Dec 3, 2013My brother sent me a short 20 second video from his iphone last night he shot of his son and I want to save it to the phone, but so far no luck, any way to work around this or any apps that can doing this, or is this an issue that is hopefully going to be fixed in 8.1?

Oct 24, 2013So I received somewhat of an update today with my camera, but not a firmware update. After I restarted my phone I was no longer able to connect to my facebook chat. Every message I try to send states "Cannot connect to chat right not, but we are trying." I have tried removing my facebook account from my phone and my windows account from facebook, and it didn't work. I was almost thinking it might be some sort of update I am missing.

Oct 2, 2013I yesterday upgraded my phone contract and purchased a Nokia Lumia 1020 from the Galaxy S2 truth is I wanted to try something different. The phone itself is great, However after going through setting im trying to setup the Facebook lock screen I have gone through the options opened the app and selected how I want it to look but when I lock the phone and open it all I get is a blue screen with the Facebook logo Date and time no picture from Facebook, just a blank blue screen .

But would I have to download the videos from my phone or onedrive first before uploading on to facebook too, for the highest quality *with the smallest size possible? My videos are easily half a GB!

Not only that, I could download and store the said documents straight to my phone and open with the Microsoft apps too.On the Lumia I'm unable to do either, even though this has Office 365.I'm unable to open any attachment straight from email with it's inbuilt office suite.I do own Office 2010 on my PC, but what do I need to do to integrate with Office 365?When I added my email address it just duplicated the account and still didn't open attachments?

Mar 19, 2012I am brand new to the Nokia 710 and I have my AOL email account linked up to the phone. I am able to send and recieve emails just fine.My problem is that when I try to open/download any attachments like a Word or PDF document that are in the emails, they never open. They start to open but never do. I can open these attachements on my old Palm Pixi rather quickly and without any trouble so I know it is not the files that are the problem.
I've searched both this USA forum and the UK one and didn't see anyone else with the same issue... so did I not set up something properly with the phone?

Sep 15, 2014Lately, I've been getting a fair number of corrupted DNG files in my Lumia 1020 - I mean, I guess they're corrupted, since when I import them to Lightroom, the program states it can't open or edit them.
Curiously, the 5 mpx are fine.. When I check the size of the DNGs, I can see that they have, exactly, 1 byte less, in size, than the DNGs that Lightroom can edit.

Sep 1, 2014For some reason, my Lumia 1020 died on me today for no apparent reason. I had been listening to music on my way to work this morning, put the phone down on the table, and no more than an hour later the phone was off. I tried powering it up, but nothing happens, nothing appears on the screen, no startup vibration, etc. The phone had a full charge before work. I know if there is a batteryproblem, the phone will display a red battery picture, but this has not happened.
