i have an lg g3 phone, but since last week all the photos stored in the internal memory are not showing at gallery app. I already rebooted the phone, check for updates, took out the battery, and nothing looks like the photos are gone.
but if i review the files stored, the pictures are there, just they do not appear in GALLERY.
i loaded an app called "CLEAN SWEEP, and " Whats APP".. does any one of these apps change some properties that are hard to find that now makes any of my pictures i download from my messaging app, or camera go straight to "MY FILES" instead of showing in MY GALLERY like they used to do. I have deleted the old download folder to see if it wold start a new one , and it did, but still is not showing up in my gallery, just my files. the only pics showing up in my gallery are the ones on my sd card.

My question is that all my contact photos show up on my computer and Nexus but some photos do not show on my HTC. The same images are missing from my wife's HTC. These are not large images, some just clipart.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just switched from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to a HTC One M8. I have a problem with Dropbox (or my understanding of the way it works on HTC). As I understand it and from my previous experience with Samsung - pictures which are synchronised to Dropbox - are stored in 2 folders:
1) Camera Uploads.
2) Photos
Each directory of which is synchronised and viewable in your phone "Gallery". I previously used the HTC Transfer Tool to move stuff from my old phone to the new HTC.
I will add though I am pretty sure that the "integration" works in this manner. The pictures on Dropbox are not synchronising/showing up in my "Gallery" in the HTC One M8. Not showing up as Albums, Timeline, Events etc.
New 1320 running WP8.1. When I got it, I stuck in an old Micro SD card I had.It worked OK, but I had a new,bigger one on the way.That turned up today.
When I try to sync pics from my PC, they are added.But they do not show up in the gallery.The folders do not appear at all, BUT I have the Photos live tile set up to show Favourites...as I add and remove folders, the Favourites list get shorter or longer.
Add videos, appear straight away, same with music.
The same photos are on the other SD card I used and they were fine
Reformatted card ,same thing . In Storage Sense they are showing up as Other rather than Photos
I have several hundred photos on my new S6 that came originally from my iPhone that show up fine in my gallery. When I open Google Photo, I only see very few pics, mostly what was taken with the S6 and what is on my Google Drive.
View 12 Replies View RelatedSo I purchased a new nexus 6 a couple months back.. every so often pictures that other people have taken with their camera are showing up in my photos. I thought it might be a Bluetooth thing since I just got a pebble watch, but yesterday I received a picture that was taken at a local park a few miles away. I thought it was maybe a room mate messing with me, but they are just a freaked out by it as I am. It is very disconcerting to know that I am receiving other peoples photos that they have taken with their camera. Are other people getting mine? I can not find anything on the internet that would constitute receiving others camera pictures. I thought it might be an app, but then local people playing disc golf-- their pictures were coming on to my phone.. It has happened a handful of times.. maybe 10 pictures total. I am going to call some sort of customer service tomorrow.
View 24 Replies View RelatedEver since I updated my OS to 6 , everytime I turn my phone off it loses all the app customization like where they are placed on my home screen. The media folder is completely wiped every time aswell. I do not know whats wrong, but the camera, pictures, music, videos and instant messaging are there to click but have no picture and they are empty and all the apps that should be in them show on my home screen. When I put different themes on they all just show up as question marks. Does this happen to anyone else. I have to restore my phone every time it dies and it is a brand new phone blackberry sent to me.

