LG G3 :: Editing Photos In Gallery For Red Eye Reduction
Jan 15, 2015
Is there a way to edit photos in the gallery to reduce/remove red-eye? I swear I could do this on my previous (Moto) Droids, but I couldn't find the option on the G3 last night.
I'm having a problem saving photos I've edited with the built in Gallery app. When I try to save them after making the edits I get a message "Unable to save changes" at the bottom of the screen.
One time I edited photos from my Camera Roll taken from our trip. About 6 of em i think. Then it crashed, gave me a black screen so i had to restart my phone. The next morning when i check my PHOTOS, the 6 photos were gone!! Now, while I was on Skype video chat, I took maybe 10 screenshots and of course you're able to hear the shutter every time. But when I check my PHOTOS, they are not there! I feel really bad because the photos i took were very important to me. I am so worried that this will happen again if i go on trip or capture a precious moment and find out that i got nothing.
I noticed for the past few days that whenever I try to crop a photo, my phone will automatically reset itself.I've tried shutting out of the app and restarting it, restarting my phone by pressing the lock and home button at the same time, and it's still crashing!
My camera will allow me to take a picture, and the image appears in the preview circle. When I click the preview circle, I get an error of a picture with a triangle and exclamation point.
Troubleshooting performed so far:
Reboot Deleted System Cache from holding power and down volume from powered off device Went to Settings > General > apps > All > Camera (and Gallery), and cleared Cache and Cleared Data Went to Setting > General > Storage > clicked on Cached data, and cleared
I did restore to the defaults on my HTC One and after the reset, the photos which I uploaded to Dropbox don't appear at the Dropbox tab in the Gallery of my HTC One. When I click on the Dropbox tab at the Gallery of my phone it appears: "This user has no album to show" the same happens and on Google Drive. Before the reset everything was normal.
Why most but not all of my pictures are gone from the gallery. Only had about 25. Today I have 6. I don't have them going to another service. I saw another person had this problem a week or so ago. Can't find an answer. Is this just a bug in android? My albums aren't hidden. How do I find the files on my phone? New to android.
I took over 30 photo's and 30 minutes of video today at my sons awards at school. I had sync turned off, all programs, Google, Dropbox, etc. I haven't rooted my HTC One M8 yet, so there's no other back up program running. I created a album in my gallery and copied the photos and video over to the album, the first option that pops up is to store them in "phone storage" I hit phone storage before I realized what I'd done. I didn't move them, I copied them. I went to Google photos and hit sync, then went back to the phones gallery, I had 2 copies of the photos and video, one set in the album I created and the other copy was on the camera. I was in a hurry when I did all of this. Normally when I create a album I move the pictures, not copy.
I went to Google photos and saw all the pics and video uploading, went back to the gallery and deleted the copy under the camera setting. The album I created is gone as well. Is there any way at all possible to retrieve them or are they completely deleted? I've sat here and repeated the exact same process with photos that are already backed up on Google and when I delete them from the camera they still appear in the album I created on the phone itself. I've created albums several times in the past and hit "copy" instead of "move", then go back and delete the copy under from the camera. I have Root Explorer installed and can't find them anywhere, I hooked my phone to my laptop and with no luck. if there's any way at all to get these photos back. it just made me sick to my stomach when I saw that I'd deleted the pics.
I have strange error today on my S6, i was taking a picture and go to quick view , when its open i only have one picture in side, no folder with Camera (295 photos in side) no Facebook (56 photo) only that picture what i take that moment. Then i explore folders (DCIM/camera) and all photos and video are there but my gallery only see this last one.
I tray to rename folder name and when i shoot new picture he make new folder (Camera) and i can see picture that i take, now i copy from old folder to this new, and still i don't see other picture,
I have a s5 my problem started Friday afternoon every time I take a photo it goes to gallery as it should do then it will disappear nowhere to be found also if people send me photos or video's to, from Facebook or whatsapp then go to the file then all of a sudden they disappear too I am having to save everything on drop box before it deletes its self's.
Gallery was populated with pictures from facebook, picasa and who knows where else. I am not able to delete any of those pictures. I've gone to Settings>accounts>Google and Settings>accounts>facebook and unchecked everything related to sync. I have gone to app manager, but Gallery is not on the list, so how do I erase the cache? There are zillions of photos that I do not need on the phone and many of them appear in duplicate, triplicate.
i have an lg g3 phone, but since last week all the photos stored in the internal memory are not showing at gallery app. I already rebooted the phone, check for updates, took out the battery, and nothing looks like the photos are gone.
but if i review the files stored, the pictures are there, just they do not appear in GALLERY.
