Had my G3 since October. Over the last couple months phone seems to heat up within 5 minutes of starting a browsing session. Usually within 5 additional minutes the web page will freeze or lock up. Phone becomes laggy. Tried multiple browsers including chrome and boat. Phone is usually 98 to 104f degrees when phone becomes unresponsive. Is this common or does it souns like a faulty device?
My xperia z3 which was bought a week ago suddenly shows grains on the screen like when a tv shows when there is nothing played on screen. That time the phone is unresponsive. It turns back to normal after 5 minutes or so.
I have tried rebooting it SEVERAL times, the power button works, it opens and closes the screen but when I want to unlock my phone NO response to my touch!! What should I do?
I  dropped my Z3 on it's backed and the top half it cracked. The screen was undamaged but  the top half is now unresponsive when touched. Everything else on the phone works fine but the top half of the screen just doesn't respond when i touch it.
I bought my Z5 less than a month ago, it rarely fell. Today it slipped out of my pocket on a medium hard ground and the screen got cracked from the bottom left and the screen would not respond. I restarted it using the power+up volume button but it still is unresponsive.
I have had my Z2 for a while now. I'm very happy with my phone, but there are a few problems that i need fixed or deliver the phone back, because i cant use it like this. Â When i use the touch screen either calling a number, writing a text or anything, it aint always so responsive.
If i write a little word like: "Hi, my name is dave" then what i see written is: "H, Myname is dve" Â This is VERY hard for me to tolerate right now. I have always had samsung phones and i have never had any issues with the touch, but i wanted to test a Sony phone and i bought this one. My first impression was very good, but now its not that great.
I recently factory reset my S5 and restored it. Ever since the phone can become unresponsive. It randomly goes to a black screen the multi window light and back up light both come on as if it is still powered up. Sometimes it comes back on but mostly I have to pull the battery. This happens quite a few times a day so annoying.
From time to time screen WON'T TURN THE KEYBOARD JUST FLASHES AND NOTHING HAPPENS (I am trying over 5 minutes to type here in landscape mode and finally I gave up as the keyboard never shows up) Screen sometimes freezes or gets cropped or sometimes like in the picture (screenshot), tried factory reset and still no use...
Why do I always look forward to getting the latest and greatest update to my phone? When I had my MyTouch 2.1, Eclair trashed it. My wifes MyTouch Slide was trash with 2.2. Now the Defy. Ever since getting 2.2, it has been slow, unresponsive, random turn offs.
When I'm using my phone it suddenly freezes and it has to be restarted for it to be used again. This happens every 5-10 mins. It has irritating to have to restart it every 5-10 mins and it going off in between important work. Is there any permanent fix?
Not sure if I have a hardware or software issue. I just updated my 1520 to Windows 10 (build 10586.29).
The touch screen will randomly stop working. I'll be trying to scroll, open an app, etc. Nothing. I have to reboot the entire phone. I also get random ghost touch issues.
None of this was happening on Windows 8.1. However, I have only had the phone for two days. Used 8.1 for one day and have been using 10 today. That is why I am unsure if this is an OS issue or a hardware defect.
Woke up this morning to a completely unresponsive phone. Screen is blacked out, tried a soft reset and nothing happened. Plugged it in via USB to try and do a Windows Phone recovery and the computer isn't even recognizing it. Weird thing is when I set the phone on a wireless charger the charger lights up like it is charging.
Yesterday i dropped my storm and it shut off completely, no cracks on the screen nothing. I did a battery pull repeatedly and charged it over night, at first the red light would blink whenever i hit the power button and now its completely unresponsive, no red light at all. Will not even show its charging, my computer will not detect it.
My phone was working fine one minute, but the next thing I know it turns off, the led starts blinking blue and the screen refuses to turn on. If I hold the volume button and the power button, the phone vibrates and the led stops blinking indicating that the phone powered off. I can then power it back on and it vibrates and the led starts blinking again indicating it is powered on, but the screen remains completely black and does not show any boot up animations or respond to any touches. As you can probably guess, with an unresponsive display I can't boot into recovery mode or anything.
I am having an issue with the 950s screen responsiveness and hoping a few other ow red could confirm if they are also so I know if it's a bad screen or something else.
When the phone is laying flat on a hard surface the screen is completely unresponsive. As soon as a pick it up everything is fine.
The other issue is in regards to the keyboard which seems to be hit or miss on recognizing input near the edges of the screen.
I suspect it could be the tempered glass screen protector but I don't want to remove it if others have the issue if there is a known software issue.
It's stuck on the apple logo screen and I've tried entering into DFU mode, I've tried hard resetting it, and I've tried connecting it to my computer.
I don't know exactly what happened before this occured as it's my mom's phone and she said that all she did before this was accidently shut off the phone and when she tried to open it, it was like this.
I'm about to just let the phone's battery die in order to shut it off and see if that works but does anyone know what's wrong or if there's a faster way to cause the phone to shut off so I can restart it?
