May 19, 2012due to my iphone got problem in hanging recently and my friends suggest me to erase all contents and setting to do a master reset. I have done it just now, however, after it has done and ask me to connect to itune with usb cable. I connected to my itune, but it is not working and i cant restore the IOS to my iphone at all...this cld be due to itune cant recognise my phone name as previously i do put a name on the phone but now i can only see generic terms "iphone" appear in the itune device (left side) there. ANYBODY CAN HELP ME TO RESTARE IOS ORIGINAL SOFTWARE??

May 26, 2012All my contents on my iphone 4 are lost after I upgraded it to ios 5.1.1. That is includding my contacts too.
Every time I connected my iphone4 back to Itunes. It showed a pop-up menu said " Itunes was interrupted while restoring the contents of the iphone, would you like to restore this iphone again now?" but when I clicked "continue restore" button. It showed another pop-up menu said "an error occurred while restoring this iphone(-50)."

Aug 22, 2010I've just re-installed the firmware on my E71 having completed a full backup via PC Suite before doing so. The re-installation went OK & I've restored the backed-up stuff but most of the icons from the apps located on my memory card are now missing from the Installations folder on the phone so I cannot now access any of them. Many of the apps were paid for so I don't want to have to re-install them by downloading them again from Ovi.
Is there any way I can get the application icons back in the Installations folder? They were there when I did the backup & have always come back when I have done similar re-installations in the past. The apps are on the card & App Manager tells me they are all 'installed' but won't allow me to access them.
