LG G4 :: How To Get Rid Of Floating Call Timer Icon
Dec 9, 2015
Especially when it always sits on the direction line of WAZE when I drive and when I try to drag it it often moves the street map and I find myself dealing with the phone screen instead of the driving....
I have tried installing various dialer apps, but when a phone call is made - the system phone dialer is at work and I cant get rid of this icon. Nothing in the actual system disables this buggy feature.
Does anyone know if it is possible to enable in-call timer in E72? I mean while making a call, I wish to see the call duration.Secondly, is it possible to know the duration of a received/outgoing call, other than the last call.
I'm on a pre-paid T-Mobile plan that does not support call forwarding of any kind. Only their 2-year contract plans do. The iPhone Call Forward feature is fully unconditional and carrier independent - if I understand it correctly - but I only need it to be active between certain hours of the day - when I'm at work and where there is no reception.
I just got the bold 9700 ver. 2 from ATT and don't have the phone icon. It is not hidden, I looked, and not in any other folder. All I have is a phone icon that is for Visual Voice Mail, which I am not signed up for and don't want to be. When I click the VVM icon it says do you want to sign up and I hit No and it just kicks me back to the main screen. How can I get rid of the Visual VM icon and get the Call log icon?
When I open certain apps, the s5 like toolbox icon appears, which can only be dragged. But when I press it, the icon doesn't response, basically it is useless. But I want to remove it, any solution?
So I noticed that some apps utilize a floating menu button (I think that's because the s6 doesn't have a dedicated menu button?) that appears like a circle with 3 dots on the screen wich you can move around.
However it appears to somehow be broken, as when I tap the button a menu appears for a fraction of a second and then disappears again, not giving enough time to do anything and of course rendering such an app useless.
I updated my firmware this morning and gave the phone to my son so he can play with it, and he dropped it...
It wasn't a big deal, it fell maybe 2 feet into a carpet. But the thing is, the background was still, there is no more parallax effect, even after reboot, and i've notice this right now at night.
Ive been able for a couple years to upgrade and downgrade blackberry device software on various models, both GSM and CDMA. But for some reason I have started getting this error: Microsoft Visual +++ Runtime Library -R6002 Floating Point Not Loaded Then a "fatal error" occurs with the blackberry desktop manager when I am in middle of upgrading OS. This always happens at "uploading ram image" part, just after "connecting to boot Rom" part of update process.I have tried on two different PC's, and tried on multiple devices. I have tried completely wiping the device of its application, and I have tried without wiping OS off. I have tried with desktop manager 5.0.1 and with desktop manager 4.3. I have tried connected to internet, and I have tried without being connected.Nothing seems to prevent this error. Both my PC's are DELL running XP.I would love some help, anybody have any idea what is going on? I need to downgrade some 8330's, and I also just need to reload the OS's on some other phones.
Since Lollipop update to 5.0 on my S5 Galaxy, whatsapp floating popup keeps showing up when i am using the phone (not unlocked) , no matter if i put on whatsapp config to do not show popup it always appears, it´s kinda annoying since when it is up, u cant hide it, or u click it, or u wait..
Is there any way to get over this? i´ve tried look for some another ways, but no specific way for galaxy S5.
I use Sprint and everytime I miss a call the Messages icon appears and does not disappear until I open the messages folder and open the missed call message. This is incredibly annoying for me, as I usually just press the send key and see what calls I have missed. Doing this does not clear the messages icon or notification.
I really dont need missed calls sent to Messages, the only reason I ever use the Messages folder is to clear the icon from my screen. Can anyone help me either disable this icon or alter what is sent to Messages?
I had my iphone in call forwarding mode but the iphone did not have the call forward icon showing at the top of the iphone. Any ideas what caused this? I missed several calls because I did not know my iphone was forwarding messages. When I turned call forwarding off, then on again, the call forward icon showed up. Was this a one time "glitch"?
I have noticed that while my brother's Xperia mini with ICS (.587) has floating app icons when in "deleting"-mode, my Xperia mini with same firmware doesn't show them floating? What's up with that? Is there a bug in my firmware and does everybody else have these floating icons in "delete"-mode?
I've a Nokia E72 No-brand and I had a nokia E51 and both of these two phone seems to suffer of the same issue: the icon of the calls in call log, whatever is the type of the phone that I want to call or that has called me, is always the same: that one of the mobile phone! And this is very annoying because when there are contacts with more than one number type, it's impossible (or quite complicated and frustrating) to identify the correct number to call or that has called me (if I check the missed calls or recent calls in Call Log).
