LG :: How To Disassemble Vx8575?

The LCD on my vx8575 chocolate touch cracked so I ordered a replacement that should be arriving mid-week. I have been searching for a disassembly guide/tutorial for this phone and so far I have found nothing. I see it has six screws on the back, so that's probably a good place to start. If someone has taken this phone apart or has a link to a guide that they could share, it would be much appreciated! If nothing materializes, I'll be sure to take photos and notes and post them after the surgery.

I purchased an N97 mini off Ebay, the phone came in fine but it smelt like crap (the user was a smoker). I tried cleaning every nook and cranny with no luck and now I'm thinking of cleaning the insides as well. Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I might go about doing this? Or if they know any shop that might do this service for me?

My Sprint/Metro PCS HTC Diamond's touch screen all of a sudden stopped responding.If it had a keyboard like the PRO would've been no problem but NO KEYBOARD.Even though I did a PIM backup and had my old PRO handy and now connected I really want to see if I can get it back to life!!I opened it yesterday (thinking maybe it got loose and I could "just" connect it right) and could not get all the way to the screen so I decided to leave it alone, for now..Googled and all I got was GMS videos and stuff so I was wondering that maybe someone here has done it and could help me get to the screen and replace it...

Does anyone have any instructions to disassemble an LG Rumor 2/LX265? Maybe a schematic? I need some help. I can't remove the motherboard. There is a latch I cannot see on the right side of the phone.

vx8575 Messed with the fileBD and Boot loop and i had to emergency flash it!!! it was houdine flashed to metro pcs............. esn now is on zeros!!! took it to metropcs to houdini flash it again and for reprograming but major fail!!! Been searching everywhere but no luck only answer i can get is the new cdma workshop but thats too much money......... Any help or sulution will be well appreciated........

My friend recently purchased an LG VX8575 (chocolate touch) from Verizon Wireless. It has a USB cable, and we were wondering how to upload/sync photos to her Macbook.I tried Bitpim, but it doesn't seem to load any data off the phone. The logs show that it is indeed getting data from the phone, but the application doesn't seem to store it anywhere. Are there any other applications, or has anybody had any luck with Bitpim?

So has anyone had any success with additional chocolate touch themes? Is it possible to use the EnV Touch themes with the VX8575? If not, anyone have info on integrating new themes into the phone? What about additional shortcuts?Also, I was wondering what type of applications the phone supports. Flash, Java, anything else?
