On my screen it is showing I have 5 messages. When I hover over the message icon it says I have 5 messages. I have deleted all my messages but it is still showing that I have 5 messages. I have removed the battery and rebooted, and I have connected to the internet via the software for updates but it is still showing 5 messages when there aren't any.
View 1 RepliesEver since I updated my OS to 6 , everytime I turn my phone off it loses all the app customization like where they are placed on my home screen. The media folder is completely wiped every time aswell. I do not know whats wrong, but the camera, pictures, music, videos and instant messaging are there to click but have no picture and they are empty and all the apps that should be in them show on my home screen. When I put different themes on they all just show up as question marks. Does this happen to anyone else. I have to restore my phone every time it dies and it is a brand new phone blackberry sent to me.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got the HTC One M8 ( I previously had the HTC One X and loved that phone) and I have easily connected it to my car's bluetooth. BUT none of the phone book contacts have loaded. I cannot even get my recent calls (history). So if I want to place a call, I have to dial it manually on the car's keypad...which kind of defeats the whole purpose of voice calling and bluetooth connectivity.
I have done a factory reset of the car's system, disconnected the phone and re-connected it. And all of my contacts are on BOTH my phone storage and my SIM storage (which makes for quite a weighty phone book)!!
i have an lg g3 phone, but since last week all the photos stored in the internal memory are not showing at gallery app. I already rebooted the phone, check for updates, took out the battery, and nothing looks like the photos are gone.
but if i review the files stored, the pictures are there, just they do not appear in GALLERY.
I have a Galaxy S5 and when I want to put my passcode in the numbers do not show up they are just shown as blocks, also the pull down text where you look at your recent emails, voice mails shows as blocks not text, phone is fine on all the other pages, text shows perfect.

My question is that all my contact photos show up on my computer and Nexus but some photos do not show on my HTC. The same images are missing from my wife's HTC. These are not large images, some just clipart.

When I sync, it says in iTunes that the album is on the phone, but it's not. What's gone wrong? I seem to remember this happening before, but I can't remember how I fixed it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat is happening: Notifications like photo comments, tags, favorites, likes, game notifications are not showing up under the action center. This is happening for a certain number of applications (Facebook, Twitter, Path, 6tag, etc). Mostly, none native applications. Only native applications and a few third party applications are showing up in the Action Center as well in the Settings under 'Notifications+Actions.'
What I have tried to do to resolve the issue: I have uninstalled the applications, reboot the phone, reinstalled the applications, checked the settings of the applications itself (eg. checked facebook settings for notifications - they were on). And lastly, restarted/refreshed/formatted the phone. Also, I tried to remove those icons from the lockscreen for their corresponding applications (I've read that somewhere in MS Answers), they said application notifications will only show if they are allowed to run in the background (check) and if they are not included in the Quick Status for the Lockscreen (check).
What I got on my hands: I have a lumia 1320 running the latest firmware available from MS/Nokia, Lumia Denim. I have a 16gb micro SD card in the phone.
When I do write an SMS to someone I clearly see her name but I get the reply on another thread with the phone number instead of hear name so 2 problem here, why another thread and why the phone number rather the name. Same thing when someone send me an SMS I do receive it as a number rather then the name and when I do reply it creates a new thread with the name of the person.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi loaded an app called "CLEAN SWEEP, and " Whats APP".. does any one of these apps change some properties that are hard to find that now makes any of my pictures i download from my messaging app, or camera go straight to "MY FILES" instead of showing in MY GALLERY like they used to do. I have deleted the old download folder to see if it wold start a new one , and it did, but still is not showing up in my gallery, just my files. the only pics showing up in my gallery are the ones on my sd card.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue where my BBM messages to one contact are being displayed with a ticked D on my device. However my contact is not receiving any of the messages. The contact can however still message me fine and they all come through without a problem. There is sometimes a slight delay on the messages coming through to me but not very often.
I've tried a hard reset by pulling the battery out of my phone while it is switched on. Infact I have tried this several times and it has not produced any results. Any messages i send to my contact always have a ticked D next to them when they have been sent. I have a blackberry Bold 9700.
Friend Created one group of 13 people in BBMessenger. Now when posts any msg to this group neither I receive that msg nor I can see other participant in that group except me on my handset (Curve 8520). I can receive any msg which is directly mark to me.

It is just a bunch of jibberish displaying on the screen. View 18 Replies View RelatedI'm new to blackberry. I purchased a Blackberry Curve 8520 yesterday and I am having some trouble with it.
Problem 1:
New messages wont show up, I have to go into general messages and select "View Folder" > "SMS Inbox"
I have it set to combined simply because I just want all my messages in the main message folder but whenever a new message comes in I have to go into the SMS inbox folder.
Problem 2:
I'm having the same trouble with my email, I keep getting the notification come up for a new email but it is no-where to be found.
Problem 3:
I've set my blackberry to the Vibrate profile, the only time it seems to vibrate is when I get a new facebook notification and thats it.
I wasn't getting any emails and all of a sudden all at once I got 58 of them. I guess they were saved up from all day and they came at once. Then, as of last night, I haven't been getting any emails to my phone. I tried taking out the battery and restarting it that way but that didn't help. I really want to be able to get my emails on my phone, because that's part of the reason I got a smartphone in the first place.
