BB Bold :: 9780 Shuts Down For No Apparent Reason Several Times A Day
Aug 2, 2011I have a bold 9780, shuts down for no apparent reason sometimes whilst in a conversation. I take the battery out and do a restart red light comes on then nothing, plug in it to charger thinking the battery could be flat, still doesn't come to life, once again take the battery out sim out give it the magic tap, put it back to gather a gain, still nothing. Then all of a sudden it decides to come on redlight, blackberry loading bar, security check then its on, very strange, this happens several times a day.

Sep 25, 2011The first time it happened I was in a meeting, picked up my phone to check for messages and the phone was off. Power button would not turn the phone on. I had to take the battery out and back in again for the phone to turn on, battery was at 65%. It happened another time since then and the only fix was to take the battery out.It's not that the screen goes black like other posts. The phone shuts down.Did I get a bad phone? Should I take it back to Verizon? The only apps that I have downloaded are Astro, BatteryLife, Beautiful Widgets, Handcent, Daily News

Jun 5, 2012My iPhone 4 abrupty shuts off, incorrectly flashing low battery. Attach it to a charger and turn it on, and the battery percentage displays within the 40% range. Over the next week the shut off percentage will increase. I am on my 3rd phone. I purchased my original phone in Feb 2011. The problem started occuring Jan 2012. The phone was replace under warranty in Jan 2012.Buy April 2012 the same problem started occuring. Now it's June 2012 and the problem is occuring again. By the time the first two phones were replaced, it was shutting down in the the 90% range.

May 4, 2012I've noticed lately that my 3G has stopped working on my iPhone 4 for no apparent reason. I've tested it without the wifi on, so I know that there's no interference between the two. I've reset network settings multiple times, as well as resetting the phone itself (holding down the top button and the home button together). I usually get 4 or 5 bars, and I see the 3G symbol beside the bars. To the right of the 3G symbol is an icon that just keeps spinning indefinitely, while the phone tries to establish a connection. If I'm trying to open a page in Safari on the phone, I get the message "Cannot open page - Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the Internet." I have the latest software update (iOS 5.1). I can connect to wifi without any problems, but when I disable wifi, and enable 3G + cellular data, I can't connect to the internet anymore.

Jun 28, 2010I have had my curve for a little over two months now && havent yet had really any problems until about a week ago...I've noticed that out of seemingly nowhere, the red LED light will start blinking like I have a message or something and when I check to see if there are any new messages, there arent. I still get new messages and everything works correctly as far as I can tell, but that damn light will start blinking out of nowhere and it annoys me and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to stop it. the only thing that fixes it is a battery pull and it happens probably every other day. i have smrtguard installed on my phone and idk if maybe the light blinks when its doing an antivirus sweep on my phone or what.

I can't even mute it.The only changes recently have been a new battery, and an MMS forwarded from another user with a Voice Mail in it.The song is not in my music list. May 15, 2015This happens when I'm using apps that have a large percentage of white screen space (Google Books, browser between page loads, etc), or at least that's the only time I've noticed it.The whites on the screen are usually a cool white, but sometimes the entire white area of the screen will abruptly shift to a pinker hue and then back after several seconds. The first few times this happened I wondered if it was some kind of response to ambient light, like the auto dimming feature. However, I can't force it to happen, even by tilting/moving the phone or covering the light sensor right after it happens.
Does it sounds like an indication of a malfunctioning screen and something I should talk to Verizon about replacing? It's not a problem, just puzzling, but I just purchased the phone about two weeks ago so if this is a sign of a defect I want to fix it before it does cause problems.
IPhone :: 4 Getting "No SIM" Message For No Apparent Reason?
Jul 5, 2010I got my iPhone 4 on launch day and it's worked great for me so far. However, just today, I got a "No SIM" message 3 times. I haven't touched the SIM door and the phone has been in a iFrogz Luxe Lean case the whole time so there's no apparent movement at all.
The only thing that crossed my mind was that today does start my new billing cycle with AT&T. Is there any chance that they have some issue with my phone today since I had upgraded from a 3GS? It's a stretch, but I'm trying to figure this out. Makes no sense that it came up three times, but then after a while went away. Bigtime fail if I need the phone in an emergency or something.

She turns on her bluetooth to listen to her music and it will beep and display, for a few seconds, headset plugged, volume adjusting and then lowers the volume. Then about 10 to 20 seconds later it will display the same thing and raise the volume. 10 to 20 seconds later same display, lowers volume, etc. without stopping until you turn off bluetooth. Sep 4, 2014My iphone5 has been shutting down for no reason, or at leas no one I know of. I've tried resetting it but ir doesn't does anything.
When I put it to charge, it shows in 20mins that is 100% charged, but in 1 hour without using it, the charge goes to 60%, then the battery starts working apparently normal. But it keeps shutting down at any time, without me doing something.
