Jun 28, 2010I have had my curve for a little over two months now && havent yet had really any problems until about a week ago...I've noticed that out of seemingly nowhere, the red LED light will start blinking like I have a message or something and when I check to see if there are any new messages, there arent. I still get new messages and everything works correctly as far as I can tell, but that damn light will start blinking out of nowhere and it annoys me and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to stop it. the only thing that fixes it is a battery pull and it happens probably every other day. i have smrtguard installed on my phone and idk if maybe the light blinks when its doing an antivirus sweep on my phone or what.

May 4, 2012I've noticed lately that my 3G has stopped working on my iPhone 4 for no apparent reason. I've tested it without the wifi on, so I know that there's no interference between the two. I've reset network settings multiple times, as well as resetting the phone itself (holding down the top button and the home button together). I usually get 4 or 5 bars, and I see the 3G symbol beside the bars. To the right of the 3G symbol is an icon that just keeps spinning indefinitely, while the phone tries to establish a connection. If I'm trying to open a page in Safari on the phone, I get the message "Cannot open page - Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the Internet." I have the latest software update (iOS 5.1). I can connect to wifi without any problems, but when I disable wifi, and enable 3G + cellular data, I can't connect to the internet anymore.

Jul 31, 2012For no apparent reason, my BB 9800 seems to play a song (which BTW I do not have loaded in my media). I can't even mute it.The only changes recently have been a new battery, and an MMS forwarded from another user with a Voice Mail in it.The song is not in my music list. My ringtones and sound profiles are all checked. It is very strange indeed.Any ideas why my BB9800 would just start playing a foreign 30-sec sound file for no reason?

Sometimes it tells me to restore with iTunes, without any reason. Sometimes when I start the phone the language is set back to default english instead of italian. The internet APN deletes itself with no reason. These are the main problems. What should I do?

Aug 2, 2011I have a bold 9780, shuts down for no apparent reason sometimes whilst in a conversation. I take the battery out and do a restart red light comes on then nothing, plug in it to charger thinking the battery could be flat, still doesn't come to life, once again take the battery out sim out give it the magic tap, put it back to gather a gain, still nothing. Then all of a sudden it decides to come on redlight, blackberry loading bar, security check then its on, very strange, this happens several times a day.

I had to take the battery out and back in again for the phone to turn on, battery was at 65%. May 15, 2015This happens when I'm using apps that have a large percentage of white screen space (Google Books, browser between page loads, etc), or at least that's the only time I've noticed it.The whites on the screen are usually a cool white, but sometimes the entire white area of the screen will abruptly shift to a pinker hue and then back after several seconds. The first few times this happened I wondered if it was some kind of response to ambient light, like the auto dimming feature. However, I can't force it to happen, even by tilting/moving the phone or covering the light sensor right after it happens.
Does it sounds like an indication of a malfunctioning screen and something I should talk to Verizon about replacing? It's not a problem, just puzzling, but I just purchased the phone about two weeks ago so if this is a sign of a defect I want to fix it before it does cause problems.
IPhone :: 4 Getting "No SIM" Message For No Apparent Reason?
Jul 5, 2010I got my iPhone 4 on launch day and it's worked great for me so far. However, just today, I got a "No SIM" message 3 times. I haven't touched the SIM door and the phone has been in a iFrogz Luxe Lean case the whole time so there's no apparent movement at all.
The only thing that crossed my mind was that today does start my new billing cycle with AT&T. Is there any chance that they have some issue with my phone today since I had upgraded from a 3GS? It's a stretch, but I'm trying to figure this out. Makes no sense that it came up three times, but then after a while went away. Bigtime fail if I need the phone in an emergency or something.

BB Curve 8520/8530 :: Keyboard Lock Missing
Mar 22, 2010Downloaded OS 5.0.508 and now lock icon is missing. I can hold the A button and put it in what seems to be sleep mode, but my name and info does not show up on the home screen anymore. And you now push the mute button to unlock the keyboard. These are the only changes I have noticed. I liked the other way better.

Sep 12, 2010Today I noticed that when I hit the mute button on the top of my phone that it no longer takes me to my media folder. I thought the button may have broken somehow, however, after locking my phone I hit the button and it unlocked it just fine. So apparently its not broken, it just up and quit taking me to my media.Is there a way to set the mute button as a shortcut again so I don't have to go through the menu button to get to my music, pics etc?

Jan 30, 2011Just been given a Curve 8520 by my son, lucky me. When he gave it to me it had all of his settings for a different network and wifi settings. So i thought it would be easier to do a full wipe and start a fresh.However since doing this i have no email setup and no option to update software or wifi .I have tried downloading new software but it gets to the" Check for updates screen" and goes no further. I have to close it down and restart the computer. I have left this to run for over 3hours thinking it may work but to no avail. I have tried it with desktop software running and without, with and without a sim card.

Apr 10, 2010my Yahoo Mail icon decided to go missing (again) after I did a battery pull. Normally, I can resend service books once or twice and it'll pop back up. This time, however, no such luck. I've resent services books (around 20 times or more). I've deleted service books all together and then resent them. I've deleted the email all together and readded it. I've tried with another Yahoo address. Nothing is able to bring back my beloved icon. Does anyone else have any ideas as to how to bring it back? I really hate the mail icon with the little globe and I'm pretty sure I'd do whatever it takes to get my Yahoo icon back.
