May 6, 2015So close to being done with this phone as much as I like it. I've had so many problems. I now have purple dots on my selfie mode camera. They don't go away and Ive done a hard reset, too. I backed up using smart switch and when trying to restore I am getting an error and can't get my stuff back from smart switch. So frustrating. And even with the reset I still am having the small purple dots.

Sep 28, 2015I'm running stock 5.1.1, and even though my auto brightness is off my phone occasionally dims my display when it's on full brightness. It's not running particularly hot (37 degrees C according to my battery widget) so I don't know what's causing it to dim.

Dec 28, 2015I have a few pictures that are 'selfies' that I cannot delete. I copy them to another gallery folder and then try to delete them from the 'selfie' folder. When I do it deletes the ones I moved too.
I have tried renaming them, changing the date, cropping them. Nothing.
I have tried emailing to my pc, changing name, date etc, then texting and emailing back to my phone. Same thing If I rename them, and copy them to another folder, it automatically renames them back to the original name.

May 27, 2015I was messing around with the portrait retouch option on the camera. Â I had a message come up saying "having promlems talking a selfie, try a double tap on the back of the phone" or something like that. Â Does this only work with this app.? I dont take many selfies, but thats a great idea. Â I have tried it on the normal camera and supiror auto and it doesnt work. Â Is there an option somewhere to turn this on?

Feb 8, 2015Ok, I got the G3 and I wanted to test the selfie mode with the blemish thing or whatever or see what it'd do. I adjust the slider to mask any little bit of redness, but when I take the picture and go to look at it, it's as if the blemish slider was just for a preview since it doesn't apply on the picture itself. Like...I adjust the slider, take the picture, then look at it, and it shows what it would look like without the slider.

Jun 1, 2015Whenever I put on the camera to selfie mode I see a red light in the led flash, don't ask why I look at the back of the phone when I'm taking a selfie lol, but just something I noticed as I placed my finger on the red light it lit up like a Christmas tree! I understand this is the heart rate sensor but why would it light up on if put my finger on it and light off when I take my finger off... If I'm camera mode taking a selfie?!

Jul 3, 2010With my old Xperia Z1c, when adaptive brightness is on and the environment light is darkest, the screen brightness may be adjusted to, let's say, 0. Even you drag the brightness control bar to leftmost, the dimmest brightness you can get is still 0. But in Xperia Z5, you can go dimmer than that with the control bar, and this dim cannot be achieved using the same control bar if you disable the adaptive brightness. If one component cannot do something in manual mode, should not be able to do that thing in automatic mode either. So I believe that this is a bug.

Jan 31, 2016I've recently bought a Lumia 950XL. After few days of usage it started to behave strangely which led me to think a hard reset was needed but all those problems appear again after a day or two of using the device.
The problem is when I leave the phone for an hour or so, when I press the power button the display doesn't turn on but the iris scanner starts scanning and even unlocks the phone and after 1 or 2 seconds the screen turns on! The problem doesn't end here unfortunately. The brightness of the screen sets to its lowest and changing it doesn't have any effect it at all. The only working temporary fix is to restart the phone which is not really convenient.
Galaxy S6 :: Screen Brightness Set To Less Than 50%
May 23, 2015I've been using the TMO S6 for a couple weeks and my battery life is terrible. I have used greenery to hibernate everything I can, but as you can see in the attached picture the Android system is running overtime. I am lucky if I get 4 hrs of battery time. I also have the screen brightness set to less than 50%.
