Aug 10, 2014Why my estimated time remaining is 1 day, i saw other phone was 2 day 3 day 4 day, even 50% was over 3 day. I'm using lumia 1520.

Galaxy S6 :: Estimated Usage Time Remaining (Battery)
Apr 16, 2015I've seen quite a few screenshots where people's battery were saying 21 hours for estimated usage time remaining at 100%, and some have been getting 2 days of use, even if it's minimal. My question is how is that even possible, when after a full charge to 100%, my estimated usage time remaining is only 10 hours?? This is my 2nd S6 as the first one had a camera problem, but both only estimate 10 hours when full.

Jun 25, 2014I got a Nokia Lumia 1520 last week. Coming from an HTC One (M7), I am still impressed with the smoothness of Windows Phone OS -rarely I get any loading for an app. Moreover Metro has come a long way since the days of ZuneHD.
However I got a slight problem with the date/ time. Both the date and time gets reset back to 20 July 2013, 03:00 after the battery runs out or I try a soft reset.I already tried:
1) Setting the time on manual; it will reset back to manual time and the date/time above.
2) Setting the time on automatic, will still get reset back to manual and the wrong date/time.
3) Instead of setting the phone on 4G, I used the 3G and automatic. Same as above.
4) Setting the date manually and then to automatic, keeps the date/time I setup manually.
5) Turning the device off and on again (not soft reset with the volume key) will keep the date/ time regardless if it was set manually or manually and then automatically.

Oct 3, 2012I've had my Lumia 710 for a few months now and over the past week the remaining battery life percentage is way wrong. For instance, one day I noticed my battery icon was really low so I went to check the % and it said it was -4%. I was even able to make a 10 minute call and it never died on me. A few days ago I had about 70% but when I checked the phone a few minutes later it was around 10%. A few times I've even had it die on me and it never gives me the critical battery warning.This morning it was dead when I woke up so I brought my charger to work. After charging only 30 minutes it said I had 57% battery. But now 4 hours later I'm sitting at 98% and it looks like it won't go past that. Is something wrong with my battery or could the battery life indicator just be way off?

Dec 10, 2015I updated to WM10 10586.29 and now when my battery gets to 70% To 75% it will drain down do 2% in an hour. I have location, Hey Cortana and most background apps turned off and still get the drain. Also I just noticed while charging it takes forever, but when it get's to 40% it goes up to 100% in less than 10 min.

Lumia 1520 :: Battery Charge Maxes Out At 80%
Aug 24, 2015I bought a new battery on eBay and had it installed. It looked legit, says Nokia, came in decent looking packaging etc. It doesn't matter how long it's plugged in for, it won't go past 80% charge. Battery performance is good, at least compared to before the replacement. I'm just wondering if the phone is just reporting it wrong, or if there is something wrong with the battery.

Jul 27, 2014I removed the bloatware by simply uninstalling it. Bluetooth off as well as any app that may drain the battery. I could go 24+ hrs before a recharge with minimal usage, but generally beat my phone up on a daily basis between 6am to midnight using Instagram, Facebook, phone calls, texting, Pandora, camera, and youtube and still have 40% battery life.... But that was before 8.1 and Cyan.... Now, at idle it drained 25% in 4hrs sitting next to me while I'm writing an essay!? Mar 9, 2015I have had Denim on my 1520 for a while now. (UK CV). Yesterday, I had extensive usage of the phone and it slipped into battery saver mode at 20% - an abnormal occurrence for me.
Anyway, when Battery Saver enabled, the backlight behind the Back-Start-Search keys went out. And I was using the phone in the dark, walking home.
Upon regaining power, the lights came back again.
I tweeted Lumia on the mysterious occurrence which definitely did not happen in Cyan. Their response today seemed to indicate a fixable software thing - soft reset, see what happens. I have yet to try that.
An easy way to see: Enable "Now until next charge" in Battery Saver. Doing this on mine immediately extinguishes the backlight on the capacitive keys.
