BB Bold :: 9700 / OS6 - Calls Won't Come In Or Sometimes Screen Not Turning On
Apr 29, 2011I've recently updated my 9700 OS to 6 and am having tons of problems with it now. My phone is now very slow, sometimes it freezes up and my phone calls won't come in. Every once in awhile my screen won't turn on even though I have not turned off my phone and the only way to start it back up is to pull the battery. I also get a message saying my application memory is low and I've never had this problem before nor have I downloaded any new 3rd party apps.

May 7, 2010My 8900 turns on the red light when I pop the battery in, I press the power button and the screen turns on but just shows white. After letting it power on for a few minutes I call myself (by using a friends phone) and I can answer and talk.
I searched everywhere. The computer can read the PIN #, just in case though I wiped it and reloaded the OS. Bought a T6 screwdriver, took it apart, disconnected then reconnected the display cord then turned it back on and same old white screen.

Jan 24, 2012Im new to the forum and have been looking for solutions to my Blackberry issue that ive been having. I have had issues with my screen for my Blackberry 9780 a few times so far. First time was within 3 months of the purchase. The screen went to a complete blank white, it wasnt an app error or anything. the phone worked fine, made and received calls, etc, but i just couldnt see what is on the screen. i payed to have the screen replaced and it only lasted another 8 months. Instead of fixing the screen again, i started to use a different 9780 that a friend of mine lent me. Its still fairly new and was working well until this past friday when i started to have the same exact screen issues again.

Mar 4, 2010Here's the deal.. I was driving today and all of a sudden my phone just stopped working.. I saw a notification saying I should restore my phone or contact apple.. My phone still powers on, I still have my custom lock screen and all but I can only make emergency calls and access SBSettings which doesn't actually work anymore. So I tried to restore the the custom firmware and itunes keeps giving me the 1600 error .. I have heard iReb can fix this but I dont even know if its compatible with the 3GS for this issue.. I have tried but its kinda confusing and hasnt exactly worked..

May 15, 2012I can make calls but I cant receive all of the calls. What happends is the phone rings then you swipe the screen to receive then there is nothing but the call has been answered, sometimes(not all) I can put on the microphone to fix this but this does nt work all the time.
The person is on the other end and No "mute has not been hit" the only thing i can think of is a loose wire internally or a software problem?? that does not mean its right, hence I am asking?

I tried checking if it was the battery and it wasnt, I tried rebooting it and it didnt work either. I know its not the screen because it would at least vibrate or make noise or light up but the only thing that lights up is a lil green light at the corner when I plug it to charge.

Aug 24, 2010Bought a Curve from a freind and was going great but now its stopped making or recieving calls. He had an 02 sim in it and I'm on Vodaphone and had no probs when I first put my sim in. It just comes up with call failed when I try to call out and wont take incoming calls either. Theres no barring on the phone that I can see and I get internet with an excellent signal.
