Aug 17, 2010I tried to search but couldn't really find what I was looking for.With my HTC Touch I had a program on the phone for when I plugged it into my computer (USB) I would be able to control the phone with my keyboard and mouse.Is there anything similar with the iPhone?
I know about veency, but I am looking for an app (jailbroken or not) where I can plug the phone into the computer and NOT have to install any new programs on the computer.Everything I have found either talks about veency, or a program you can download to get this to work.

Now I bought the keyboard and mouse and what happened, nothing.Both devices are found when searching bt -devices. Keyboard doesn't even go to the pairing, it halts to password questions (where I type 0000). Then message:" Keyboard cannot be connected).With mouse, I can get one step further. When prompting password, I type 0000, the mouse gets paired, but when I try to connect, message comes:" Bluetooth connection cannot be created". Or similar cause the message is in finnish language. But I think you got the point. Items I have purchased are:

May 14, 2011I have the Motorola keyboard and MS 5000 BT mouse. They each work well individually, however when used together, the keyboard frequently disconnects. When I go to a text field, the software/screen keyboard comes up instead of using the hardware keyboard. If hit a few keys on the hardware keyboard, then it seems to reconnect and I can continue using it. It disconnects again once I leave a text field. I'm using a 3G version of the Xoom, but without 3G activated, so just using WiFi.

This is no so critical, but service restarts(?) with broken functionality: text in field is not visible and phisycal keyboards can't change layout.

Jun 11, 2012In the past, I was able to sync my iPhone 4 with iTunes in Windows 7 and even charge it using the usb cable but suddently stopped working. After formating the PC and installing everything again the PC the iPhone didn't show up in my computer, so I removed all the usb and I found out that the issue only appears when the Logitech Unifying receiver for my mouse is connected. Obviously, I can't use iTunes without the mouse, so I can't make any backups, transfer music or photos...

Oct 18, 2012I bought the official Blackberry Playbook mini keyboard a few months ago. It worked once. Failed second time ( I assumed I hadn't charged it enough). Tried again recently, and it definitely isn't charging. No lights; no syncing; no pairing; no nothing. I've tried different chargers and different outlets, and the darned thing is dead. And, I am very certain it is not due to any product abuse, etc. It has just died. I either have a defective product, or is there some trick or reset button or some trick I need to know to charge this device? Or, have I just thrown away $120 on a piece of junk?

Most of the buttons on the top row have stopped working, so I can no longer type the following letters: Q E R Y U O. This renders the keyboard useless. Jan 23, 2012My Xperia Mini Pro has a fault with the keyboard - when I slide it out it activates, ie the background light comes on but then it goes out. Sometimes it stays on a for a few seconds whilst fully open but then goes off. Nothing physical has happened to the phone and it doesn't seem to be a loose connection or anything. I've tried updating the software but that didn't help.

Dec 12, 2010i just bought myself the blackberry-branded mini keyboard for the playbook. i know i could've gone with many aftermarket ones, but i didn't want the hassle of partial incompatibility. now this keyboard has a touchpad included too. i'm starting to get the gist of how to use one finger for left-click and two fingers for right-click, etc. but what i can't seem to get is how to text using the mini keyboard's touchpad. i've looked at several Internet videos, but i see it being used in a few of those videos but no idea how they do it. i suppose i could just bring my fingers upto the screen itself and just do it that way, but that sort of defeats the purpose of having a keyboard/pad.

Feb 27, 2011I gladly installed the 2.1 update on my girlfriends mobile and everything worked fine. However, under "Settings - Language&Keyboard" there is NO menu item for Android keyboard.... As it appears, she uses the standard T3 enty mode and simple does not like the recommended words. There is no way to set it back now and I am thinking about playing it back to 1.6 despite the advantages coming with it.
Is there another way to change this setting?
