Ok, I got the G3 and I wanted to test the selfie mode with the blemish thing or whatever or see what it'd do. I adjust the slider to mask any little bit of redness, but when I take the picture and go to look at it, it's as if the blemish slider was just for a preview since it doesn't apply on the picture itself. Like...I adjust the slider, take the picture, then look at it, and it shows what it would look like without the slider.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhenever I put on the camera to selfie mode I see a red light in the led flash, don't ask why I look at the back of the phone when I'm taking a selfie lol, but just something I noticed as I placed my finger on the red light it lit up like a Christmas tree! I understand this is the heart rate sensor but why would it light up on if put my finger on it and light off when I take my finger off... If I'm camera mode taking a selfie?!

They don't go away and Ive done a hard reset, too. I backed up using smart switch and when trying to restore I am getting an error and can't get my stuff back from smart switch. So frustrating. And even with the reset I still am having the small purple dots.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI went into Airplane Mode today using the widget. It turned off my Wifi (but not GPS?) and went into Airplane Mode just fine. Then when using the widget to turn Airplane Mode off I see my Wifi turn back on, but the Airplane Mode isn't removed. The only way I can find to actually take the phone out of Airplane mode is to hold the power button and toggle it from the silent/airplane/power popup.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a few pictures that are 'selfies' that I cannot delete. I copy them to another gallery folder and then try to delete them from the 'selfie' folder. When I do it deletes the ones I moved too.
I have tried renaming them, changing the date, cropping them. Nothing.
I have tried emailing to my pc, changing name, date etc, then texting and emailing back to my phone. Same thing If I rename them, and copy them to another folder, it automatically renames them back to the original name.
So I noticed that in the Best Buy store I work in we have a display model of the G4 and the brightness of the selfie camera is quite a bit brighter than mine.

However, since last week, the phone doesn't go to sleep when I close the flip case. I think it doesnt detect the magnet anymore. I check the Holster and the magnet is still there. I use another magnet to run it over the Torch but the phone just doesn't go to sleep mode. I've pulled the battery out and even tried with other casing, it just doesn't work anymore.

With 5.1.1 any app that used setRingerMode(silent) no longer works. So putting the phone in silent mode is now broken for lots of the 3rd party apps.The D5803, D6653, D6503 go into vibrate mode, but not into silence mode.
