So after the firmware update, I decided to do a factory reset.
I noticed that the camera takes far less time to 'add finishing touches' now, but I no longer have the ability to edit the exposure/light after I take the photo. That button never appears when I am looking at the photo afterwards? Rich capture is enabled.
While I'm not a huge photo taker, I find it really annoying to snap one and have this purple tint above it. I've noticed that my camera cover has tiny scratches in the center. I'm pretty sure that's what is causing the purple tint maybe the reflection of the light.

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn on the photo light from the still camera screen with out having to go through the advanced settings. This is a huge pain when you are taking a photo and have to go through several steps to turn on a light that should have been an automatic flash to begin with or at least have a quick toggle button on the same camera screen. This is nuts not to have this at an instant when it is so important to have to take some pictures. the new 2.1 (I cannot tell since I live in the USA and we are getting the shaft on the new update--everyone else is getting it before us and no one will say when we are getting it)
View 1 Replies View Relatedany apps that allow the photo-LED light to actually "flash" or "snap" if you will when you're taking a photo at night as apposed to going deep into the options menu and activating the photo-light which stays on and blinds the shyte out of your subjects? Its the only feature that would make the camera perfect in my opinion.

In video mode the camera is almost un-usable because the AF and the AE hunts around like crazy even in decent light. see [URL] .... Local Sony tech said that this maybe a faulty software design. I'm hoping the updated software supplied with the Xperia Z4 makes it's way to the Z2.

It seems not to be the case on the Galaxy and the only way to change the exposure is to point the camera elsewhere (I tried the 3 different exposure settings also).
