Jul 6, 2010My dads kp500 has a problem. It hangs on the boot up screen (LG logo).I think it is use a software issue. Where can I find reflash software for it. What program would I use to reflash it?I been reflashing Moto's for years and SE's for a few months now, so I kind of know what to do.

Aug 1, 2010I dropped my iPhone, cracked the screen and LCD, replaced both, as well as the inner plastic bezel holding them together. Now, the LCD doesnt turn on and the touch screen will not respond. The backlight wont even turn on .It is still on, responds when I plug it into USB, it still vibrates and has its files and will be picked up by iTunes, but the screen is black with no display, no backlight and as far as I can tell the touchscreen is not working.And the kicker is that it was working for a few seconds, when I first put everything together, I just took it apart to get the home button to be seated properly, and bam, all of a sudden everything stops working.Frustrating indeed ! Would anyone be able to help me out please ? I am sick that it seems I will have to buy another part, but, if it will fix it then it's worth it !

Jan 6, 2010My iphone 2g fell out of my pocket last night while I was washing hands into the wash bowl and although I wiped it dry immediately, there was some issue after a while. I didn't realise it could cause some issues. But when I received a call, the touch screen didn't function at all and I was unable to answer the call.
After spending sleepless night yesterday to fix this issue, nothing seemed to work. I rebooted, restarted, restored to factory setting, many times, nothing is working. This is a 2g phone with 3.1.2 firmware, jail broken with blackrain. But I still receive the call and the iphone is not completely dead yet. I was able to restore it back. But the "Slide to Unlock" is not functioning, In other words the bottom part of the touchscreen is not responding. But the upper part of the touch screen works, where I can power off.
I almost gave up. Any one having any suggestions. This is very frustrating. I put the iphone in a rice bag, hoping it will take away the moisture, but that didn't work either. I also tried using the hair dryer to remove the mositure, but no success either.

Jan 1, 2012I've bought an Xperia Play a few days ago and I noticed something strange. Sometimes a small area on the right side of the screen becomes completely unresponsive. It feels random and usually last for 10-30 seconds. I've tried the Sony Ericsson update service, and did a reset, but it didn't help. I'm thinking about taking the phone back, but the problem is very random and difficult to replicate, so convincing someone, that there is a problem might be difficult.
