So has anyone had any success with additional chocolate touch themes? Is it possible to use the EnV Touch themes with the VX8575? If not, anyone have info on integrating new themes into the phone? What about additional shortcuts?Also, I was wondering what type of applications the phone supports. Flash, Java, anything else?

I have been searching for a disassembly guide/tutorial for this phone and so far I have found nothing. I see it has six screws on the back, so that's probably a good place to start. If someone has taken this phone apart or has a link to a guide that they could share, it would be much appreciated! If nothing materializes, I'll be sure to take photos and notes and post them after the surgery.

It has a USB cable, and we were wondering how to upload/sync photos to her Macbook.I tried Bitpim, but it doesn't seem to load any data off the phone. The logs show that it is indeed getting data from the phone, but the application doesn't seem to store it anywhere. Are there any other applications, or has anybody had any luck with Bitpim?

View 1 Replies View RelatedProblem Description I was in a middle of a workout with the MOTOACTV. It was connected wirelessly to my heart rate monitor. During the workout the UI became high latency and almost completely unresponsive. It would take 3 4 presses to the Power Key to get the device to wake up. When device did wake up, the CapTouch UI would not accept any swipe or touch gestures. I finally was able to power the device down hoping for a graceful reset. However I was concerned that I was never going to get to the point of getting to the power down screen. seen this issue on other Android devices and know that there are times when a battery pull is needed due to a deadlock or a process gone haywire.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought the new Nokia 5233 phone.Whenever the phone is locked and I set a alarm. There is no way i can stop the alaram other than to reset the alarm manually by alarms-> edit.
There will be two touch buttons that apper on the otuch screen. One to stop and other to snooze the alarm. Even If press them, it wont work. The alaram keeps ringing. I even tried clicking on the green button and the menu botton at the bottom. Still no use. I cant even unlock the phone. Only thing i can do is press the red button at the end, which will snooze the alarm. After this, I have to manually change the alarm time.
The same thing happens even with phone calls. I cannot use the touch button that apper on the touch screen. I have to use the green and red button at the bottom.These problem come into picture only if the phone is locked. Otherwise it works fine.

My Sprint Touch Pro's touchscreen slowly died today. And I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what I should do. I bought it on eBay and apparently the warranty is non-transferable so that's void. I have it on Boost so I'm guessing going to Sprint is out of the question also.

In my app world it says that they are downloaded. I have tried deleting them and re installing them and it still didn't work. View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter flashing 5.1.1 (Xtrestolite) on my S6 I noticed an annoying thing. When changing my dpi to 480 (and also 520) and applying a theme I got a message after rotating my phone to landscape mode (for example in the browser or camera app.
A dialog appeared with the title "Keyboard cover attached" and the message "Unable to apply downloaded themes while the keyboard cover is attached. The default theme will be applied". Pressing ok applies the default samsung theme and the only other option is to rotate the phone back to portrait after which the dialog disappears.
The issue seems to be with the ThemeCenter.apk in the /system/priv-app/ThemeCenter folder, I'll check if I can patch it somehow but in the meantime I have a dirty workaround... after applying the theme you want just rename the 'ThemeCenter.apk' to something like 'ThemeCenter.apk.mod'. Reboot the phone and you can rotate the phone as you wish without getting the msg and the stock theme being applied.
Only downside is you can not apply other themes while having it renamed (read disabled). Going to Themes in settings gives a crash, but at least the theme sticks now. If you wish to change the theme again, just rename the apk back to normal and reboot. Most likely the default theme will be applied again but you can now change it (and after changing, same procedure... rename and reboot).