Besides I see that this bug was corrected with the latest firmware in other phones with Symbian S60 5th edition and my question is: why don't fix this very annoying bug also in devices with Symbian S60 3rd edition (like Nokia E72)?
When I make a call there is a box near the volume that has 5 x's in it. It reminds me of dice. Any clue what it can be? I was going to go Verizon store tomorrow.
I've got a weird issue here. Sometimes when I send or receive a call, the person on the other line cannot hear me. The microphone just does not work. I have to switch to speaker phone before I am able to talk. The problem is very random so I haven't been able to determine if it's a software or hardware problem.
I recently saw a new icon appear on my screen when placing a call that I've never noticed before. It's a rectangle in the upper right hand corner next to the volume icon that has 5 or 6 little tiny 'x's in a diagonal
my issue is as described above. The phone has (as far as I can tell) allowed me to close the call but I cannot find a way to get rid of the icon other than by turning the phone off and then on again.
Recently I have noticed a new icon appearing in the upper-right corner of my screen when making a call. It's a small square that has a series of +s running diagonally across it. I don't know if I've accidentally changed a setting.
Can anyone tell me what a white phone icon means in the Call Log? My BF just got the Bold and asked what the white phone icon in the call log was for. I had never seen it and then looked at my phone and I also have a white telephone icon alongside one of my missed calls.Anyone know what it indicates? Other missed, received, or placed calls have the blue, green or gold.
It shows up during a phone call. It is near the volume indicator on the top right. It is a rectangle, half blue, half black, and has what looks like + signs going diagonally. Any ideas?
I had my Bold 9700 plugged into speakers and listening to Slacker like I have done in the past. Now when I try to make a call or receive a call the "Headset" icon flashes on and off as tho the headset is plugged in when nothing is plugged into the jack. This overrides speakerphone too. So basically I can receive and send a call but it cuts in and out quickly since it thinks the headset is taking over.
Not sure if this is a glitch or if something happened when listening to music. Nothing looks abnormal when I look into the headset port. I was thinking maybe I should update the software to see if its a software or bug.
I have a BB Curve 8530 and I have an icon on my home screen that I cannot figure out. It looks similar to the icon used for missed call or placed call except it has a curved arrow next to it. It is a gold phone receiver and the arrow is bent at a 45 degree angle. (Kind of like a backwards check mark with an arrow head on the bottom). I have a suspicion that it has to do with call forwarding since I forwarded calls to different phone # the other day, however, I cancelled that. I have checked my messages folder, rebooted, pulled battery, done an update, etc. Nothing works. I looked through the manual and it doesn't show the icon.
i have a new icon on screen during a call that is not listed in the curve 8530 manual. How do i find out what it is? The icon appears next to the volume icon during a call and it is square with dots going from the top inside left corner to the bottom right corner.what is this?
Is there any way to set the ringing time to a longer interval before the phone goes to "missed call"? My Lumia Icon plays only part of the ringtone. Before I can pick up the phone to answer, it's already gone to "missed call". Yes, I'm no kid, and actually put my phone down between calls.
I'm a pretty old Nokia user and have been using ONLY Nokia ever since my first cellphone.. I recently bought a X1-01 Dual SIM phone...Now the problem is, I cannot view the life timer surprisingly I use the code *#92702689# Shows me all data except life timer, how can this be?Every Nokia device comes with a life timer then why is it not present in this model of mine?
There are a million timer aps, and project management apps, and other variations on time logs. But I have been unable to find one that does precisely what I want to do. Start a timer on my iPhone when I begin work on a discrete project. Stop the timer when I stop work.Have an iCal entry created on my iPhone calendar which indicates that block of time. I do NOT need to manage a large number of projects, create complex reports, do billing, or anything like that. I am just looking for a way to be able to open iCal and get a visual assessment of when and how much time I am actually devoting to three-five priority areas.
Here is what I have been able to find and do NOT want:Manually creating iCal entries with start and stop times, that the app can then aggregate and report time spent.A timer that creates a separate log or standalone calendar - completely removed from iCal.
If I start working on a goal area at 3:15pm and stop 90 minutes later, I want to be able to start the timer. Stop the timer. And have an iCal entry that starts at 3:15pm and ends at 4:45pm automatically created in iCal.
