Aug 22, 2011Every time I try to upgrade existing applications (such as BBM / Facebook) I get the following error message: "Your BlackBerry ID will be locked for 0 minutes for security reasons. You will not be able to login or request your password until that time has expired."I am not sure how did my BB ID get blocked and furthermore how to get in unblocked. Need urgent help on this issue.

Jun 18, 2015I need to disable the "Reactivation Lock" to flash TWRP recovery from Odin (failing because of R/L) but everytime I try to turn it off and enter my samsung password it will turn back on. I tried removing samsung account or deleting it altogether but no luck.now I can't receive OTA because of Ping pong root and I can't flash because of R/L. the ONLY way to fix this is to flash the exact same firmware (and CSC) as the current firmware via Odin. I'll never use R/L ever!

Jun 26, 2015I managed to lock myself out of my Samsung galaxy s5, and now my phone is now asking for an alternative password (which I don't remember setting).
I tried going onto android/google device manager but the phone seems to have glitched from what I believe is because I put it in ultra power saving mode.
it's possible to disable ultra power saving mode while the phone is still locked.
p.s. I also rooted my phone before I became locked out of it.

BB Bold :: Locked Out And After Password Reset Still Locked?
Feb 2, 2012In linking to new Playbook, messed up and had to 'start again' with blackberry phone. Messed up also with my old password and after 10 tries it froze. I have gone through password reset process but still blocking me with the message: Your account has been locked. Please try again after the lockout period has expired or call customer service.Any suggestions other than a call to technical desk. I've been researching forums and seems to be the case that lock is indefinite. Incidentally, I didn't see the option after 10 tries to enter word 'blackberry' but it was late at night and frustration had kicked in. Possibly I missed that.

May 7, 2012Since January I have had srious problems with my Iphone 3GS. Without any warning the screen goes blank, but when I look closely there is a broad darker band running down the whole length of the screen. I am only able to take a maximum of 2-3 photos and if I try to connect to the web 3 minutes usage time is the maximum. I then connect the phone (if I am able) to a power supply and after the apple logo appears, it is followed by a battery symbol showing almost zero power. This is shortly followed by the audible sound that the phone makes as it picks up the power and the battery symnbol immediately reverts back to the status it was before the 'shutdown', this morning it was 83%. Also when i switch on the phone, the battery symbolin the top right hand corner is not green, it is white. I have taken the phone back to a brand-new phone & shut down location services, push notifications, backlight etc...but this awful situation continues!!
As my phone is not on contract and is nearly 2 and a half years old I feel that Apple have me by the proverbial 'short and curlies'. My iPhone is used on a daily basis and I must admit that I am lost without the reliabilty of it's functions. I also feel that for the cost of the phone, the battery should surely have a longer life!
I would be willing to have the battery renewed if I thought that it was failing, but is it, or habe Apple dropped a clanger and it is a software fault that they are unwillinmg to disclose, due to the backlash from it's customer base and the possible loss of future sales. As I was in the market for a desktop this summer, that is a substansial lossin sales from this one customer alone!