I have deleted all my messages but it is still showing that I have 5 messages. View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got the HTC One M8 ( I previously had the HTC One X and loved that phone) and I have easily connected it to my car's bluetooth. BUT none of the phone book contacts have loaded. I cannot even get my recent calls (history). So if I want to place a call, I have to dial it manually on the car's keypad...which kind of defeats the whole purpose of voice calling and bluetooth connectivity.
I have done a factory reset of the car's system, disconnected the phone and re-connected it. And all of my contacts are on BOTH my phone storage and my SIM storage (which makes for quite a weighty phone book)!!
I have a Galaxy S5 and when I want to put my passcode in the numbers do not show up they are just shown as blocks, also the pull down text where you look at your recent emails, voice mails shows as blocks not text, phone is fine on all the other pages, text shows perfect.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat is happening: Notifications like photo comments, tags, favorites, likes, game notifications are not showing up under the action center. This is happening for a certain number of applications (Facebook, Twitter, Path, 6tag, etc). Mostly, none native applications. Only native applications and a few third party applications are showing up in the Action Center as well in the Settings under 'Notifications+Actions.'
What I have tried to do to resolve the issue: I have uninstalled the applications, reboot the phone, reinstalled the applications, checked the settings of the applications itself (eg. checked facebook settings for notifications - they were on). And lastly, restarted/refreshed/formatted the phone. Also, I tried to remove those icons from the lockscreen for their corresponding applications (I've read that somewhere in MS Answers), they said application notifications will only show if they are allowed to run in the background (check) and if they are not included in the Quick Status for the Lockscreen (check).
What I got on my hands: I have a lumia 1320 running the latest firmware available from MS/Nokia, Lumia Denim. I have a 16gb micro SD card in the phone.
Last year I went on holiday and at the time I took lots of photos, around 500 in total. However some of the photos aren't displaying the image of the photo, just black or white squares. When I took the pictures they registered as pictures and you could see the photo without any problem. Soon after I returned home, when I tried to upload them to my laptop, I noticed some weren't displaying anything anymore. The photo thumbnail is just a black or white square, and when I tap on it pulls up the 'photo' but there is no image. I'm uploading them to Facebook and I thought it was just an issue with the file format (even though they were taken on the iPhone) and maybe they would display once uploaded, but they haven't. If I remember correctly, when I checked the file size on my laptop they read 0KB. What happened to my photos? Can I get them back?Â
This is what it looks like. They used to be photos but now they're blank thumbnails. The exact same happens but in black on some photos.

When I do write an SMS to someone I clearly see her name but I get the reply on another thread with the phone number instead of hear name so 2 problem here, why another thread and why the phone number rather the name. Same thing when someone send me an SMS I do receive it as a number rather then the name and when I do reply it creates a new thread with the name of the person.

I restore a bunch of photo's and put them in DCIM > Camera folder along with the other pictures I've take, but those don't show up either. The only pictures that show up in the gallery are those that I take with the Camera. I checked the other folders for the .nomedia file, and I don't see it.

View 22 Replies View Relatedthe gallery app which was included isn't showing any pictures, which is extremly annoying, because many apps, like facebook apps, just show a black screen when I select "upload from gallery" If I open up the Gallery app the screen is just black and no pictures are displayed, only the exit and option buttons. Same problem is with the video app... I've already reseted it three times, but still no change.... And the crazy thing is, that with the photo browser app I'm able to see the pictures... Also there's a problem with switching the ring and alarm-tone. Exactly the same thing, I Do have music on my phone and the player is working... But I can't choose another tone for alarmtone, won't open fricking folder.

They are on the device storage though. But i can not figure out how to get them back to the gallery. Strangely enough, the pictures I took yesterday are in the gallery.
I have called Tmobile and Samsung both Are unsure of the issue. This is my last effort to get the problem resolved with this phone before I reset it. How to resolve this or is a reset needed?
Ever since the ICS update, my gallery likes to not show the pictures that are on my phone. They were visible pre-ICS, but are now not. If I use a file manager I can see that they are still on my phone and even view them, but they refuse to pop up in my gallery. I have tried the unmounting and mounting of my SD card as I have seen people wiht similar problems do, but have had no success.
Is there a new folder that the pictures need to be moved to to be seen by the gallery app? I'm guessing no because they did occassionally show up after the update, but now won't at all. Still, worth asking.
My camera will allow me to take a picture, and the image appears in the preview circle. When I click the preview circle, I get an error of a picture with a triangle and exclamation point.
Troubleshooting performed so far:
Reboot
Deleted System Cache from holding power and down volume from powered off device
Went to Settings > General > apps > All > Camera (and Gallery), and cleared Cache and Cleared Data
Went to Setting > General > Storage > clicked on Cached data, and cleared
I did restore to the defaults on my HTC One and after the reset, the photos which I uploaded to Dropbox don't appear at the Dropbox tab in the Gallery of my HTC One. When I click on the Dropbox tab at the Gallery of my phone it appears: "This user has no album to show" the same happens and on Google Drive. Before the reset everything was normal.
I have Android 4.3 with HTC Sense 5.5
I transferred all my photos from internal storage to my SD card. Now they won't show up in my gallery.

I checked into the my file folder in which opened sd card folder and checked everywhere there were not photos but some files which i opened and it wasn't opening there was written that no apps can perform this action . i switched the phone off and then restarted it no picture is visible. what is the solution ? how can i get my photos again?
