My mullet phone's alert volume seems to - without reason - inexplicably drop from my usual 'medium' setting down to more of a 'low' volume - even though it says it's on 'medium.' A reboot of the phone fixes the issue but this problem is severely hurting my already limited social life.The phone says it's running the latest software version.Any suggestions on a fix? Or how to predict the volume drop?
View 1 RepliesCan the C3-01 be set to actually predict ahead as you are typing and save you keystrokes like most phones? Being able at to scroll through possible words after typing a word is not text prediction, I don't know why they call it that. The predict function is a basic feature that has been available for years on cheap phones even.

View 4 Replies View RelatedCan add third party notifications to the slots on Glance, I have just updated my 640 to W10M and I can no longer add them, WhatsApp for instance , when I add it from the list I just get a red cross in the box and notifications don't appear on the glance screen.
The core MS apps still work, phone, ski calendar etc. With double tap to wake absent on the 950 I'm going to have to reconsider upgrading if I can't have glance how I want it too, feels like a huge backward step, meanwhile ill have to go back to 8.1 ...
The Glance screen on my 1020 sometimes needs a few seconds to activate after I locked the phone. At other times, it starts showing the clock instantly. I didn't have this with my 920, where Glance always came on instantly after locking.

Issue: After upgrading to version 4.6.0.282 the ring tone volume is very low, even when the profile setting has the tone set to High I often miss the call, I have tried turning on "Audio Boost" with no change, tried a hard re-boot, no change. Volume of calls are fine, it's the ring tones, I have the same ring tone in use as before the O/S upgrade so this hasn't changed, no other (new) apps have been installed, just the O/S upgraded. I can't find any sort of master volume control setting in any of the forums is there such a setting, how do I get the volumes back to normal?
I have updared my 5800 from v2.1 to v5.0 now i have a problem with music player that i can't raise or low the volume from the volume keys when i press these keys nothing happen but these keys are working to zoom in and zoom out in camera ! and when i open music player it searches for music and podcasts and this search never end and when i go back to home screen music player still have the old view.

The mobile signal cuts off suddenly and i get SOS and after 4 to 5 seconds it comes back again.I also have one more problem. After disconnecting a call when i try to make one more call immedeatly then nothing happens in the handset. The call screen comes but the phone doesnt transmit or receive for 10 to 15 seconds. I find the call volume very low even in a quiet environment. If outside, I find it very difficult to hear what my clients have said.One fact business people love blackberry is because it has got good call and ringtone volume.N900's ringtone volume is good, but the call volume is just too low. (I have already used the side button to max the call volume, the strange thing is, 50% and 100% make very little difference...)

I would often try to increase or decrease the volume, and I realize I can't. I tried a battery pull hoping that would solve the issue. It's frustrating how a person can't hear music at all, and having no use of the volume buttons. I am still under my 30 day warranty, I'm considering taking it back and exchanging for a new one.
