I have a movie that I unwisely purchased on my iphone, which now I cannot get removed from the phone. I even deleted the movie from my itunes account, then synced the iphone back up and nothing! No red delete button comes up, I've already heard that. Also when I try to play the movie on my iphone to see if I can delete it after I've played it once, a message comes up saying You do not have permission to access the requested source. I can get into my itunes account no problem, so I have no idea what is going on. The movie is taking up a lot of space on my phone. I was able to remove music videos and tv shows from my phone with no problems, so don't know why this movie is so stubborn. Might it be because it's rated R? If so how do I "get permission" to access it? I can watch it fine from my PC.
Updated both iPhone and iTunes and now receive the following message:iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone". Go to the Summary tab in iPhone preferences and click Restore to restore this iPhone to factory settings. I don't want to restore to the factory settings. I am afraid of losing everything I have on my iPhone.
due to my iphone got problem in hanging recently and my friends suggest me to erase all contents and setting to do a master reset. I have done it just now, however, after it has done and ask me to connect to itune with usb cable. I connected to my itune, but it is not working and i cant restore the IOS to my iphone at all...this cld be due to itune cant recognise my phone name as previously i do put a name on the phone but now i can only see generic terms "iphone" appear in the itune device (left side) there. ANYBODY CAN HELP ME TO RESTARE IOS ORIGINAL SOFTWARE??
I've sync'd my music on my iphone before, but I have not sync'd any apps yet, and it's telling me it will delete all content on my iphone and replace apps that are on my computer/itunes, which has none. So my question is, will I actually lose all of my data/saves, and locations of apps if I start to sync now? If so, any way to avoid this?
I have two email accounts, 1 pop3 and 1 imap - this problem of not being able to see the email content applies to emails received through either account. Using a 5 line preview of the email, I can see the start of the content. If I reply or forward, I can see the previous email content. Is this an issue with oS 5.1.1?
All my contents on my iphone 4 are lost after I upgraded it to ios 5.1.1. That is includding my contacts too.
Every time I connected my iphone4 back to Itunes. It showed a pop-up menu said " Itunes was interrupted while restoring the contents of the iphone, would you like to restore this iphone again now?" but when I clicked "continue restore" button. It showed another pop-up menu said "an error occurred while restoring this iphone(-50)."

how to remove an enterprise policy ( in the iPhone policy setting) without the remove button shown? I have tried to to backup and then restore thru iTunes whithout success.
got my MacBook Pro. But need help on how I can transfer my iPhone contents (songs, apps, photo and etc) to the Mac. Unable to use my old laptop. Can I just connect my iPhone to the Mac and will the iTunes be able to syn the phone's contents to Mac? I heard if computer library is clean and if syn with iPhone, the phone contents will be cleared out?
On an iPhone 4s which has been working fine mail from hotmail is now only showing the headings. The first 2 lines preview ok, so it is seeing the content, but tapping the message only shows the heading.
When I add an iTunes Smart Playlist to my iPhone 4, the tracks are not in the same order on the iPhone as they are on iTunes. When the iPhone is connected to iTunes, the playlist appears to be sorted correctly but on the device itself, it's out of order. All of my playlists in iTunes are sorted in Album by Artist/Year order, and they occasionally sync the songs in the correct order, but then the order changes.
I bought an iPhone 4s and this does not work properly. When I open a page that contains Flash in Safari, simply does not open and says it is not compatible.
I cannot read the content in the emails in my hotmail accessed on my Iphone. I can see the sender name and subject line. This is a change from just two days ago. I've synced the phone and I've shut it off and restarted it.
Everytime I plug my iPhone 4s into my computer and try to sync with iTunes, I get an error saying, "iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone "xxxx", Go to the summary tab in iPhone options and click restore to restore this iPhone to factory settings". I have done this and still get the same problem. I use Windows 7. I have tried running both on and off administrator mode and with and without my Zonealarm firewall. This phone has never been jailbroken.
Somewhere on my iPhone there is a folder that can be accessed to recover an accidentally deleted email. I know it is there but cannot find it now. I know this is not a difficult question, but my brain is fried now that I need to recover it.
