View 4 RepliesI like this feature especially when driving, however, could it be modified to first wake the screen if it's blank then wait for a second press to end the call? If a notification appears during a call, there's no way to see it without hanging up on the caller.

I have the app alarm clock extreme and the regular android alarm. During this time, neither will make any sound. The default alarm will vibrate, but alarm clock extreme will not - although it should. A soft reset will fix the problem. Additionally, my ringtones will not make any sound when someone is calling. I'm trying to remember how the behavior was this morning, but I feel like pressing the volume up and down keys while the alarm was going off first snoozed my alarm, but then beeped to let me know the volume level.

I routinely reboot. Not running alot of apps. Latest firmware. I've also noticed the browser is slow to render webpages no matter how fast the connection is.
Just wanted to start a discussion on battery life. Whether is be pro, or con. What do you think of the current battery life of the Admiral?

It is becoming very annoying, and talking to others who have this phone, they have reported the same issue with other bluetooth earpieces.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just recently bought the Motorola MOTOACTV because I have the Motorola Admiral, and they are supposed to be able to work together. However Google Play states that the Motorola Admiral and the MOTOACTV app are not compatible. And while the latest release states that the MOTOACTV app should work with all Android 2.1 and higher, the Motorola rep that I called (level two, ID 5545142) states that the app will only work with the RAZR, which is contrary to everything put out about the MOTOACTV. I'd be interested to know if this is correct.
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy Admiral's screen intermittently shuts off when I'm working on the phone, and I have to use the screen/power key to turn it back on. Also, the backlighting on the keyboard seems to be hit or miss as well. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the proximity sensor?
View 15 Replies View RelatedWe have an airave and whenever I leave the house or come back home I have to turn the phone off and then restart to get it to connect either to the airave or an outside tower so the dc will work again. I got home, turned the phone off and left it off for a couple of minutes. Turned it back on and it's been stuck on the black screen with the red motorola icon for about 8 minutes. Is there a force-shut down?

I have the E72-1 and I'm very happy with the phone. Using 022.007 today and I would recommend this phone to a friend.I have had a few known problems:pictures missing form the gallerythe D-pad fails intermittentlyNo indication when the charge is donebattery cover is a joke. Bad fit and to thin but overall the phone has worked very well.
But now I have another problem that is more annoying. It looks like there is dirt/dust *under* the screen - I have checked the screen and there are no marks on the screen surface. I have used the case that comes with the phone
from day one but that has not helped. How many here has seen this ? or am I the only one.I can see the dust/dirt clearly when the screen saver is running, it is very annoying.
i have some dust under my bb screen but im not able to get to it. im guessing its sitting right on top of the actual LCD and the "screen protector" is lying on top of it. i cant get to it, ive looked up some vids and threads but none of them show how to clean a bold.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a motorola VA76r that I have been using for nearly two years and within the last six months I keep getting a message telling me to clean up phone memory. Some days I can send pictures and video's, other days i cannot. I have not been able to receive any pictures or video's in the last 3 month. I have an S.D. card that I save downloaded files to, as well as pictures, video's and music I have downloaded from my PC. No matter what, I get a message telling me I have to clean up the phone memory. I go in and delete pictures, emails, video's, music etc but I still am unable to receive MMS.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently connected the phone to my computer in the data transfer mode (see SD card as a windows device). There I cleaned up the .dcim folder: moved and deleted hundreds of pictures.
However Gallery still show them all as being on the phone. They appear in the overview complete with small 'icon' version. But the real pictures are of course not there.
I cannot get rid of the icons or the different index tags. For removed pictures the delete option is simply not there. Delete is only a possibility for pictures that are still on the device.
So I bought this used storm. Touch screen worked perfectly. But it had tons of dust under screen. so i did some research found a video on how to clean it. So I lefted the screen with a guitar clip, put a thin lint removing cloth underscreen. Got all the dust out, I was excited phone was looking Good.BUT NOW PHONE DOES NOT RESPOND TO ANY TOUCH AT ALL. I mean NONE. Anyone know what happened? What I need to replace or do now? Any suggestions or feedback would be great.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt's actually starting to get annoying. what is happening is the downloaded ringtones that i have had for about 4 phones now are not working correctly, but thats not the weird part. the thing is its only for CALLS, and thats it. Any kind of phone call ringtone (default or contact) is not working after about half a day of being unplugged from the charger, and the only way to correct this is restart the phone. is anyone else having this problem? It also seems it does it to the ringtones that came with the phone, but just phone calls. TXT, facebook

View 3 Replies View Relatedwas wondering if there is a way to read PDF files on the admiral? i've tried alot of apps to do this with but nothing works. i need to read them because of my job, and i dont want to carry a laptop if i can avoid it( composing, reading, sending, and opening PDF files...
P.S all it says when i try to open one is" the document cannot be opened because it is not a valid PDF file"
I have no use for Direct Connect on my admiral. I don't know a single person who I can use it with. I've turned it off in the settings, but is there some way to remove the icon from my icon tray? And I'd also love to be able to change the functionality of the DC hardware button.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am working on an application that does some work once per day.As part of the testing process for applications that use this functionality I generally go into Settings->Date & Time and turn off automatic. Then press Set Date and jump the day forward by one or two, so that I can simulate a day passing and see that my application acts appropriately. On this device (Motorola Admiral) when I press Set Date I do get the date picker dialog, just as expected. However when I select a date and press the set button this date doesn't seem to get stored correctly.
Sometimes the line underneath "Set Date" which shows what the date is set for will get updated correctly and show the date that I've just entered. But other times it will just stay displaying the current date. And in either case if I back out of the settings the system still things that it is the current date, rather than the date that I've just entered. Can anyone shed some light on what I need to do in order to be able to properly set the date manually on this device?
I need an option to have a chirp for Group and a different chirp for DC. I think the default for nextel in the past has been the same single chirp for both just at different speeds, Group being a slower double chirp and DC being a faster double chirp.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt appears yet another Motorola phone is suffering from random rebooting. Has anyone else had trouble with this? I notice it more when there is low/no network coverage (Thanks Sprint). It happened to me three times yesterday alone. I was in Wilmington, NC. There is very little Sprint 3G coverage out there. My battery was near full,
