just received an LG Scoop from my daughter that she had been using and overall it is a nice phone for me and I have been able to ad my personal ringers and photo for wallpaper. My biggest issue with this phone though is that I have a hard time seeing the tiny font when I read a text message. Has anyone figured out a filesystem fix for this or any other work around?

My question is: is it possible get MMS and Browser functional by just changing some of these settings? The sub-menus under "DATA" are: 1)Data set. 2) SMS 3) MMS 4)WAP Set. 5)AXCESS
Fields under MMS are: Retry number, Gateway, MMSC Center, User Agent, MMSC Post URL, Upload Address, MMSC Post CGI, Authorization.Mostly want to be able to send media, Browser would be nice but is of minor concern. Also..."Gateway" is currently set as: mms.alltel.com, but when I try to edit it only allows input of numeric characters?Can connect to BitPim but only able to access "Filesystem" section.
i have the rumor touch on virgin mobile, my problem is that in the predictive text mode it finds and adds words even though i dont want it too. this happened with the rumor 2 too, but the problem is you cant edit of delete these words.i was wondering if someone that has the rumor touch on sprint has a way to edit the dictionary and its just cut out of the virgin mobile rumor touch firmware (cause virgin mobile does it alot with thier software).

You will see the options: All messages/Quick Text/Compose/Call/Attach/MoreTap on 'More' and there is another menu, where you then choose 'Text size'.

I'm looking for a way to either change the default text size for everything on the phone or use a pinch zoom function. I found the zoom mode in Accessability, but I dont need something like that, I just want the type fonts to be a little bigger. I know I could do that on my HTC phone, am I just missing the place to change that setting?

I've messed with text slider in ease of access to see if this would improve things, which it does in other apps & internet explorer, but it doesn't appear to have any effect on the text size displayed in the calendar tile. I have a Galaxy S6 with Android 5.1.1. When I first purchased my phone a couple of months ago, I could change my font sizes in the messaging app using the volume buttons. That no longer works. I can however change the font sizes by pinching. What do I have to do to have the volume keys change the font sizes again? Or was that feature removed by one of the updates?
View 8 Replies View RelatedIn his iPhone Settings, under Accessibility, my boss has his Large Text set at 32pt font. However, about half of his work emails come through in the large font, and half do not (they come through in 5pt font, it's really small). The email is an Microsoft Exchange email, and I've had my fair share of problems working on an iPhone with an Exchange account, but this seems odd as there doesn't seem to be a reason why some emails come through in 32pt font, and other's don't. I don't know if it has anything to do with the length of the chain of the email, like 40 email responses come through small whereas an email chain of 5 responses comes through in 32pt. AppleCare had no idea, and did some troubleshooting (e.g. rebooting and try to reset all preferences) which didn't work.

I just upgraded from a ic502 to the LG Rumor 2. How can I get my contacts to my new phone? I do not subscribe to the Sprint gimmick to do it that way. I got the contacts off the ic502 using iDEN Phonebook Manager. Am I going to have to go to a Sprint store? Oh, and I don't have the USB cable yet either.Sorry if this has already been asked, but I searched and couldn't find anything.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI had my LG Rumor(unflashed) plugged into uniCDMA to get my security code and I clicked "read all" and my phone's info showed up. I saw the phones ESN # and I clicked "write" (assuming it would just rewrite the original ESN) & it said ESN write failed followed by my phone restarting. Once I plugged it back in, my ESN, MEID, and other codes where zeroed out.Is there anyway to restore it, because my ESN is showing up as zeros in my phone's settings and I'm trying to activate it with cricket.
