Lumia 950 :: Notification Sound When Listening To Audio?
Dec 15, 2015
When I'm listening to a podcast or music I don't hear the notification sound like I did with my Android. Is there a setting so I can hear all notification while I listen to audio?
After a hard reset on 8.1 lost all audio. Not only is their no sound, when pressing a ringtone or play in Spotify there is no touch response to show the sound is "playing".
How I do I change what the "Default" notification sound is? I'm not trying to one-off change the apps, I just want to globally switch the sound all apps set to "Default" use.
1. Recurring appointment in calender is without sound notification. Only the first event had sound.
2. When I select picture from camera roll, auto-fix it and save, it doesn´t show up in saved pictures folder. This worked great couple of months or weeks ago, not anymore.
The notification sound (when an email/sms/calendar pushes) during a call is so annoying and uncomfortable (there will be a weird sound in the earphone and then the normal notification sound, too distracting). Is it possible to disable that weird sound?
Got the new lumia 950xl yesterday in the UK, loving it so far but when I switch off my phone and back on again it seems to change the notification sound for Facebook and messenger, not really sure why so? Really annoying considering the messenger default is set to none so if I forget I won't know I have a message until I check my phone....
I tried to find out if there is already a solution for this one, but no luck. While I'm listening the music with my C7 with headset connected and the SMS arrives, the indication sound is totally mind blasting. Is there some where a place to turn it down while using headset on my C7?
The issue occurs when playing music and you get CPU load. For me this usually occurs within 6 hours after a reboot. Apps that use the network to stream music are more affected. This usually occurs while the screen is off at random times, and is resolved temporarily when you press the power button. However, there appears to be a bug in the OS where simply touching the screen can cause enough CPU load to create this issue, although that bug seems to require the phone being on for a while. Also, if you do/don't, can you post your kernel version? The atrix uses 2.6.32.9-00001
How do I customize the call notification to vibrate and the text message notification to sound at the same time for vibration mode? The vibration mode works fine for me (both call and message notifications vibrate only), but sound notification for text messages when I am in the middle of something. I am a new Android user and it seems that both settings cannot be done separately for the vibration mode.
I installed Nokia Music 3.0 on my Lumia 800 (UK - no branded) 7.10.8112.7 Location - Kazakhstan / Operator - Beeline
When I run the first time, in menu I can find My Music / Radio Mix / Gigs / Setting. After couple of time I enter/exit from the app, Gigs and Radio Mix disappear, and I have only My Music and Setting. Means I can't anymore listen to online music or download radio mix for offline listening. If I uninstall the app and install again, the first time I found the complete menu, but after they disappear again. Without Radio Mix menu the Nokia Music app is not useful anymore.
Since I updated my lumia 800 to Tango It has freezed 5 times while I am listening to music plugged to 2.1 speakers while it is charging.Lumia 800 + charging + 2.1 speakers wired = Annoying tome I have to press long time the power button, restart it and play again music praying it won't happen again.
Lumia just stats listening for voice commands on its own? I can't even put in my pin without it interrupting me after the second digit. It started happening after I hard test the phone. I have 8.1.
Sometimes randomly after unlocking my phone or turning it on, (specifically a couple seconds maybe 4, of looking at the Home screen) I hear a noise. I'm not sure if it vibrates or not I'll check next time. But it seems to be some sort of notification that happened. Now I have no apps running but I get this beep sound. I checked text messages, emails, push notifications, battery, coverage yet its not one of those. Maybe its WiFi. But for some reason I get this random beep of the phone trying to notify me of something but it never shows up on the screen. Sometimes after locking my phone (screen being black) it does the noise.
I use a couple of gmail (and Google Apps)accounts for work I read email on my MBP or using the Mail client in on my iPhone 4S.I'd like to go about my day without checking email every ten minutes, but when I receive an important emailfrom my boss,or a client),I'd like to be notified immediately, i.e.in some audible way.How can I do this? Can I set up the iPhone Mail client to beep (only) when email shows up from a specific address? Can I set it up to notify me via SMS to my ATT phone or my Google Voice account?
After installing IOS 5.1.1 through wifi connection without the PC I tune. The audio is disabled and I cans play any sound. Only rings and calls functioning.
My Samsung GS5 has been working great. I was able to pair my Bluetooth successfully to my car stereo with no issues and stream music. As of two days ago, it quit working. The device pairs with the stereo on both phone and media connections. But no sounds will stream through the stereo.
I have unpaired and re-paired the Bluetooth and its successful but it will not stream any Bluetooth sounds what so ever from the phone to the stereo.
I have all volumes turned up on the phone and on the radio. no change. My old GS3 will pair and stream with no issue to the radio.
This started after the recent Lollipop update. Any notification - new message, phone call, just setting phone on charger, etc. - resumes play on whatever I was listening to last, as if the notification had interrupted play, even if nothing had been playing at the time.
i have a torch 9810, haven't had any problems until now. There is no sound with the notifiers, only vibrate even though i have set them up with sounds and the sound profile is on normal. this is a recent development, it always worked fine before. Even my alarm didn't sound this morning.
Any suggestions before sending in my 4S for service? When shooting video, there's no audio. No audio when trying to voice record...however no mic issues with using SIRI or Dragon Dictation app. Some apps (games) have no sound, yet others play normally.
I am not receiving an audio notification of an incoming message when I am on a call. I typically end a call to find important txt and email messages waiting for me in the notification bar. This is a feature that I have had on every non-android phone. My emails and sms apps are set to Priority. Call and message interruptions are turned on.
When i have bluetooth enabled, media plays through my bluetooth headset only but notifications like texts still play through phone speakers AND the bluetooth headset at the same time.
The past few days I've a problem where people can't really hear me during a call. The sound is muffled to them. Works fine using headset so expect a hardware problem.
I just had a quick question for you HTC one owners. When you listen to music using beats audio with the volume really high, do you ever notice that the bass sometimes distorts?
The stereo sound on my galaxy s6 edge's audio Jack stopped working after plugging it into an old (20+ years) sound system via auxiliary. The left still works but the right just makes a buzzing noise.
