Jul 7, 2014I really love this phone, I got it like 3 months ago. Everything was fine, but since today I can't hear the persons calling from my main speaker ( the one on top of the Nokia logo ) while they can hear me. the big speaker works but then the mic doesn't !My phone didn't fall or anything... I tried the instructions on Nokia.com , I used the Nokia software recovery tool they recommend, but still nothing.Now I can only speak with the head set and it's not comfortable.the phone runs the latest update ( maybe the problem comes from an update that came during the night, since its automatic) . And I think this is software related, but you are the experts .

May 23, 2012When i connect my old headsets from my nokia asha and nokia c3, they fit fine, and perfectly in the headset socket, however i cant vaigly hear anything, even though the volume is on full. Do i need a special nokia lumia 800 headset, or are the ones ive used adequate? They do fit perfectly in the audio socket so i dont see why i cant hear much from them, the 2 headsets ive tried work fine in the asha and can hear loud and clear

Lumia 950 XL :: Cannot Hear Ringtone Samples
Dec 9, 2015With the .29 build now on both the 950XL and the 930, I can't hear the samples provided in the ringtone list on either phone.
All other clicks, tones, beeps and tunes come through loud and clear. The phones ring with the selected tone when a call comes in. I just can't hear them when I go through the selection list.

Aug 20, 2012I've recently upgraded to the Lumia 900 and have downloaded some sound clips which I would like to assign to various features like new mail, text message etc. However, it seems that I can only assign the downloads to contacts and not any other feature.