For the last couple of weeks my screen has been starting to act kind of weird. The problem is that the screen become unresponsive from time to time. For the most of the time when the screen stop responding I can "reset" it by pressing the sleep-button and then wake the phone up again or tilt it to landscape-mode. It's very enoying and I don´t know what to do. For example, just a regular text/sms takes like 8-9 "resets" as described above, to finish.
I use the latest software for both iOS and iTunes. The phone has not been a subject to "brute force" or any kind of liquids and part from a few very small scratches the phone looks like new (kind of).
My iPhone 3gs has become slow and sometimes unresponsive. There are boxes around the areas I press and when the phone turns on there's a box around the time at the top of the screen. When I press on the "slide to unlock" area a box appears around the banner holding the slide bar, the bar will slide along slowly and then once the keys for entering the password comes up boxes appear around the keys I press but the numbers won't enter into the password so I am unable to lock my phone. I am not quite sure what to do, I have seeked answers online but cannot find any.
My touchscreen has stopped working. There were no error messages. It was intermittenent for about one hour before it stopped completely. At first I could turn it off and turn it back on again. It would work again for about 5 minutes then become unresponsive again. I am unable to turn it off even now. I cleaned the screen, it wasn't dirty. I've updated to iOS 5. I restored to factory settings and its the same issue. It hasn't had a bang or anything.
I dropped my iPhone 3G onto hard tiles and the top half of the front screen popped out. Was getting flickering visuals on the screen as I tried to press the phone back together. I realized the power button had somehow turned sideways, so I attempted to push it back into place. The rest of the screen then popped off. I reconnected the wires but could not see anything on my screen. Put it on the charger last night and heard it beep like normal. When I woke up this morning, though, it was completely unresponsive. No visuals, no sounds, plugged into the computer and it's not being recognized. Tried to reset, still not getting a response.
I have updated my OS to Sym Belle. After it I am facing this problem frequently. Sometimes, all the widgets and shortcuts become unresponsive on all home screen. Only hard-keys works. I also wait for more than 1 hour. But nothing works unless I reboot the phone. Also there are three Nokia Belle folders in my mass memory with same contents, than which two I can delete? Also the touch screen behaves in an sluggish manner. As well as I want share one more thing is that there is no option in video player to decrease the volume by touching, we must do it only by hard volume keys...
My C drive is almost 50 MB free and E (Mass Memory) is 9 GB free. Its a seven month old device. such as log files, which softwares I installed (I only download apps and songs from nokia ovi) etc.
I've been having some trouble lately; with my iPhone 5s running iOS 7.1.2, 64 gigabytes of storage. It was running completely fine until a couple of days ago, when the screen began to not react to my touch. I initially thought it was a hardware problem, but the phone has not taken any damage as far as I can tell and the screen resumes working when I restart it. The screen works, for the most part, on the right side; but from the left edge to about a centimeter in it is completely unresponsive.
Occasionally, the phone will begin to act as if I am tapping it on the left side, although I am not touching it. Turning the phone on and off again provided a temporary fix, as did hard resetting it and factory restoring it, but after a few minutes of being on it becomes unresponsive again. I cannot unlock it without using the fingerprint reader due to the unresponsiveness, but once I do unlock it there is not much I can do without the left side.
I tried removing the screen protector but nothing happened, so that is eliminated. I did, however, get a new SIM card and service carrier recently, but that seems unconnected. The climate I now live in is much more humid, so that could be a problem, but a new, state-of-the-art phone like the 5s shouldn't be having problems with that, right?
After breaking my phone screen (iPhone 5s) I took my phone into a phone shop in town to get the screen replaced. After getting it home I realised that the screen becomes unresponsive after about 5 minutes of use.
Since I have installed the last update my screen very often doesn't react. For instance if I have an incoming call I cannot pick it up by "sliding" the screen does not react.I use this phone for business and it is just not acceptable that I am missing a lot of customer calls because of this problem.
As I make the connection via bluetooth, usually the phone's UI becomes unresponsive for about 5 min and after that it works. Can't lock it, can't do nothing, I just have to wait until it I can use it again. It ain't because of the headset as I use two different, BH-904 and BH-505.Getting a bit frustrated with this but don't want to take it to the Nokia Care until I have tried everything.
Is anyone else with a jailbroken app having a problem with the home button not always responding to clicks? Sometimes I need to click it 2 or 3 times. Seems like a software issue too.
Also on sbsettings when i adjust brghtness it changes, but when I turn the phone to sleep and wake it up, it's back to the old brightness.
Suddenly, today, while checking email, the screen on the device when completely white (there was absolutely nothing on ther screen - I've read that the WSOD often has a symbol or something on the screen, this was strictly white)So, I pulled the battery from the device for a couple of minutes. Upon replacing the battery into the phone, the LED lights up for a couple of minutes and then the screen proceeds with the typical reboot screen... the "blackberry" with the loading bar. Once the bar is full and loaded, the screen goes black and the LED turns off. From here, the device is completely unresponsive.
