I was shooting the moon lately when I realized that the camera makes two very faint beep sounds when taking a picture.
As far as I can tell it's beeping when the shutter opens and closes...but only when taking a picture! No beeping when starting or closing the camera.
Before I run to the store to complain I wanted to ask if this is normal...I'm aware that all the clicking and rattling is...but beeping worries me.
When I take a picture on my 950 XL, it often records a short video snippet instead of taking a picture. It's not in video mode and the file format on the phone is .JPG, and yet it still shows a 1-2 second video followed by a still shot.how do I get it to just take a picture?
View 3 Replies View RelatedPictures shots from Nokia camera during daytime or normal shots is fine but when use with flash pictures most of the time under expose or complete dark. I notice the flash behavior, if camera flash fire twice the picture is fine but fire only once then the picture is totally dark. I already reset the phone twice but still the same.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI own a L720 but am very tempted to make a switch to L1020 in future once its officially available here. A major query I have is,
-The screen is off and I hit the camera button, how long does it take to take a picture and save?
-The battery to power ratio, is it good? (Can the phone last 1 full day without any issues?)
Got my 1520 in the mail today and haven't set it down yet. Very happy with the beautiful screen and nappy experience overall. However, when I go into the camera settings, I do not see any options for Aspect ratio, DNG, etc.

View 24 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9850 and when I used to send pics to a friend through BBM they would get the option to preview, save or cancel; in turn, I would receive the same option. When I clicked "save" it would download the full 1-2MB version of the pic in BBM, saving it to my picture folder. Yesterday they bought the same phone (Torch 9850) and now when either of us send a pic, neither of us have the option or are given the opportunity to download the actual picture file?!? We simply get a low quality 30KB image with no option other than to go to the BB file menu and click "save" which saves not the full high quality image, but the 30kb one we just received.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy brother in law ordered a Lumia Icon and put a Straight Talk Verizon LTE sim in it. Everything works great except for sending MMS. He says he can receive, but not send. There's no MMS APN option in settings, and Access Point says it won't work in Lumia Denim. What can he do to send MMS?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just noticed that when in monthly view anything listed on each day is not in English. I have checked my accounts online and everything seems to be in English. Why the language switches.
View 8 Replies View RelatedSo I got my Icon over the weekend and I've been playing around with it and I have a few questions about the camera settings. I was taking some pictures, and noticed that sometimes they were a bit blurry/not focused. I cannot tell if its me or the camera. Also, when I zoom in on the pictures, I feel that it looks more grainy than they should.
Also, side note - has power, volume and camera button feel slightly wiggly/loose? I noticed the side buttons on my Icon are not as firm as they were on my 928.
Media+ apps volume is all the way up and my alarm volume is really low. I'm a missing a setting to turn it up or is it just that low?
View 9 Replies View RelatedOne of the main uses for my mobile phone is a music player in my car. I love listening to music from every genre, but I find that the default "None" or flat equalizer settings are pretty terrible. I've gone through the various presets available, but none of them are perfect for a wide range of musical selections. If there was one thing I couldn't complain about the iPhone, it was the audio quality. The equalizer on my iPhone was always zeroed out, but the sound quality was always great.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to use the phone as magnifying glass. There was an app available from Nokia Beta Labs which is not compatible with N97 mini. You could also use the"T"-button on the E71 phone. Is there such a function on N97 mini? If i zoom to max possible zoom, then the picture is not focused, and the only way i have found out so far is to take a picture and then (after viewing) throwing it away.Where is the focus button?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if the new iCloud features will allow me to store my photos on the server instead of on my phone. Â
By now, many of us must have an excessive amount of photos on our devices. It would be nice if I could 'archive' or 'keep on server' my photos from 2010 that I rarely access... but still have the ability to download them if I were so inclined. I am using GB upon GB in pictures and have no space for movies and music at this point.Â
Is anything like this possible? what about with iOS 8 and the new iCloud features?Â
I know if I create a stream it gives me the ability to download the whole thing.Â

iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.1
I've had my E72 for a little over a month now, and I'm pretty satisfied with. I have recently come across an annoying problem though: When the phone has been turned on for some time (30-60 minutes) the camera starts to lag after taking a picture. The duration of this lag can be up to 40 seconds, and it is pretty annoying that I have to wait for that long between shots. If I turn the phone off and then on again the problem goes away for a short period and then returns.