I loaded a lot of photos from my computer onto my Electrify. All of them appear in the Gallery. The gallery is too large. Is there any way to remove a photo from the gallery without deleting it completely from the phone?
I just discovered that since the last 2 weeks photos I take no longer appear in any of the media image galleries - to find a photo I need to go into the Office folder and use the file manager. It seems that the problem may have coincided with me removing the memory card - hopefully not coinciding with firmware update! Is there a way to reset the image gallery to show all captured images?
I just switched from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to a HTC One M8. I have a problem with Dropbox (or my understanding of the way it works on HTC). As I understand it and from my previous experience with Samsung - pictures which are synchronised to Dropbox - are stored in 2 folders:
1) Camera Uploads. 2) Photos
Each directory of which is synchronised and viewable in your phone "Gallery". I previously used the HTC Transfer Tool to move stuff from my old phone to the new HTC.
I will add though I am pretty sure that the "integration" works in this manner. The pictures on Dropbox are not synchronising/showing up in my "Gallery" in the HTC One M8. Not showing up as Albums, Timeline, Events etc.
New 1320 running WP8.1. When I got it, I stuck in an old Micro SD card I had.It worked OK, but I had a new, bigger one on the way. That turned up today.
When I try to sync pics from my PC, they are added. But they do not show up in the gallery. The folders do not appear at all, BUT I have the Photos live tile set up to show Favourites...as I add and remove folders, the Favourites list get shorter or longer.
Add videos, appear straight away, same with music.
The same photos are on the other SD card I used and they were fine
Reformatted card ,same thing . In Storage Sense they are showing up as Other rather than Photos
Now that Samsung in their INFINITE wisdom has taken out the menu button. How to delete photos directly from Gallery? No.. not from File Manager or 3rd party software. Just the standard Gallery App that came default. If I wanted to go through my pictures and delete certain ones, then how? I can hold down on some pics and tag/select. There is a SHARE button on there but nothing else. No editing, No rotate option, no print, no move options. NOTHING.
I want to use a picture from Google photos as wallpaper. The only choice when I go to add wallpaper is to get a photo from my gallery. How do I get it from Google photos into the gallery so I can use it?
Goal: When plugging the phone into my PC it will downloads all the pictures in the “Gallery”(only) to a designated folder of my choosing via Windows 7’s “import pictures and video”.
I have not been able to accomplish this simple task. When I plug my phone in to my PC it usually says there are no new pictures (when there actually are new pictures). If I open the “Gallery” and then plug the phone in to the PC, it then precedes to scan the phone’s entire drive for new pictures. This takes a while it does get the photos from the “Gallery” along with tons of unwanted photos scattered throughout the phone’s drive.
Is there any way to direct Windows “import pictures and videos” to a specific folder(DCIM/Camera)? This worked extremely effectively with iPhone 5, but I’m thinking it can’t be done with the S6. It was super simple; just plug it in and presto, done.
Do have to use a 3rd party app to accomplish this with the S6?
I noticed within the last month or 2 my screenshot photos have disappeared from my gallery. Is this a result of the Lollipop updates. When I hit gallery it only shows camera and downloads. It used to show screenshots too. S5
I use an E73, but searched the forum and know this problem plagues the E72 and maybe other phones, too. In my case, the sequence went like this:1) Receive email with attached pictures2) View each picture3) Press the scroll key while each picture is visible, get a Save prompt, and choose the internal phone memory. A "Saved to Gallery" prompt appears.4) Pictures were written to the root area of C:DataImages and can be viewed in Gallery5) At some later point, delete one or more pictures using File Manager6) Now when running Gallery, placeholders for the images still exist, and trying to delete them results in the a "General: System Error".There is no high level "Refresh" option.
If the pictures were on the SD Card, deleting E:private101ffc31glxmdstn (the card's thumbnail database) would fix this problem, but these pictures are ON THE C: RIVE! Assuming C:Private (which is inacceessible from any file viewer) contains another thumbnail database, my only options appear to be1) Soft reset (Will this work?? Please. no guessing! )2) Hard reset3) Hack the phoneI am using the latest E73 firmware that was released just a couple weeks ago. Does anybody with an E72 (etc.) know if this problem was already fixed for other Nokia phones?I made a short list of E73 bugs here: /t5/Eseries-and-Communicators/Some-E73-044-088-firmware-bugs/m-p/904401#M83905 but this may actually be the worst bug of all because there is seemingly no workaround.
