in turn can envy us. That would create desires in new potential customers that only spending money could fill .
