I tested with headphones and mic and with the telephone itself and on speaker. Dictaphone does work. I checked the mute button.

Apr 14, 2011With my new C5-03 I have several times that when calling or being called I can not hear the caller. The connection is there alricht: when switching on the loudspeaker I can hear, but not anymore when switched back to phone. I have reinstalled software with Ovi-suite without solution. And went to the Nokia Care centre: it worked for a week, and again same problem. Does anybody know more about this? Is it a mechanical failure or lose contact? Is this a known failure with C5-03, or other symbian phones, and most important is there a structural solution?

My cell is out of warranty. I have two Nokia C5, the sound of the other one with firmware version 062.001 is pretty good.

Lately when placing and receiving calls I cannot hear anything put dead air. No ring tone when calling out, or the voice of the caller when accepting a new call. To fix the issue I have pulled the battery. However, a few hours later the issue will start again.

Mar 22, 2012I have gotten three very irate calls from someone who's called ID is from Ohio. He said my phone has called him over 40 times today. I have no idea who this person is, and my call list shows no outgoing calls from anyone outside my contact list.
What's going on here? Is it possible someone has "hijacked" my number and is spam calling people from somewhere else in the country? It apparently is my number that keeps calling him (he called me back, so he obviously has my number) but my call list shows nothing.

The problem is, I an in San Jose, CA. I know this is not the end of the world, but i would like to be able to fix it. My brother got his iPhone at the same time, but his location is correct. Also, i checked my map app, and it pinpointed my location correctly. My only problem is that it says im calling from a different location.

Apr 23, 2012Since last week, my speaker of the black iPhone 4 is realy silent while calling. I set the volume to max, tried a restore, but nothing worked.I also cleaned de speaker carefully to get every little dust grain out. but still I only hear a realy low voice while calling.The speakerphone and the headset work fine.So I think the speaker has to be changed. My warranty ran out on february so I think I have to pay for repair.
