I got 2 computers, my main desktop which I use to sync everything and my laptop that i would like to sync only contacts (maybe calendar too). How can I go about doing this?
Is there a way to send a gaint vcard to my laptop's outlook to "sync" my contacts, something over bluetooth, or can I use itunes?This is the setting I'm looking to have

Jun 19, 2012I am always using manually manage my videos and mp3 s 5.0.1 ipad with many computer.just bought an iphone with 5.1.1, and i realize this function HT1202 manually manage now was disabled for many computers/itunes management. Every time it manually manage checked on default computer [home] and the iphone plugged into another computer the manually manage not checked.If i checked at those other computer , it will erase and sync.This not happen on 5.0.1 ipad, it still checked at other computers, so i can drag and drop as i want. The itunes said now only able to manually manage only 1 iphone (5.1.1) library/itunes/computer only.

Jun 13, 2012My current Macbook Pro is now five years old and I soon plan on buying one of the new flash based Macbook Pros. I would like to turn my old Macbook Pro into an Itunes/media server and keep all of my music stored there. I do not want to keep any music on the new computer. Is it possible to sync my iphone with the new computer (contacts, apps, etc.), but transer music off of the other computer onto my iphone. If it can be done, can it be done wirelessly, or would I have to use a USB cable every time I want to update my music.

No problem.Then plug it into Mac 2. iTunes reports the iPhone 'manual manage' checkbox is unticked. If I try to tick it, it prompts me to erase the iPhone and sync with the Mac 2 iTunes.Any tips for why Apple's guide isn't working?

Aug 16, 2013I just realized, while commenting on another thread, that I am no longer tied up by wires. Ever since I switched to L920 (and now 1020) and Windows 8 - since Zune has become useless - I've found myself going wireless (including charging). I think I've used Windows Phone Connector, or whatever its called once, and I completely forgot about it. We can now update/upgrade software via cellular radio, and sync our files to the cloud (Skydrive and ATT) and access them from any device. Hell even my music (Xbox Music) that was stored on my broken laptop just appeared on my new laptop and on my new phone without me even lifting a finger.
Yes, I know we still need it for times when we don't have internet access, but I can't remember the last time I did not have internet access. I just find it so much more liberating.

Apr 8, 2012I have been using a friend's computer, which has a CD drive, to purchase music from iTunes and burn my CDs (purchased years ago) onto the computer for synching with my iPhone4. Well, that computer finally "died," and I purchased an Ultrabook, which does not have a CD drive. However, I did not think much of this, as everything these days can be downloaded, it seems.
Well, when I hooked my iPhone up to my new computer (after installing iTunes on the new computer), it only synched the songs I had purchased from iTunes. It did not synch ANY of my own music, which I burned from my CD collection. I tinkered with some of the synch settings, and all of them will seemingly wipe out my iPhone library and replace it with the iTunes library from the new computer.
To clarify, about 90% of my music on my iPhone comes from my CD collection, which I spent WEEKS transferring So, going through that BS again is not an option, nor is buying all the music (some of which iTunes does not have), since I already purchased all of my CDs.

The next day, I synced my iphone with the desktop to put some new music on. When it was done, I had all her apps on my phone. Is there anyway to get the computer to recognize different iPhones and iPads on the same iTunes account and not do that? Had the problem with my iPad too. Got all my phone apps on it and had to do some deleting!

Apr 23, 2012i am stuck in a tricky situation and would things first i know this is quite a frequently asked question as i have done a bit of searching on the net about it however could not not find anything that totaly matches myproblem, i have recently purchased a brand new laptop which runs windows 7 compared to my old desktop which ran XP, i have tried syncing all of my iphone 4s contents onto my new laptop's itunes library including everything not just music or videos and i got the infamous pop up "The iphone is synced with another Itunes library. Do you want to erase this iphone and sync with this Itunes library" the problem is that my original itunes library does not exist no more as my desktop was completly wiped and had XP redownloaded onto it again because it had a virus, which also wiped all of my hard drive so i cant even get everything i backed up off of my phone from it, i have managed to sign in to the itunes store and allowed my laptop to work with itunes,i have also transferred my purchases from my phone to my new itunes library but this only includes my apps and obviously not my contacts and photos and everything, i still get the pop up if i go to sync my apps from my library anyway, is there any way i can delete my original itunes library without it even existing anymore so that i can just start afresh and sync everything i have on my phone now directly to my new itunes library? or do i need to purchase this iphone rip/backup/store software that everyone goes on about or something? to be honest its really annoying my now as i just want to be able to sync everything like how i used to,

The problem is:Schoolagenda: is syncing good but it took forever and after I deleted another agenda. So no problems here (for now)Facebook verjaardagen: Still has the old name (Facebook test). I changed the name a while after the creation Werkagenda: Created this as last and has a few entries. Doesn't show up on my phone at all?

When restoring iPhone to factory defaults, the same thing will occur...
So when you open Settings General Usage (after a while you see installed APPs) you notice that these apps either deleted (because of syncing), or got hidden(icons disappeared)
Is it so difficult for Apple to that? Or is it Apple's Policy not to do so?
What will go wrong if I open more than 11 pages for my APPs ? In my Samsung Galaxy I did opened more than 30 Pages ! Why using the bluetooth is complicated? Why it is not compatible with Non-Apple bluetooth products ??
