how to sync Outlook with the Motorola Admiral? I haven't had much luck and it's starting to look as though it might not be possible outside of expensive additional software. I cannot imagine a business phone would be made without that simple function.
View 3 Repliesseemingly,(since last software update?) I am unable to accept meetings sent to me over my corporate (MS outlook) email.
the invite/meetings arrive fine , but when opened, the box to 'accept/ tentative, or decline won't hightlight or change, and the drop down doesn't do anything either. same goes for the reminder time? also, I can't reply or forward from the initial screen, but can from the upper right corner once the meeting/invite is opened (but still can't accept).
this is the same regardless of the sender, and they all open/function fine from my desktop.
I can't seem to receive DC calls through Ford Sync, does anyone know if there is a fix? I know it kind of defeats the purpose of "hands free" having to hit the button on the side but it really defeats the purpose if I can't use Sync at all! Sometimes I can get the first alert but then I can't hear anything, not even if i hold the phone to my ear.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI like this feature especially when driving, however, could it be modified to first wake the screen if it's blank then wait for a second press to end the call? If a notification appears during a call, there's no way to see it without hanging up on the caller.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had a strange, but very frustrating behavior on my phone twice recently. My alarm will go off, but it will not make any sound whatsoever. I have the app alarm clock extreme and the regular android alarm. During this time, neither will make any sound. The default alarm will vibrate, but alarm clock extreme will not - although it should. A soft reset will fix the problem. Additionally, my ringtones will not make any sound when someone is calling. I'm trying to remember how the behavior was this morning, but I feel like pressing the volume up and down keys while the alarm was going off first snoozed my alarm, but then beeped to let me know the volume level.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Admiral freezes/lags when dialing/redialing and the Touchscreen is unresponsive. Its really bad on missed calls. I can hit the green dial icon 20 times in a row and nothing happens. Finally wait for about 30-60 seconds and it will dial.
I routinely reboot. Not running alot of apps. Latest firmware. I've also noticed the browser is slow to render webpages no matter how fast the connection is.
Just wanted to start a discussion on battery life. Whether is be pro, or con.What do you think of the current battery life of the Admiral?
View 15 Replies View RelatedJust got a Sprint Admiral, paired my bluetooth with it easily enough (Blueant T1), but at random, the phone will disconnect and reconnect bluetooth.I have actually watched the bluetooth icon go dark, then light back up so I know it is not an issue with the earpiece itself. It is becoming very annoying, and talking to others who have this phone, they have reported the same issue with other bluetooth earpieces.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just recently bought the Motorola MOTOACTV because I have the Motorola Admiral, and they are supposed to be able to work together. However Google Play states that the Motorola Admiral and the MOTOACTV app are not compatible. And while the latest release states that the MOTOACTV app should work with all Android 2.1 and higher, the Motorola rep that I called (level two, ID 5545142) states that the app will only work with the RAZR, which is contrary to everything put out about the MOTOACTV. I'd be interested to know if this is correct.

The phone says "can't use the calendar until you sync it..." Can't sync it, so therefore calendar is useless. My BB calendar was my lifeline to my appointments. I need to get that back!

So, when I purchased my Droid 2 last year, there was no problem importing them into the phone with the exchange server. I just bought a new RAZR XT910 and I'm starting to get a really uneasy feeling that I'm not going to be able to sync it with my Outlook calendaring and scheduling like I used to do with my old Nokia E63.

By the way, synchronising with google or having a gmail account is NOT an option, I do not trust these people and besides, I don't need another email account, I already have one at work and one at home.
I downloaded Outlook mobile. It synced email immediately, although it won't let me create a trash folder. It still won't sync my calendar though.
View 6 Replies View RelatedWith my wife, we got 2 BB Curve 8520 and we're now trying to sync both of them with our Outlook 2003 SP3 on XP SP3. Both do the same thing:
1/ First sync goes well, the BB calendar gets filled up,
2/ Everything syncs well during a few days,
3/ One day, the sync tells us it will delete 3000+ elements on Outlook, of course I click Reject and cancel the sync,
4/ I restart OK by synching one-dir from Outlook tp BB,
5/ A few days after, it returns to step 3 and is behaving bad again.
I can't get any durable solution, the only thing I got is a workaround that lasts only a few days.
Our BB version (mine/my wife's) :
- Platform : 4.2.0.118 / 4.2.0.135
- Application : 4.6.1.274 / 4.6.1.314
I use a Mac laptop at home (older one with Tiger OS) , and PC at work. I do not want to share home info with the work PC but would like to be able to sync my work outlook calendar to my iphone 6.I also do not want my work email on my iphone. Of course the IT guys at work don't like Macs and say this can't be done.Â

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe Verizon Sales assistant assured me that I'd be able to Sync my Outlook with my Droid Razr as easily as I synced it with my old Blackberry Tour. Now, after several days' worth of set-up, google searches, forum searches and FAQ's, I'm come to the conclusion that Motorola did NOT build this function into the Droid Razr, and I have to pay a hefty fee for a decent 3rd-party app to do what my Blackberry did for free. Have I missed something?

Only my calendar syncs wirelessly. I can still sync notes, tasks, contacts to outlook.I would like to be able to do at least a one-way sync from device to outlook. I tried temporarily disabling the wireless sync on the calendar, but it didn't work.So, in a nutshell, how can I wirelessly sync to my work calendar, AND desktop sync to outlook at home.

The email sync tick box is also greyed out but the wireless sync work a dream no probs at all but I would like to get my contacts on there along with email folders and such.
View 8 Replies View RelatedIt's actually starting to get annoying. what is happening is the downloaded ringtones that i have had for about 4 phones now are not working correctly, but thats not the weird part. the thing is its only for CALLS, and thats it. Any kind of phone call ringtone (default or contact) is not working after about half a day of being unplugged from the charger, and the only way to correct this is restart the phone. is anyone else having this problem? It also seems it does it to the ringtones that came with the phone, but just phone calls. TXT, facebook
