i live in a kinda small town and they claim they will have a lot extra iphone 4s what time should i leave for the store to get a 32gb phone? i was thinking maybe 5 pm the day before? :P

I can't take my phone into where I work b/c its a secure facility where absolutely no electronic devices (no beepers, no phones, etc) can come in, but its getting too hot here to leave it in my car all day. Any thoughts on what to do? There's a lot on line about not leaving the phone in a hot car but not many suggestions as to what to do with it!

i have been stuck in a group chat since january. Some days it useful but most days its just a drain on my battery life and vibrating annoyance in my pocket. IT IS ABSOLUTELY rediculous that apple would create a collaborative message program without a way for the user to exit. they are so focused on voice regonition and other useless software when they hve major issues to address like this. I think apple should refund my messaging bill for the past 3 months or buy my next nonapple cellphone.

Instead of spending $200 a piece on Droid Incredibles, we're both strongly considering the joining AT&T and picking up iphones tomorrow. The phones are the same price, and although the andriod OS has some nice features, and verizions network is allegedly superior, I dont think either offers enough features to keep us. Really, we're already leaning heavily towards switching, and I'm hoping some of you can post feedback here to push us over the top.
If you've left Verizon for AT&T, or have used both the android and Iphone OSes, i'm particularly interested in your feedback. My main concern with AT&T is the dropped calls and poor data coverage that everyone complains about. Also, will the Iphone ever get flash support? with the newly instituted data caps, streaming alot of video probably isnt a good idea anyway, but i'm just curious. Finally, is there an ETA on when the Iphone will support the newest google maps? My friend has an incredible and the 3D GPS maps accompanied by turn-by-turn voice directions was awfuly impressive. I've heard the Iphone will get the app at some point, but never anything concrete.
So as well all know, AT&T uses a ridiculous set of cellular frequencies that not only produces a lower signal (compared to Verizon,) but also puts a lovey "DA DA, DA DA, DAT DAT DAT DAAAA!!!!" sound in my speakers! (GSM interference) I've tried the tricks with the little things you put on your speaker cables to catch the stray RF noise but they did not help and I am SICK of this stupid sound that gets transmitted into every set of speakers I have.
The only way to fix this is to shut off the cellular network by putting the iPhone into airplane mode. Then, I can play music from my iPod and not have the stupid interference playing as well. The only problem is, now I can't stream online music like Pandora, etc because Airplane mode shuts off my WiFi? So is there any way I can shut off the phone, but leave on the WiFi?

Still can't delete VMs at times (and have tried closing all apps, restarting phone, calling VM from another phone...) BUT NOW most importantly, at times people leave a VM but I only get 'missed call' in Recents but no VM. It seems to happen over a period of a full day then it's fine. Just leave it outside my door at an apartment complex.Someone was home too and they didn't even knock or ring bell.Just leave package at door and leave. Luckily person home found it when they went outside. Not sure how long it was there.
