Been googling and can't find if it's possible to use the lock button to snap photos. Would be easier to take selfies if it's possible. Couldn't find anything in camera settings and there's nothing in my search results about it.
I want to be able to only lock my blackberry by pressing the top left lock button and not unlock it when i press it again. This is extremely annoying. Can anyone help me?
When I lock my SGS II i would expect all the buttons to lock! However the power button function remain active and its far too easy to accidently power off my phone or set it into flight mode.Does anyone know how to disable this "feature" ??
I want to know how to take snap shot of screen in ICS on Experia Pro. In GB it was easy, by just pressing the power button. But in ICS no such option is getting.
The Lock button is probably the most used button on the phone and mine is starting to feel weird as if its getting loose or jammed. what should i do if it stops working or if it gets worse (more jammed)?
my lock button on the top is stuck in my phone i dont know what to do about it? i cant turn off phone only way is to let it go dead an i cant lock it unless it locks on its on
My iphone's 4 lock button does not work, it feels like its stucked( it doesnt feel like a button any more). how I could fix myself or should I take it to a proffesional.

So has anyone else's 4S lock button gotten jammed for some unexplained reason? I have never dropped my phone, but the lock button has somehow gotten jammed.
Earlier when I locked my iPhone the button got jammed, is there a way I can get it out myself (would it be worth trying to stick a small wire or pin underneath to un jam it?) or should I wait until have time to go to an apple store and get them to repair it?
My iPhone 5 lock button presses fine and is smooth but when I press the button it screenshots and then freezes both the home and lock buttons from working.
Looking for a camera app for LG G3 that has one finger zoom and (ideally) tap-anywhere to snap. My Moto X camera had these features, and they make one handed control (especially when making hurried shots!) SO much easier.
My phone updated a few days ago with all the other Sprinters and I just noticed 2 issues I now have with the camera. I was taking a few pictures and getting an error about the Duo Camera being blocked, it went away after I went down the menu and changed settings. Nothing was blocking the cameras, no case, no fingers, both lenses were clear.Today I tried to use my TD Bank mobile deposit and the camera would not focus when I tried to snap a picture of the check. Worked fine before the update.
So I am a Mogul owner. It's currently broken. Since they do not manufacture the Mogul any longer, the "Snap" is what they are trying to replace it with. Well, needless to say, there are a few things about this that make me happy. In the past, when this happened, they replaced with with an equivalent priced item, equivalently performing item, or the next upgrade to what I had (if they had nothing equivalent). There are a few things that the Snap does not have that are very important to me. Mainly, Wi-Fi, the screen size, and lack of touch screen. Though, I think the biggest problem, is that I do not like the way it looks. Has anyone here had a mogul and got a Snap afterwards, either by choice, or upgrade? What was your experience with it. Pros? Cons? (or just the cons). I am looking for short comings found in the Snap that are found in the Mogul.
The lock/unlock button has a crack next to it. I am afraid it will get bigger. The phone is 2 months old, the crack is from locking and unlocking, extra insurance through FUTURESHOP does not cover it apparently (last time I buy from them). This should not happen, does blackberry stand behind their products
I just got my Blackberry Bold 9780 last night and the 'lock/unlock' button on the top left doesn't work at all. It feels somewhat sticky - the mute key on the right side makes a clicky sound when pressed down whereas the lock button just presses in without making any contact. I understand that you can set a password but that is rather inconvenient as you have to wait 1 minute for it to lock and every time I want to use the phone I have to type in a code. I can lock the phone by holding down A/* but then there is no way of unlocking it again. the phone came with the holster because that seems to unlock it for me - but this is obviously less than ideal. What can I do? Is there a shortcut to unlocking like on the Curve 8520 (a/* and the call button)?
Is it possible to deactivate the On/Off Button while the device is screen locked?
A User have a problem that he puts his Blackberry in his pockets and it could be that the on/off Button gets accidentally pushed for some seconds and the Blackberry turns itself off.
Now he wants to disable the button while in screen lock.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 updated to Android Version 5.0 (KitKat).
Currently when I press the Power Button, the screen goes black. But it does not lock the screen.
I have the screen lock set to 30 seconds. But even so, there are lots of times when I have put the phone in my pocket and it accidentally it the home button before the 30 seconds is up and random apps get launched as my phone bounces around in my pocket.
So I would like to be able to press the power button and immediately have the screen lock. I was able to do this on my original Galaxy Nexus. But I cannot figure out how to do this on my Samsung.
I did some google searches and I found many many posts that said "go into settings, select lock screen, scroll to the very bottom and click the option to enable lock on power button."
The problem is, when I go into the Lock Screen settings and scroll down to the very bottom, I don't see any such option. So, how to enable the Power Button to immediately lock my phone?
