I have a motorola VA76r that I have been using for nearly two years and within the last six months I keep getting a message telling me to clean up phone memory. Some days I can send pictures and video's, other days i cannot. I have not been able to receive any pictures or video's in the last 3 month. I have an S.D. card that I save downloaded files to, as well as pictures, video's and music I have downloaded from my PC. No matter what, I get a message telling me I have to clean up the phone memory. I go in and delete pictures, emails, video's, music etc but I still am unable to receive MMS.
One would think that 512 MB of ROM is plenty when you're not that a heavy app downloader. I have a dozen of relatively small apps on my phone memory (which can't be moved to SD card).
Now I was wondering if some of you Wildfire users might have some info on other stuff which takes up ROM memory and can be cleaned up.
my 5230 is working fine except that its phone memory is gradually getting used up by its own.. I am not using the phone mem for any storage. Still the memory is as low as 20mb. Please suggest me a way to clean up my phone memory without losing my personal data and settings..
I performed a memory clean of my blackberry curv 8520 and now I can't use many of the features on my phone. I can't connect via uma and have searching for network constantly at the top of my screen. I can however connect to orange when I am outside (i can't get a signal in my home). I performed a dagnostics test with the following results:
Radio signal activation: No Signal Level: Unknown Radio access: unknown Network: Unknown
I have Bold9700 running OS6. I had several email addresses setup some by employers and others by myself. Overtime, employers deactivated the accounts and deactivated others using my data service provider's link on BB website in this case [URL] I can still find the messages on the phone. I have deleted the email icons and still could find them in messages applications.I need to find out a way to remove them permanently and free the phone memory.
I recently connected the phone to my computer in the data transfer mode (see SD card as a windows device). There I cleaned up the .dcim folder: moved and deleted hundreds of pictures.
However Gallery still show them all as being on the phone. They appear in the overview complete with small 'icon' version. But the real pictures are of course not there.
I cannot get rid of the icons or the different index tags. For removed pictures the delete option is simply not there. Delete is only a possibility for pictures that are still on the device.
Is there an app to clean up my contact list?I had my old contact list imported from my old blackberry. Then Facebook and Linkedin imported all my contacts there. So now I have two and three listings for most people. Is there a way to merge the same name contacts?
After having it 3 days, just about to write about how XPRT is a "Blackberry Killer" then took some pics at the 5MP res and found a lot of "picture noise" in my shots. In some online discussions some say it may have to do with Froyo. Everything else on the phone is amazing. But there is something wrong with the camera. Shots are not clean and crisp. I cleaned the lens and checked all the settings and have a pretty steady hand.
HOW CAN ICHECK THE MEMORY STATUS FOR BOTH THE PHONE MEMORY AND THE MEMORY CARD AND CAN I CHOOSE THE MEMORY CARD AS MY PRIMARY MEANS OF STORAGE ESPECIALLY FOR MUSIC AND PHOTOS.
i recently erased my iphone 3gs to factory settings (due to some issues), and i restored/upgraded to OS4.It has the old bootrom. How do i jailbreak this thing now? From what i read, 3gs models can be jailbroken if they have already been jailbroken from a previous version. Is this correct?
If I'm expecting an important call (so don't want to turn the phone off) then how can I wipe fingerprints off the display without accidentally touching some button that does things I don't want right now?
I came across this conundrum when I tried to clean the smudge over the "End Call" button.
I Never owned a white iphone, How hard is it to keep it clean under normal use?Folks that have owned white iphones in the past, How hard is it to keep it clean under normal use? Would you get it in white again?
I have a tmobile galaxy s5. my friend tried to fix a root error and ended up formatting the phone. now when it goes to start up it just sits there I try to get into recovery mode and it goes to twrp and says no os found, how to fix this. Also since this happened my computer doesn't recognize the phones drive or sd card and neither does Samsung Kies.
Why can I not clean up my iPhone?I have a songs and movies that I no longer want to carry with me. To delete them I have to somehow remember what I want gone, go to iTunes delete them and resync. Then there are apps Calculator, Stocks, Notes, Weather.Apple thinks they are great and was me to keep them, no way at all to delete them. Even though I purchased apps that do much more when I scroll through the apps I need to see the useless Apples' Apps.
I've noticed via search that I'm not the only one who sees issues with the clear plastic piece in the back cover of the Mytouch 3G. It won't stay clean and ruins camera pictures. The usual Q tip route doesn't seem to work; maybe there are scratches on this cover for some reason. Has anyone found a back cover replacement for the Mytouch 3G that has a bigger/better clear plastic piece over the camera lens?
So my 2 year old bold 9000 recently started acting up. After maybe a few minutes of usage the "a" button and the click function of the trackball would stop working...and leaving it alone for a while would return it back to normal (maybe a hard reset sometimes)...for the past 2 days now the "a", click, and call pickup/hangup buttons have stopped working I tried to open it up and clean it but thats not it.
I just purchase an iPhone 4s and it seems like some dirt has accumulated in the ear piece. I was wondering if I could use the edge of a paper or a toothpick to pry some of the bits out of it. I just wanted to make sure that the metal backing was durable enough to withstand me prodding at it without getting damaged.
I spent several hours cleaning up my contact list on my iPhone 3GS. Will they either be deleted, or added to by my previously backed up list on itunes, when I re-connect to itunes?
