In the main screen and the screensaver screen, the status bar is off to the left. Still on the top but moved half a screen to the left, only half the clock and the battery info is showing. It looks right when any apps are viewing.The phone is not jailbreaked or anything...

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my Nexus 5 on the 2nd of this month. I'm on Android 4.4.4. Just today, I was out and about and I realized that, although I was going into settings and turning Wi-Fi off, it just kept turning it right back on! (I had been using the Wi-Fi at the mall, then later I went to a friend's house and connected to my friend's Wi-Fi, which did not work.) So, I turned on my data, only for it to turn off after I guess about 30 seconds. I turned it back on, went on WhatsApp, in the middle of replying to a text from my friend it goes off yet again! What the... So, I went into settings and turned data on, and Wi-Fi off. As I watched, the Wi-Fi switched itself back on, and, predictably, even though there were no wireless networks to connect to, my data turned off as well.
This is really inconvenient. What could be causing the problem? I don't think I've downloaded any apps recently, but they do sometimes update. It was working fine on Thursday, but I've had my data off since then. I also booted into Safe Mode, and the problem doesn't seem to persist.
I had a contract with Vodafone over 2 years ago and decided on the BlackBerry Storm 9500 handset . After 6 Months of receiving the phone it developed a fault, i have returned it for repairs on a number of occasions and the reoccurring problem has never been solved & fixed . After eighteen months the phone will still not turn on and when it does work it turns off within one hour of it working, i have been to the Vodafone shop in Torquay South Devon and they supplied me with a new battery to try but it still switches itself off . I ave talked to Vodafone and i was told a fault has been found on this particular model of handset. After 24 months of having this contract phone i have now upgraded to a BlackBerry Torch . I would like to return the 9500 handset to get a free full repair or a replacement as i now need to use both phones. This phone has also had problems with freezing and locking up

"Plane mode" is unfortunately not an option as it doesn't allow listening to the radio... (whereas it allows you to connect yourself to a Wi-fi network or to receive GPS signals, for instance) Would be great if there was a widget "Enable/Disable GSM networks" or something like that, as there is for other functions... but I couldn't find such a thing.
What is the jb app that displays info icons on the status bar. I had it on 3.0 but can't remember the name of it after upgrading

View 20 Replies View RelatedCan anyone enlighten me on how to change the status bar so it can include a logo (beside carrier) like I've seen on several posts (apple logo, oo7 logo, etc).
I tried SupremeSettings but that only let me change the carrier text and also proved to be quite conflicting with other apps until I removed it. I'm running 3.1.2 so some older mods don't work either.
I did a jb a couple months ago, I loved it but then it froze on me causing me to restore. So I decided not to jb again. So now instead of having the original "AT&T" on the status bar, it has my name. Do I need to jb it again to change it back? I also remember when I did a back up after a restore, it went from AT&T to my name.
I have a 3gs, 3.1.3 and I do remember saving some sort of file to someone(in order to jb again i suppose?)
I have just returned from Stockholm and have noticed the 'phone and arrow' icon (see attached - top left of the display). Wondering if anyone knows what it means, if it costs me and how I find what's causing it.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have this icon that wont go away dont know what it is for, just a app icon that says "Waiting" below it, never downloads anything. When I go to App Store > Purchased > all my apps are already installed so no clue what it is. It will go away briefly but then come back its very strange. I have tried turning off phone, hard resetting phone. Then even hold down to see if let delete it but when all the other icons wiggle this one doesn't have the x to delete.

my ringer and other sounds are not working even though i did not change any settings. I have already gone into settings, sounds and checked to see that ringer and alerts change with buttons is on and at the max volume but still doesn't make any sounds.

Just updated my Iphone 4 to 5.1.1 everything was going smooth and then all sudden at the activation screen, my iphone keeps saying it is "Searching..." I placed my sim card in the slot and still says "Searching..." took out my sim card still says "Searching...." Restored multiple times, Resetted the Phone multiple times and still "Searching..."

As of last week the facebook iPhone app doesn't post my "status update" to the recent activity but it posts it to my profile wall.When going to face books mobile or desktop site i do not have this problem.Also when trying to upload mobile pictures it gives me a black screen and says it can't be uploaded. Any ideas?
