View 9 RepliesJust bought my HTC One M9 and I've realised that the selfie camera is very blurry! I've tried playing around with the settings but nothing! This phone is second hand, is it possible that it's broken? What would the charges be for fixing it?
View 6 Replies View RelatedJust got this phone a few months ago and it's been great. However, something's wrong with the settings on my camera and I can't figure it out. When I'm ready to shoot, it's fine. But when I got into Selfie Mode, the whole picture is cropped.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo close to being done with this phone as much as I like it. I've had so many problems. I now have purple dots on my selfie mode camera. They don't go away and Ive done a hard reset, too. I backed up using smart switch and when trying to restore I am getting an error and can't get my stuff back from smart switch. So frustrating. And even with the reset I still am having the small purple dots.
View 10 Replies View Relatedon your 2nd gen moto X with moto voice, have you ever noticed when you tell it to take a selfie with a selfie command, it starts up the regular camera not the forward facing camera with a 3 second countdown timer?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI noticed that when opening camera app, the screen brightness slowly fades down. This makes it difficult to see what you are actually shooting. Can't remember it was like this before lollipop update.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy old s6 never had it, so does everyone else have it now too or is there something wrong with mines. I can't turn it off in the settings.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm running stock 5.1.1, and even though my auto brightness is off my phone occasionally dims my display when it's on full brightness. It's not running particularly hot (37 degrees C according to my battery widget) so I don't know what's causing it to dim.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy xperia z2 display flickering slightly in low brightness when auto brighness is off.........why is this happening is this normal??
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy S6 keeps randomly changing brightness even though auto brightness is off. And so I found this option via search within settings, which may very well be exactly what I was looking for but couldn't seem find it in the settings menu in developer option(which has already been enabled).....
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhy is it when I use the selfie camera the saved image is reversed? Is there a way to fix this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a few pictures that are 'selfies' that I cannot delete. I copy them to another gallery folder and then try to delete them from the 'selfie' folder. When I do it deletes the ones I moved too.
I have tried renaming them, changing the date, cropping them. Nothing.
I have tried emailing to my pc, changing name, date etc, then texting and emailing back to my phone. Same thing If I rename them, and copy them to another folder, it automatically renames them back to the original name.
I was messing around with the portrait retouch option on the camera. Â I had a message come up saying "having promlems talking a selfie, try a double tap on the back of the phone" or something like that. Â Does this only work with this app.? I dont take many selfies, but thats a great idea. Â I have tried it on the normal camera and supiror auto and it doesnt work. Â Is there an option somewhere to turn this on?
View 1 Replies View RelatedOk, I got the G3 and I wanted to test the selfie mode with the blemish thing or whatever or see what it'd do. I adjust the slider to mask any little bit of redness, but when I take the picture and go to look at it, it's as if the blemish slider was just for a preview since it doesn't apply on the picture itself. Like...I adjust the slider, take the picture, then look at it, and it shows what it would look like without the slider.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever I put on the camera to selfie mode I see a red light in the led flash, don't ask why I look at the back of the phone when I'm taking a selfie lol, but just something I noticed as I placed my finger on the red light it lit up like a Christmas tree! I understand this is the heart rate sensor but why would it light up on if put my finger on it and light off when I take my finger off... If I'm camera mode taking a selfie?!
View 2 Replies View RelatedCan't find the option to use earphone connector to act as shutter release. None of the settings seem to have that option in the app.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi won a coke selfie stick. It works by plugging in the jack in your headphone slot. The selfie stick work as expected when plugged in Iphone's headphone jack!however it doesn't work with my xperia z2 as it doesn't seem to recognize button press on the selfie stick. It vibrates and think that i have attached a headset! but i can't do anything else with it.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAny way to take selfie with either gesture or by tapping on imprint reader.
Just like you can do on Samsung phones, by either palm gesture to saying cheese or by tapping on heart reading sensor.
I am coming from s6 edge and that is one function i miss on my nexus 6p, other than that i love my phone.
With my old Xperia Z1c, when adaptive brightness is on and the environment light is darkest, the screen brightness may be adjusted to, let's say, 0. Even you drag the brightness control bar to leftmost, the dimmest brightness you can get is still 0. But in Xperia Z5, you can go dimmer than that with the control bar, and this dim cannot be achieved using the same control bar if you disable the adaptive brightness. If one component cannot do something in manual mode, should not be able to do that thing in automatic mode either. So I believe that this is a bug.
View 8 Replies View RelatedIt's as bad again after doing reset and clearing the cache, my M7 is still brighter and quicker, there's obviously wrong with it (M8), so it's going back....to be honest, I'm going to say to them (cpw) that if they don't/won't take it back, I'll sell it keep the M7

View 15 Replies View RelatedI've recently bought a Lumia 950XL. After few days of usage it started to behave strangely which led me to think a hard reset was needed but all those problems appear again after a day or two of using the device.
The problem is when I leave the phone for an hour or so, when I press the power button the display doesn't turn on but the iris scanner starts scanning and even unlocks the phone and after 1 or 2 seconds the screen turns on! The problem doesn't end here unfortunately. The brightness of the screen sets to its lowest and changing it doesn't have any effect it at all. The only working temporary fix is to restart the phone which is not really convenient.
I've been using the TMO S6 for a couple weeks and my battery life is terrible. I have used greenery to hibernate everything I can, but as you can see in the attached picture the Android system is running overtime. I am lucky if I get 4 hrs of battery time. I also have the screen brightness set to less than 50%.
