Jul 14, 2010All my appointments in my PC have the correct time. However, in the iPhone, they show 1 hour earlier. Does anyone know how to get them to sync properly so that they show the same time in both places? Oh, this is the iP4, but I had the same issue with the 2g and the 3gs. Never took the time to try to fix it before.

Mar 28, 2011I can sync my bookmarks but my contacts do not show up. I have backed up my contacts to my sim card, restored from sim, deleted SE account, re-synced many times, each time the web recognizes my phone, syncs, bookmarks, contacts, calendar. Each time the bookmarks show up but no contacts. Tried auto-sync on and off.

2. The Calendar (HTC) widjet is working just fine. Though when clicking on it (or either accessing the app) it would show blank page.
3. I know it is syncing, since when I inserted new event thru the app, it immediately affected google calendar. the event itself, however, WAS NOT BEING SEEN IN THE APP.
4. I cleaned app's cache, tried to do recovery with an HTC rep's instructions (press power+ +button for 15 sec etc.)
Phone is not rooted.
IPhone :: Managing Podcasts - App / Software To Sync Podcast And Have It Show Up In Podcast Playlist
May 18, 2010I'm thinking about getting an iPhone or iPod touch and want to listen to podcasts. With my current MP3 player/software combination I have a problem dealing with podcasts. So I'm wondering if iTunes+iPod/iPhone can do what I want. This is what I'm looking for:
I want to be able to have a playlist containing all podcasts that I haven't listened to. When a new podcast comes out I want to be able to sync with iTunes and have the new podcast get appended to the playlist. Preferably I should not have to choose which podcasts to append. All new podcasts should just be automatically appended. I don't want to have to make a new playlist everytime I download a new podcast and I don't want to lose my place in the playlist. I just want to sync the podcast and have it show up in my podcast playlist. Once I've listened to a podcast I want it to be deleted and taken off of the playlist. Thus the playlist should just act like a queue where podcasts that have been listened to get deleted and new podcasts get appended. I know that iTunes/iPod has some functionality in dealing with podcasts, but can it do all of this? If not, do you know of any device/software combination that can perhaps non-iPod or software for the iPod touch, something like that? If there's an application which can do this without syncing to iTunes, that would be work too.

I have Media Sync loaded fine. It reads my Windows Media Library just fine. When it loads the playlists/music for selection to sync, most show up as "Supported" in the Status column. However there are many that show up as "Not Found". Is there a file size limit or file name/path size limit that could be causing this? These are not DRM files. It happens to music that I have burnt from CDs and a given CD, for example, might have 13 songs on it and have only 4 of them show up as "Not Found". I'm not seeing anything like this in the forums.

I've restarted my phone several times, hoping that would do it. I've removed all my ringtones, then re-synced them but still nothing."
I searched the forum, Googled this and found that a lot of user have the similar problems but no sound solutions. It took me a long time to finally get this problem fixed before I found an article how to sync iPhone ringtone on mac. I learned that iPhone Ringtones have a lot of limitations like it's up to 30 secs, none of the song fields (song name, artist, composer, etc) have special characters etc, which I didn't know before.Well, if you have the similar problems, I am sure that can help you out.

Within this app you could save the contact to the adressbook and so I did. But now I can't seem to find the contact. I've looked in both the Phone app aswell as in the Contacts app. Can't find it. But if i search with Spotlight the contact is there. I can enter it and all the information is right there. The Edit button is not there so I can't delete the contact from there.If i go into Groups I'm only able to chose "All from my Mac".
